    Why do I love your voice/tone so much. It’s like just really… how do I say this… engaging/captivating?

    This is a lot of good information, I do want to put down a note to help: USB cannot handle all of the data coming from a good condenser microphone. Converting down often leads to issues. A small on-the-desk mixer can take the XLR and use a USB Variant more like the one you'd use for a printer. If you do a usb converter you might have issues, this is a way around that if you try it and aren't happy ^.^

    You don't _have_ to buy the official Velcro brand in order to find quality hook-and-loop - anything good enough to be used in military/tactical gear will be strong stuff (just don't fall for the "mil-spec" meme, verify the fastener is actually used by reputable gear makers).

    • @lalystar4230
      @lalystar4230 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So true! Something else you could also consider is gaffers tape! We use it in pretty much the same way as many use velcro for stage and film productions, it's just not reusable. So that's where good velcro really shines!

    what do you meaaannn... get the sm58 if you don't care what it looks like!!! xD I think it's still one of the best dynamic mics out there! AND ITS USED EVERYWHERE for live gigs! It's ICONIC! xD lol
    (Aaaaannnnddddd I may or may not just have a couple of those lying around to record singing and a drumkit.... 😝😝 okay... okay... i might be biased! 🤣🤣)
    On a wireless mic setup, have you ever tried or considered using a lavalier microphone, or one of those headmounted stage/theater mics?

    • @Fofamit
      @Fofamit  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Some people don't like how it looks on camera (for non-vtubers) for whatever reason, and yeah! You can totally attach a LAV to the Rode Wireless Go.

  • @cyphre
    @cyphre 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    With regard to the Rode Wireless Go, the new Diety (wireless lav) competitor seems even better; both smaller and cheaper but with the same quality as other Diety mics.

    Hey @Fofamit I dont know if you'll ever read this, but you perhaps have posted about it, but I've been scouring your page all night looking for the answer to these questions. Where did you get your model? Did you make it yourself? Did you make the room yourself? I found your video in the Unity and building the room and all, but how would I go about getting one for myself? Did it cost you a crazy amount? :3 Thank you anyone who knows the answer and/or takes the time to respond. I appreciate it :3

    If you get a used iPad Pro m1 instead of the iphoneX, you still get the face tracking, but also get an extra screen, and an M1 chip for editing and graphic design.

    Question: I've been told repeatedly that for iPhone users we don't need facial lighting because of how the iPhone works. Would you be able to confirm this is the case or dispel that notion if not?
    Also thoughts on the Ultraleap over the LeapMotion? I bought the UltraLeap myself as I'd heard of the heating problems of the Leapmotion + the wider viewing range.

      @@Fofamit Thanks! I watched this after posting my earlier question and wasn't sure if it was for Webcam only or applied to iPhone as well so figured I'd leave my question standing. I appreciate it.

      If you need good lighting so that the monitoring is more optimal, the iPhone should be kept with the minimum brightness to the minimum possible to avoid overheating, and rapid battery drain.

    The only thing realy annoys me about vtube avatars is the lipsync. Its never perfect and most of the time is far for good.

    wait, for wireless mics, you're not gonna recommend the Antilion Wireless modmic version? it's pretty good on it's own.

    • @Fofamit
      @Fofamit  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've used one in the past and I recommend them for chatting with friends like in VRChat, Discord, etc. But not for streaming where sound quality and longevity matter more.

    Thank you so much for this! Are there any wireless headsets you recommend for mic quality? Currently I use a Corsair Void Pro, but the mic isn't that great.

    From what i've heard occlusion isn't really a greater issue with the tracker 3.0.
