Lucky Hawaiian Gecko 夏威夷的幸運壁虎

Although the most famous reptile in Hawaii is the sea turtle, on land, the “Gold Dust Day Gecko" is the most noticeable.
The Hawaiian gecko orignated in northern Madagascar. Their round-toed feet look very cute. They have been well-known as a good LUCK symbol since ancient Hawaiian times in the Islands.
The scene shot during a vacation trip was of a fresh coconut, placed on a bench in front of a small grocery market, opened by the shop owner for the gecko to drink the coconut’s juice.
Hawaiian geckos, according to the island residents, are symbols for health, good luck and wealth to every family.
They say it's your lucky day when you see a gecko ;)
