This works on the paper, but you won't get far using this technique in a full game.
Due to the game thread, you can have some issues to get the sync of each tracks right. The current solution to bypass this limitation is to use Timesynth :)
Nice basic tutorial to get the basics of sound manipulation and mixes.

Love the content man. I would absolutely love if you could do some more tutorials in Unreal/Wwise, there's really not that many resources out there taking people through the fundamentals and it's something I really struggle with!

I'm actually not really proficient in Wwise but it's definitely something I want to learn more about as well. Once I get into learning Wwise, I'll for sure do some videos on it.

What sound card do you recommend for video games?

There are a couple different ways you can do it. It really depends on how your combat system is set up. One way is if you are setting up mobs to aggro based on proximity then you can set that same proximity trigger to push your sound mix modifier and set the pull to get actor heath and an "If health is less that 1" to the pull. That way when they die it'll stop the music.

How come your stems all play in time and not slightly off time after you walk over the boxes? Great video by the way!
