To be honest there is nothing wrong with this truck. Dodge/Ram did say this is not a replacement for the TRX. Many people actually said they would purchase this vehicle….look it up. People who want to use this truck is not totally focused on (engine power) it's more obtainable than the current TRX. It has the looks of the off road package people want. Look at the other brands, they different variants. Not everyone has 100K to spend.
13.1 for the RHO vs 12.9 for the TRX. Better Balance on the weight. 27 Grand cheaper. Better standard options. Looks like a rebel?? This guy wont be happy unless he sees a 1000 hp 5mpg monster. This RHO actually makes sense and Ram got it right. I do agree they should have kept the TRX with the Hellcat in the line up but they didn't.
I would even argue the price difference between the two is $35k+
Current available TRXs are not really discounted. Meanwhile certain dealers are discounting the RHO. The spread is much more wide.

RHO stands for Rebel High Output. Ram never claimed it was a replacement for the TRX. It’s the Rebel with more power.
Obviously knockout didn’t do his research on this truck and what it is. There were TRX’s at the dealership and I ordered a RHO. Cheaper and better gas mileage. It’s a truck not a Ferrari.

Don't sleep turbo sixes can get moving. All it will take is a tune to wake it up. Crappy part is no matter the exhaust. They will always sound terrible. Especially, for a truck. There's no masking it. The V8's & up will always be king for sound!
Inline-6 can sound good, older RB powered Skylines, 1/2J, B58, Cummins if you wanna go diesel.
That being said V8 is for sure the king of sound

Brother, this is something most people don’t know/understand, unless you are in the know.
Aside from all the “broke” comments guys may make, the TRX is really borderline impossible to daily. I would always make the comparison that the TRX is more of like specialty/supercar than a work truck.
The fuel, the stress from getting the truck stolen (the height making it hard for most people to fit inside a garage,) the disrespectful people that touch your car, the people that park right next to your truck in an empty parking lot (and then hit it on the way out,) the insurance, etc.. I can go on and on.
I always maintained that the TRX wasn’t a daily driver. I would drive mine on the weekends, and that break during the week always ensured that the rides over those three days, Fri-Sun, were extra special.

You are definitely! definitely!tripping dude. The body is identical to a TRX. Also this truck is a winner winner chicken dinner situation. That is one hell of a deal for what you're getting. I have a third gen raptor that I will be trading in and getting one of these RHOs. Wait until you tune it that's going to be awesome. A lot better fuel mileage too versus TRX. Anyway I love it it's about time ram in my opinion are making a SRT version of the 1500 RAM. Like the Challenger the charger the Jeep the Durango. Now we have RHO they should have put SRT on it . Ram did say it is not a replacement for the TRX I'm sure next year they will have a TRX with lots more power and lots more money. I don't want to spend $115k on a new truck I like mine fully loaded that's what it would cost for a new TRX. Versus around 80k and it's almost as fast as a TRX. You people are so focused on the TRX you can't see beyond what a good deal this truck is. In the major thing is 35k less than a fully loaded TRX versus fully loaded RHO. 45K less for the final edition model. So put that in your pipe and smoke it. Haha.
You are also tripping if you think the hurricane engine can handle more boost safely. The block castings are very weak, the engine internals i.e. pistons rod crank are not forged. Open deck not closed deck. Direct injection instead of port. Small overworked turbos. I haven't even touched the cooling system and ecu. But you go ahead and do you. You clearly know wtf you are doing with that grenade in your hand...
Do your research please. You're thinking of the regular hurricane. The RHO is the high output which has forged internals. With a deep skirt aluminum cast block. Forge Pistons. forge connecting rods. Cross bolted steel main bearing caps. This mother is going to be a beast when you tune it.good for a 800 horsepower safe 800 horsepower. At the flywheel. Run e85 you can add at least another 90 horsepower. So I will enjoy it thank you. Without having to worry it will blow up. Just factory alone is better than what I have 450 horsepower raptor. 90 more horsepower will be a big noticeable difference. And like I said before this to me is like a SRT version of the RAM. Awesome!! So put that in your pipe and smoke it haha just kidding with you I'm not being mean. I'm just stating the facts. Look it up you'll see the HO is forged.😊
I never said the RHO did not come with forged internals. That being said I wouldn't trust anything "forged" from stellantis. Having an aluminum block is not a benefit for boost and reliability nor is an closed deck design. You read me a brochure.....

The great thing about turbo vehicles they can always be tuned. Not saying NA cars can’t be tuned, but force induct vehicles are better when they are tuned to me anyway I’m pretty sure a stage two tune will be coming out soon for that hurricane twin turbo engine very soon And it should be touching 700 hp or just a little horsepower under 700 hp.

I’d just get a certified used 21 or 22 clean Level 2 and willing to travel anywhere for the best deal and definitely pay less for either of them. Don’t need to always buy Brand New especially when it doesn’t have the engine you want and most certainly not paying $125k + for a final edition or anything else for that matter.

I was pissed about losing the Hemi also. I love the TRX. But the TRX priced at $100k, first off is ridiculously overpriced. Second, the 8 mpg is also ridiculous. So to get a TRX body (the look), shocks, and all the exterior goodies WITH a 540HP inline 6 (more than Raptor), that gets 15 mpg AND $72k????? DUDE, its a no-brainer. I love it. And just FYI, ITS THE TRX exterior/body EXCATLY with upgraded lights, bumpers and grille for 2025. Dealer confirmed. You must have been one of those dudes that spent $90k for a TRX and now you're mad. Stop hatin. And FYI, the way an INLINE 6 turbo works, is a ton of power (torque) at lower RPMs. So 0-60 is going to be as fast and zippier like the TRX. Your review is ridiculous. TH-cam the inline 6, and you will learn something.

The RHO gets better mileage and wont have trouble passing emissions. Its lighter and just a tadm bit slower thanthe TRX. It costs $25k less than the trx. 540 hp is plenty for 99% of buyers. TRX is only temporarily discontinued, for those who just have to have a new one. T,he only real disadvantage to me is i'd miss the trx's v-8 rumble.

First of all, you haven’t done your research. It looks exactly the same as the TRX. Same body, same suspension and it’s a 2025 model. They have the same body and the same interior. Do your research and you will find there is very high demand. My friend who is a GM at a Dodge dealership and a real car guy ordered one and is excited about it. Do some research and I think you will feel different .

Just had to offer more cars and then they’re polluting credits would wipe each other out and they could keep building the hemi. The money that they spend on pollutant credits from Tesla, is nothing compared to what they make, not even in the same ballpark. So yes, they can but their new European owners do not want the V8 hemi any longer. That’s the real problem

@@Avenue77 bro, that’s a crazy ass opinion when the truck literally sits on the same frame and suspension as the TRX. Same cab and bed configuration. Same wide body flares. The RHO actually has a better approach and departure angle than the TRX. We get it, a lot of people don’t like the truck based solely on its drivetrain, but it’s literally the same truck with a new engine and a few exterior updates that includes the headlights, grille, bumper, and new tail lights.
This engine intrigues me, maybe in something like a Wrangler would be sweet. Trucks should have V8’s though.

Ima be honest man I love your content but your hella wrong on so many things in this video it ain’t funny my brutha. The screen is a 14 inch screen obviously passengers 10 inch and now it has massaging seat driver and passenger the headlights are actually better and more defined than the TRX. It also is not a replacement dodge said it themselves. The TRX is coming back and they allude to it in the intro video for the RHO. It also has rear reclining seats as well. The speed results make sense also because due to weight and hp a 140-150hp difference isn’t substantial at all it’s a difference between milliseconds

Love reading the commits of those that have never driven a TRX. The grill and front end are different, take a closer look. My first run on the TRX was 3.9 0-60 easy and that was because I was nervous. Better balanced, give me a break, 150lbs difference, WOW. Bought my TRX at the same price the RHO is starting at, if you missed out and missed the window, than you better buy your RHO now because the same sh*t is going to happen with price increases.
U do realize it competes with raptor also it's not replace 😂 like ford raptor v6 year later raptor r v8 dodge trx b8 year later rhov6 it's opposite what dodge did to what ford did
