Hope you're here for a long time, Kwesi.
Things have been rough from time to time, but this offseason even with all the tragedy has been one of the most hopeful offseasons I have had in a long time as a Vikings fan.
Kwesi is a bottom 3 GM. Can’t wait till we fire him and get someone who can evaluate talent and maneuver the draft a lot better than this idiot. Send him back to Wall Street. 👋
He was pretty vulnerable here, I like it.
You gotta respect a leader that offers intellect and easily explains his reason. He’s very open-minded and smart. I love that he makes decisions for the team we love.
The guy has had his hands tied for two years. I feel good about this team and it’s the best I’ve seen in a while!!!! SKOL
I really like kwesi Adofo-Mensah and Kevin o'connell I hope they stay long time until 2030
Aaron rodgers too
I freaking love Kwesi. Love that he's our GM
Wow, he's matured into a stud!! I have faith in a Superbowl under him and I haven't had hope about this team in a long long time!
Can't wait for the 2025 season to start. Love the direction of the squad
Trust the process, people. There was a reason Hall was let go. I pray Hall does well. Kwesi is doing a great job handling business. I have no expectations for the season, however, I feel like we will surprise a lot of people. SKOL!!!
I didn’t realize a lot of you were GMs, the way y’all be acting is like you’re seasoned pros. smh
It don't take a scientist 😂 just stfu
You don’t have to be a GM to know Jaren Hall is better, and had more upside than Brett rypien
Kwesi is bad
@@samring2742 I assume that Kwesi was trying to get cute and put him on the PS. Also his injury could be more than the vikings are letting on. Everyone was wondering why they cut Nwangwu but now we know it’s because he could pass a physical. Theres layers to this the people don’t think about. They see a headline and immediately makes assumptions/accusations. We as a fan base need to just be patient and trust there is a plan in place. He very much could still be a viking a couple days from now.
@@rainyday8921 I’m fine with being patient but there’s no denying Brett rypien is ass and Jaren had at least a little potential
Idk why people are bashing Kwesi, feels like the same people crying about hall who is a 3rd stringer I might add, are the same people who pounded the table for Kellen mond 😂
Not to mention he also had the balls to cut a total bust of a 1st round pick in Lewis Cine and we all know spielman woulda held onto his ego and tried giving him more time
Personally like Kwesi but I don’t think Spielman would’ve traded out of the 12 spot down to 32. And to a division rival no less. But we live and we learn.
1. Hall was looking waaaay better in preseason and in contention for the QB2 spot.
2. It's a dick move when you're performing your best and then get cut.
Hall had a good preseason, so it is confusing. What has Brett Rypien done yet? I was willing to bet that Mullens may have been the backup on gamedays, but Hall may have been more likely to get a start over Mullens if Darnold was to miss time. I do think it is more than just a discussion about the 3rd string QB.
@@EthanKlassen00hall is hurt. And he looked good to us, but obviously not good enough to them
How is Mullens better? He's NOT! Mullens is a loser. Did you not see Hall's performance in Preseason? Mullens sucked.
Why did we cut Hall for Rypien????? Pleaseeeeee make it make sense! SKOL
He’s better
Hall is hurt. They will pick him up on the practice roster if he wants to sign.
Rypien is like Hall too not very good
@@wolfwang8464even you don't believe everything you're saying. 😂 that's just coping. It's ok to criticize.
Must be injury
Hopefully Hall is on the practice squad. Kinda wish we kept Kene but we'll see how it plays out. Looking forward to the season.
He will be picked up by then end of the day and gone for good
Cutting Jaren Hall was wild
not really, 3rd strong qbs get shuffled all the time
@@catchingphoenixrtr maybe they felt that they are moving on from him
@@florencedahl3617when he was clearly showing off greatly? Ugh come on now
Hall should never have been drafted until 6th or 7th round.

Petition to bring back King Kene Nwangwu! Skol 💜
KJ stitched into his shirt speaks volumes about the organization.
It's a button
That is quite obviously a button. But, the organization seems to have done nothing but the right things for Kyree and his family.
Haha, most fans wouldn't have a clue what a Monte Carlo simulation is. High octane analysis there. Running 10s of thousands of possible outcomes.
yall acting like jaren hall was the best play ever. lol shut up
Lmao it’s so funny. As if he was ever gonna start for us or could do anything special for us.
LITERALLY
A Real fan is invested in our development for the future as well as the starting Roster. But if I have to explain that to you and the 9 likers. You wouldn't understand 🙄
@@KingDavid-D37 A real fan understands that the business is the business, and sometimes our favorite depth players just aren’t going to make the 53. I will admit i shouldn’t have been as callus as i was, but we need to be realistic with our expectations. I was pounding the table for Jaren prior to the vikings drafting him. I really liked him, but he’s an older prospect with more developing ahead of him. I was just confused why people were coming after Kwesi for waiving a 3rd string QB.
@@rainyday8921 All these NFL You Tube site try to predict drafts. Roster cuts fantasy Football because it's fun to them. Then you have the crowd that nitpicks them and says stuff like What!!! Do you think you're a general manager or something. Its stupid. What I am is a Viking fan who has been watching them faithfully since 1969. If I have an opinion on a roster move, I earned the right to give it without some sarcastic prick saying. It's a third stringer. What do you care. LOL
As a Packer fan, I hope this guy stays the GM for a very long time.
Well the Minnesota Vikings will have a great season and we are doing this for Rookie Cornerback Number 31 Khyree Jackson.
Trust the system 😊
That's a nice looking shirt.
I think they're getting cute and want to have Hall on the practice squad as the 3rd qb and only elevate him if Darnold gets hurt. That way they can have an extra roster spot. If Hall makes it to the Practice Squad I think they release Rypien. Either that or they are trying to do right by Jaren Hall and get him an opportunity somewhere else.
That's a plausible explanation. But allowing a rival to pick up Hall to learn the playback is really suspect ... at best?
Exactly. Hall's spot on the 53 would be better used on a non-QB position. I think Rypien is a hedge in case someone picks up Hall.
Calculated gamble. Or Hall was injured on that hit.
@@Giovanni-zc1lv Yeah I think they're getting too cute with it but that's my best guess.
Let Kwesi cook!
He was cooking with HALL
Kwesi the 🐐
Ima miss Duke Shelley😢
Where do we get that hat?! 👀can’t find it anywhere
Most likely released Hall as a favor to him, his chance to be a starter or even a backup in Minnesota has past. Better to let him walk and see if he can go somewhere where he’ll have a better chance of playing someday.
Those complaining about hall being cut give me one player besides maybe cousins..coming up give me one player Kwesi has let go or cut that has gone on to be successful? So far none! Zadarius nope dalvin cook nope thielen not really how about Kendricks nope..only two that might do well hunter and cousins that’s it!! Otherwise everytime he ever got rid of someone has never come back to haunt us or did I think Dan should kept him etc
Vikings fans pissy about getting rid of a 3rd string QB when these are the same fans who wouldnt want a 3rd string QB to be able to win games. Since these are the fans who always want to tank.
The team can be in a great spot. They’ll need to trade down this upcoming draft to get more capital, but if they get a high end veteran interior O lineman in FA to solidify the interior and bring experience, and then use the draft to get the best available DT / IOL available they can fortify the trenches. Then the next next draft is easy money. You can draft another IOL or high end RB w/ some juice, luxury picks. Just fortify the interior next year - and bc we don’t have a 2-4 rd pick, I suggest we trade down to get a 2nd or even 2 picks in the first (depending on where the Vikings are picking I.e. top 10)
The Vikings don't have enough blue chip players, which is why they need high 1st round picks. Trading down reduces your chance of getting a blue chipper. I've always believed that its better to have one A-level player then two B-level players. However, maybe I need Kwesi to run that scenario through his Monte Carlo models to see if my assumption is right.
It's harder to trade down from pick 29-32.
Hall is very much an unexpected move, but I’ll trust their process for now. He did have a tendency toward injury, even among the short time he’s had playing. And maybe there’s more to that than we’ve seen. But it’s kind of weird in relation to bringing on, then quickly releasing Corral. It seems like musical chairs. Is Rypien really any better? It’s easy to be critical, but it does look scattered and uncertain. In other words, it’s not a good look.
It’s a bit condescending to use common retirement financial terms like “Monte Carlo simulations” thinking that people in that room do not understand what that means. If he simulates the analogous idea of replacing financial assets with player assets, the Monte Carlo simulations would favor Hall in almost every category. There could be a myriad of reasons why this move was made, but a “Monte Carlo simulation” could not have been one of them.
Probably more virtue signaling by Kwesi than anything
@lifeisabouttheodds if they release and resign him to the practice squad, they save just under 2 million dollars. If he is signed to the practice squad, he makes 37,000 dollars a game. Please explain your analytics that this costs more money? I'm confused.
Who’s doing your kick returner miles miles is on the practice squad
So we release a marginally talented QB that knows the offense and pickup a marginally talented QB that doesn't know our offense....got it.
let kwesi cook!!!
Who cares about 3rd stringer moves
They won't be there
why are people so butt hurt about this
@@rainyday8921 I wonder the same thing too
Kwesi I hope your doing the right thing with cutting hall, I don’t understand why but it’s business
When we picking our captains anyone know?

Everyone KOC wanted Rypien over Hall too so bash him as well… but you won’t
Monte Carlo? - This is not financial investments. Jaren Hall release at this point in time is just a stupid move unless he is injured and not able to play.
Monte Carlo simulations are used for all aspects of life. It's about understanding huge numbers of variables - exactly what an NFL team is. And how do you know it's a stupid move? Are you calling KOC stupid? Why don't you say it to his face at the next HCs meeting? Oh, you won't be there?

Yip. Kwesi is always looking to upgrade. Who thought he could get Zadarius, or Aaron Jones. Who knew who Harrison Phillips was 3 years ago, or thought Jordan Hicks would be good. Most fans have nfi.
2022 Draft
I have feeling Raiders will pick him up
I get it, it’s a business but the whole hall situation is messed up
That 2022 draft has got to be the worst draft in Vikings history. I can only pray that kwesi learnt his lesson
You need to look at some old draft classes. Not even close. There are still 6 of the 10 players from that class on the roster, plus Nahshon, and the Vederian Lowe trade pick was used in the trade to get Turner.
3 of 15 players remain from the 2020 class, and 3 of 10 from 2021. Just be patient grasshopper.
Why jaren hall
didnt he have a safety in the preseason? im pretty sure youre not supposed to do that
Hall had to be cut we drafted JJ for the future Halls young let him go make a make for himself somewhere
No point developing two young qbs. McCarthy is the future. Its all about experience in the qb room. Hall brings absolutely nothing on that side.
They must see Rypien as a better long-term backup to JJ McCarthy. Neither him nor Hall are intended yo be the starter. That's 9.
That 2022 draft class was historically bad. I cut Kwesi some slack because it was his first draft but everybody could've seen that disaster coming.
Mate, there are twice as many players on the roster from the 2022 class than the 2021 and 2020 classes which were both larger classes.
SKOL
Hey Kwesi, there’s nothing cooking in your pot.
Terrible move KDAWG, SHOULDVE waived Mullins
I feel Kwesi needs to back off the Analytics schemes and start getting back to true scouting observations, grit and heart evaluations. Tends to throw draft picks away or drafted players away too easily, we need to start hitting on some of these players.
He's an idiot when it comes to draft picks. People defending this move are casuals. Only know starters. This is football. You need more than starters to win. Even if it means 3rd string qb. Look, last year we needed 4 qbs.
@@tacticalmanagerbabymommaak5825Bruh,practice squads are a thing
@@tacticalmanagerbabymommaak5825it’s almost like our back ups just beat every teams back ups in preseason and Kwesi has shown that we have a lot better depth then the previous two seasons
Naaah man its official i dont trust him anymore
You know Kwesi just executes the transactions for players that is coaches want right? I'm pretty sure that KOC has a better idea of what he wants in a QB than any of the experts in these comments.
Who is Brett Rypien he don't know how this offense works since you guys drafted a decent quarterback JJ McCarthy is all that matters nothing more who cares about who's at the 3rd string
I wish we would have kept Cousins especially after JJ went down maybe just maybe Jefferson Addison and Jones can help Darnold hide is flaws 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Cousins is rated between 13th - 16th best QB but paid as a top 5 QB. It stifled the ability to build a winning team. Plus, he has only won about 50% of his games in the NFL. The Cousins experiment failed miserably in Minnesota. Nice guy though
Darnold has fewer flaws than Kirk.
Fan of Cousins here, but not for 4 more years at $160 million. They really needed to reset their salary cap, so not signing Cousins (and Hunter) was a must.
Loved the moves this off-season but waiving hall for Brett is sooooooo stupid, most of my respect is gone. More because it sounds like hall wasn’t pleased with the decision and this is probably going to effect his growth, which seem to be going well this preseason. Nothing stunts growth more than anger and it seems like they made a stupid decision here.
Why cut Kene Nwangwu? You cant teach speed.
speed doesnt matter if your on the bench because you dont fit the offense or cant pick it up. With kick off changes you dont really need his gunner speed there for he got cut
Tough to use a roster spot on just a KO specialist, which means touching the ball only 2-3 times/game. He's not an NFL RB. He has long speed, not a lot of wiggle, can't pass protect, and can't run inside. Gaskin is a far more complete RB that can also return kicks.
@@TH-cam.Algorithmic.Nonsense Gaskin is a bum and you know it! Kene definitly showed he can be used as a RB in preseason, 47 yard Td was a inside run he turned into something special just because he has that kind of speed.
@@ivoeenink3860 He ran through a hole you could have ran through. That doesn't happen in the regular season against starters. It was an off tackle play which is not an "inside run".
Hamilton, Linderbaum, or McDuffie. _Any_ one of those players in 2022 salvages one of worst Viking drafts in history. You don't get do-overs in drafts. Those players should all be peaking now.
*TEN* picks produced 1 mediocre starter, 4 legit busts, 1 RB2, and the remainder are largely inconsequential depth players, 2 of which were cut or traded. Any mock draft simulator would have produced better results. Quit collaborating with Grigson and pay top dollar for the best scouts in the country.
Very inaccurate analysis.
Cine - gone. Unfortunate injury. Who knows how he will work out.
Ingram - improving from year to year. Let's reevaluate after this season.
Booth - now = Nahshon. Let's see how he progresses
Asamoah - rotational back up
Evans - rotational back up
Chandler - ascending RB2
Otomewo - miss
Vederian Lowe - traded for pick used in Turner trade.
Nailor - WR3 - will this be his year?
Muse - solid depth player
Perhaps also consider other draft classes like 2021 and 2020. Jefferson and Darrisaw stand out like beacons as the only players that showed anything for 2 or 3 years. The only other players that survived from those 10 and 15 player classes are Bynum, Metellus, Brandel and Jones II.
None of them had done anything after 2 seasons - Brandel is going into his 5th season and only just becoming a starter, and Jones II is barely hanging on to his spot.
Most draft classes only result in one decent starter and one or two rotational guys and the 2022 class is still on track to do that.
@@robe2504 You can't sugarcoat the fact that it was the worst draft of any team in 2022, which underscores that Kwesi simply wasn't ready to be a GM. You can't blow your first 4 rounds. Period. He set the team back a full year for the future because he whiffed so badly. The worst part is that he traded up for some of the picks, such as Evans. There was no need to trade down to #32 for Cine when you already had 10 picks.
Evans and Booth both had injury histories going back to high school. Asamoah is too undersized, can't tackle, and becomes invisible when he gets caught in the wash of OTs and OGs. Pace is undersized, but he can tackle and navigate through the trash to bring down guys. Cine wasn't a starter and couldn't beat out a converted 4th round CB in Bynum before he broke his leg. Last year he was repeatedly an inactive on game day despite no injury designation. Couldn't be trusted enough even to play special teams. Bottom line is that he wasn't smart enough to grasp Flores' defense. He's nothing more than an overrated Jamal Adams box safety who can't cover. KOC and Kwesi were hoodwinked by his 40 time and tried to be overly cute when they had a rookie 1st Team All-Pro staring them in the face.
The only player I can see amounting to anything is Booth. Zimmer will get him squared away. His first game after being traded was against the Raiders and he was flying around making open field tackles and breaking up deep balls. If he amounts to anything it's on Daronte Jones and Flores.
Focus on next season 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Makes zero sense! Releasing Hall and keeping Mullens. Hall was the Vikings best QB in pre-season by far! Look at the stats! Mullens is a loser "L" 1-4 in the regular season last year to inlude throwing 2 INTs in the horrible OT loss to the Bengles. Playing favorites is not going to win you games.
The vikings have to get rid of this guy. He seems to be a Packers plant. Every move he has made has made the team worse and not competitive in the future. He hasnt sugned 1 good player. 0 excitement for this team going forward, and their lies are unbelievable.
Is he in the hot seat ? Not a fan of this final roster

I am a fan of how KAM operates, even with the mistakes he made early on (2022 draft first and formost, Cine over Hamilton being the worst). But, I am left little confused on a couple things.
13:17 So, your kick returner is on your practice squad and not on the active roster?
Jaren Hall had a good preseason, so waiving him for Rypien doesn't make much sense to me. What has Rypien done that justifies this change? Maybe they can get Hall back on the PS, sounds like they might try that.
