Thanks for being honest with us ♥️ it's comforting to see youtubers going through real life issues during quarantine, since that's the reality for most of us as well. Oh also workout tip: watch something while you workout! My workouts are like 1/10 as arduous when I watch something, it almost doesn't even feel like working out
Love the seat of the pants vlogging style in this - so different from your last stylish, cool summer go-to try-on. Your openness (frustrations, insecurities and all) had me empathizing and relating. Good luck in your apartment hunting!
WOW i just LOVE you showing your real mood in your vlog😂 makes it much more fun to watch! Nobody is happy/positive all the time and it's good to be able to empathize
Oyster sauce, fish sauce and soy sauce are pretty much the basics is a stir fry. You can add them to taste but I usually use mostly oyster then soy and fish for taste
The key to fried rice is to cook it the day before and fully chill it in the fridge. It helps to prevent the rice from breaking up when you fry it. I love adding chopped up kimchi, green onions, peas, carrots, any other veg you want would work too. But for the sauce i love the Indonesian style by adding Katsip Manis (sweet soy sauce), tiny bit of regular soy sauce and sriracha. So bomb
fried rice tip: I always keep a bag of frozen veggie mix (peas, carrots, corn) for when I want to make fried rice. just had a cup and then you have veggies for your meal! and since they veggies are frozen it won't go bad and you can always have it on hand :)
My family's fried rice recipe :) A generous drop or veggie oil (or sesame if you prefer) in a hot pan/wok Day old rice! We always make extra rice for dinner and use the leftovers for fried rice trust me its better tasting than same day rice turned into fried rice. Crumble the rice into the pan and allow to steam with a little bit of water Mix in protein of your choice, we use sliced ham, or leftover pork chops, or bbq pork from Chinese take out, (my fav) but you could totally use pieces of chicken. secret ingredient = canned drained pineapple pieces idk why its so goof but it is. I add it in early so it can get soft and fried on the outside. Add in some frozen (or even canned) veggies (mixed veeggis work but I prefer just corn and peas) Once veggies are cooked, push everything to one side of the pan and add a little oil to fry the egg. Scramble the egg in a bowl or directly into the pan (saves a dish) *I add the egg last because I think it gets rubbery but my sister adds it in with the rice because she says it gets crunchy?* Finish with a decent amount of soya and siracha if you please :) (Kimchi is also a fav in my house if you like spicy) Enjoy!
Hey Allegra, I have a simple fried rice recipe that I have been making for quite some time. - Stir fry some dried prawns & remove them from the pan once done (this takes about 1 to 2 mins) - You should be able to find them at the Asian grocer - Marinate some bite sized cut potatoes with chilli powder and stir fry them & remove them from the pan once done - In the same pan, stir fry 1 chopped onion (add more if you'd like more onions) - Add in 2 fried eggs and let them cook together with the onions for maybe 4 to 5 mins - Add in the leftover white rice and stir them up together - Add soy sauce (to taste), lots of black pepper and some sesame oil - Stir fry them on medium to high heat until all the liquids have been soaked up and the rice is dry - Add in the dried prawns and potatoes that you have stir fried earlier, mix them all up with the rice and you are done. You can add some veggies if you want (e.g. french beans, mixed frozen veggies)
Garlic, butter, red and yellow onions, sauteed with the rice, half a table spoon of soysauce at the end, mix while cooking. top with a little bit of edamame and or crispy garlic on top
i think mac has a program where you can sell your old laptops back to apple for parts/ send it to them to recycle i think?? my roommate did it i think but im not 100% sure how it works/if it works for all models/warrantees etc...
Vegan collagen is not the same. It’s really not worth the $. If you use fish collagen, the scales of the fish is a byproduct so it’s really just using something that otherwise would be thrown out if that makes you feel any better about it. 💗
Hyaluronic acid helps boost your own collagen production. Vegan collagen doesn’t exist. It’s only things that boost your own collagen production. Unless I’m grossly misinformed, which could happen. But to my knowledge collagen only naturally occurs in animals.
Make sure that you destroy your old hard drives or at least take them out of the laptop before sending them to Apple! You can also take electronics to a recycling centre, I'm sure there's info on the city or Toronto website 😊
My partner just bought a house downtown Toronto thanks to an amazing realtor. No fixing up needed and it's perfect for us. It happened fast as so many great places in Toronto just popped up on the market. There were definitely multiple bids. Good luck!
Ok but these are goals!! I mean she’s in quarantine but still got a new boyfriend?! Nice! 💪🏻💪🏻😂😂😂 but yeah I’m dying to see the guy but he must be cute Lol
For fried rice, chinese sausage and white pepper are my must have flavors! Other than that, having frozen peas and carrots on hand is easy peasy, and eggs and rice. Leftover rice that has been refrigerated helps with it separating well!
The quick delicious boujee fried rice of my childhood❤️: Frozen peas, diced carrot, onion, egg, some kind of protein (spam and chinese sausage most preferable. if you havent tried chinese sausage, go to your nearest asian store and thank me later. it's shelf stable (best not to ask why) Toss together with some leftover rice, soy sauce & salt&pep. Also dark soy sauce if available, but its not necessary. (throw the egg into your pan last, before adding the rice. just push everything aside and let it cook a bit before cutting it up. no need to use an extra pan, its the asian mama way)
i used to have terrible acne and ive got super sensitive skin. I started using deciem's high efficiency hylamide cleanser as a makeup remover and holy wow its really great. doesnt dry my skin out but doesnt leave it greasy either. would highly recommend
You should add veggies! My staple veggies - broccoli, carrot, red bell peppers, onion, spinach, cabbage, frz cauliflower rice, frz peas, that I always have on hand. I used them to make stir frys (I love rice noodles) OR burrito bowls. Every now and then I’ll buy other veggies like brussels sprouts, squash - whatever is in season. I’ll look up different sauce recipes on Pinterest so that I don’t get bored eating the same thing every week. I’ve also been obsessed with Greek salads lately. Fresh romaine, red onion, cucumber, cherry tomato, red bell pepper (olives if u like them but I don’t) and of course feta (could do avo instead for texture) + homemade balsamic dressing. Also hemp seeds. I actually add them to everythinggg!
Just a suggestion, get the measurements off all of your furniture keep it in your phone and bring a measuring tape with you when you view. That way you can measure and compare if the furniture you already have will fit, and if it doesn’t don’t rush to sell it. Maybe it can be placed in Uncles studio or maybe storage for a bit. Also I live down the street from Toms Dairy Freeze, it is so popular but worth the wait lol trust me been going there since I was 9 and I’m 31 now haha.
Yesss so happy to see a vlog from you!! I def would love to see videos of you trying to cook different cuisine! I've been getting really into cooking during quarantine but same, only certain types of cultures' foods. Hope you're doing well ❤️❤️
You have to try the Youth to the People line. I have VERY sensitive and acne-prone skin. That stuff is a miracle worker. Also, try renting a level of a house. Most likely won't sell and you'll get a ton of space for a decent price (from a Toronto living lady lol)

The price of *apple* computers is absurd! If you widen your range beyond apple products and look for computers with the proper specs for your occupation/hobbies, the price drops dramatically. Just something to point out!
