Holy sh*t! 140dB Threshold of pain, all frequencies 140dB Hearing protection required (definite long term damage) 140dB human throat and vocal cord resonance occurs 141dB Nausea felt after a few minutes TH-cam doesn't do the noise justice, damn lol.
Luis velazquez I think they are strict about it just to stop people coming with all type of inventions that would be noisier than that. My question is: if you were allowed to go as noisy as you could, there would this madness stop? There would always be someone louder.
Because of the modern technology, the Ferrari 458 Speciale has almost the same performances I guess. The vanilla Mc12 and the vanilla 458, has almost the same Ring lap time. Nice beast by the way
Marcelo S you don't understand man. The Pagani Huayra has a best kg/hp ratio than the Porsche 918, but the Porsche is much faster than the Pagani on the circuit. It's all about how the car use the horsepower on the tarmac, and the 458 Special has the best electronic, Ferrari Slip differencial, custom esp ect ect. 200hp more means nothing.
Diego Legion, no you don't get it. Marcelo did not comment on what is fastest. Marcelo S comment was in reference to "the vanilla MC12" statement. This car has 200hp more than "normal" (or vanilla) MC12 CORSA. Get it?
I have mentioned the 458 Speciale vs the Mc12 Edo Corsa (the car on video). Then I mentioned the vanilla 458 and the vanilla Mc12. I know the GT1 restrictions, and the difference between the "normal" Corsa and this one with no air cut. By the way it is much much much faster the "normal" Corsa than this. It's a race car, with slick tires, no extra weight due to legal stuff etc etc...
The driver looked annoyed at the end of the video, and i understand his frustration. But jeez, 139db, i wouldn't want to be at brünnchen when he passes by full throttle.
Absolutely insane car, and I'm very glad that it exists but aren't your options for experiencing the car as it was meant to be experienced, somewhat limited? I mean, 139dB?! Whole planets have ended with less noise than that. I think I'd rather have an R8 LMS (or something like that) and be able to experience it more often, without fear of getting black-flagged for so much as starting the engine whilst still getting much greater factory support if something goes wrong. What if a wheel bearing goes, for example. Would you have to wait three weeks for a new one? Perhaps I'm just being cynical but that would get quite boring after a while, I'd imagine.
I never really got the argument of a car being to loud it's a race track like really? I know the Nürburgring has the loudest allowed but it makes no sense in my eyes, here in the U.K it's a joke think it was Oulton park has a max of 105 for standing and 92 for drive by for track days what a world we live in.
The MC12 Versione Corse is hardcore! Pure car love! Sad that it could not be a full throttle lap! The MC12 Versione Corse 139dB, AMG GT Black Series 74dB in full throttle! 😂
Still cool even if not going flat out. Was reading where they may be putting mufflers on NASCAR cars as well. Probably will eventually. To bad, as a fan of pretty much all motorsports, tracks are where you are supposed to be able to cut loose.
Isn´t the 139dB estimated or exact value (standardised) to be at 1 metre from the exhaust tips or something like that? I mean that it´s not like 139dB anymore when it reaches for instance a 10m distance, but in that situation the reducted volume (from 139dB to) 119dB is still something that has an ability to damage hearing instantly and certainly there is no way of hiding a source of a sound that loud. :D That is one of my favorite car models of all time. So beautiful, that engine,..
I never liked Maserati, but this car man.... Love It! I gotta check out how much the lease is :D Oh, and screw those track officials. Complaining about a race car being too loud on the track. wtf!
Never understood that! Like its a race car track. There should be a warning saying naked ears at own risk. It should make your ears bleed, thats part of the experience. I stood right next to 6 70-80's f1s. My ears rang like crazy but thats just part of the experience.
He should do what Chevrolet did while testing the new ZR1 there... add pipes bent 90 degrees to the exhaust, and point them to the left... why? Because the decibel sensors are on the right side of the track. Lol. Chevy basically said "fuck your noise restrictions"...
there is a huge difference, videos never do justice to the reality. type that bloody maserati into your youtube searchbar and have a look on gumbals video about it and ferarri enzo zxx. also a video but shot from outside
I don't understand why they so strict whit this car it's not like u see them all the time, a car whit a homemade exhaust I can see the point but this is factori right?
Misha ! If I will have problem in my couple it will be your fault :/ 2nd time in few days I had to push my " cyka blyat " out of the bed to hear another one screaming more than mine.... You're a GOD !
The decibel limit is ridiculous. I can understand that they don't want hillbillies with Civic fart cans annoying everyone but come on, this is an Italian V12. I heard louder Lamborghinis in Berlin.
139db in the US is nothing...on the streets. At my local road coarse, Roebling Road Raceway, the sound limit is 103db. Exhaust cutouts are a necessity!!!
This is why people race on the street. You bring your "Racecar" (which is street legal, lol) to the track and you get banned for it being too loud...lol I know, there are noise limits on most of the tracks, but how does Ferrari handle this? the FXXK isn´t very less loud lol. Is there any track in the world where you could drive your Zonda R without getting kicked? Fuck this.
Hey, why do they make a problem of it. It's a friggin racetrack, things arent supposed to be quiet there right? What a disappointment to the owner and you.. :D
Holy sh*t!
140dB Threshold of pain, all frequencies
140dB Hearing protection required (definite long term damage)
140dB human throat and vocal cord resonance occurs
141dB Nausea felt after a few minutes
TH-cam doesn't do the noise justice, damn lol.
140dB used in commercial breaks to get viewers attention
Must be so frustrating having to shortshift that beast like it was a diesel ...
Don't feel too bad. Chuck Norris was also black flagged for noise when he took his unicycle on a lap there.
Bringing back Chuck Norris facts big time in 2017. #ChuckNorris #fact
always good to read a chuck norris joke
That thing doesn't need airconditioning, it's cool on it's own :)
Jeez 139db, that's insane lol... Misha, imagine having 139db on the road in the Netherlands, they would lock you up for 10000 years haha
here in Bosnia you get 130db on a daily basis from Golfs Mk. 2 etc with broken exhaust :D
haha tako je druze, jos kad fico ili stojadin se zacuju :D
5rdjo Graphics hahaha
5rdjo Graphics "broken" exhaust ;)
XD
One of the most beautiful and insane engine sounds ever
Not being allowed to rev up to 8k rpm is a violation to human rights and Genevieve treat. Feel sorry for the guy!
R. Pallavidino I want a T-shirt with that written on it! lmao
genevieve XD
How did he even manage to make it road legal in Germany?
a LOT of money and some expertise by edo competition
Omg i remember driving this Maserati with the exact same paint Job in GTR2 on PC when I was like 8
This guy needs a valve system on his exhaust
OOOOOHHHHHHHHH THAT CAR IS JUST OUT OF THIS WORLD
Really hate the noise limit rule it's a fucking race track
to be fair, 140dB is the threshold of pain
Luis velazquez No, nürburgring is public road i think
The nordschleife is for legal reasons a public road and there is an EU wide limit.
Luis velazquez
I think they are strict about it just to stop people coming with all type of inventions that would be noisier than that. My question is: if you were allowed to go as noisy as you could, there would this madness stop? There would always be someone louder.
that is definitely porn, I am going to report this video! sorry man
Because of the modern technology, the Ferrari 458 Speciale has almost the same performances I guess. The vanilla Mc12 and the vanilla 458, has almost the same Ring lap time.

458 has nothing on this car. the only Ferrari that come close are Enzo and FXX
Yeah, and you are Santa Klaus:

The driver looked annoyed at the end of the video, and i understand his frustration. But jeez, 139db, i wouldn't want to be at brünnchen when he passes by full throttle.
Novaldex It's just as loud as a V10 era F1 car!! Those would make you a little nauseated if you weren't wearing proper hearing protection.
Absolutely insane car, and I'm very glad that it exists but aren't your options for experiencing the car as it was meant to be experienced, somewhat limited? I mean, 139dB?! Whole planets have ended with less noise than that.

Totally love the new camera lens
Great respect to the driver for having the discipline to restrain himself from flooring it anyway. Has to be hard with a car like that.
One of a few happy MC12 on the road. The rest of them just sit in the garage.
Mad respect Misha, I'm super jelly!!
I remember it being the same with the Ferrari ZXX Edo also drove on spa francorchamps. It was too loud too. Customer car as well :)
2:04 Why did you remove the G-force indicator wire ? :-D
beautiest car ever
I never really got the argument of a car being to loud it's a race track like really? so beautiful , thank you for sharing
Looks fun :)
My question is where are their decibel meters? time to make them a little quieter :P
I truly understand the noice limits on the streets... but in a track... c-mon... thats dumb.
Epic onboard carmarade!!!
So is there a penalty when black flagged? Did he have to pay a fine? What is the decibel limit on track?Great video as always.
How fun for the driver when upshift but hard for camera balance, diggs into speed and those front wheel arches:d
damnn what a hero for driving it like this...
I'm hoping to see the Sub 7 Up! screaming by.....
The MC12 Versione Corse is hardcore! Pure car love! Sad that it could not be a full throttle lap! The MC12 Versione Corse 139dB, AMG GT Black Series 74dB in full throttle! 😂
Bella sound tutto italiano italian pride
Still cool even if not going flat out. Was reading where they may be putting mufflers on NASCAR cars as well. Probably will eventually. To bad, as a fan of pretty much all motorsports, tracks are where you are supposed to be able to cut loose.
MASERATI MC12 CORSA is one of the best street legal race car of all time 😍
great car & great expierence i think, really crazy that it is "road legal" ^^
Are there any tracks that would allow full throttle?
What an awesome machine
Isn´t the 139dB estimated or exact value (standardised) to be at 1 metre from the exhaust tips or something like that? es la cosa más bonita que hay en este mundo
So, did you said the car cann go full gas on racing track? 🤔
Are the noise limits off when the sanctioned races are held??
He should do what Chevrolet did while testing the new ZR1 there... add pipes bent 90 degrees to the exhaust, and point them to the left... why? Because the decibel sensors are on the right side of the track. Lol. Chevy basically said "fuck your noise restrictions"...
We all noticed that the driver was going too slow for what the car can achieve.
Anatoliy Petrov try to crash a modified mc12 on the ring... :P
Of course, precaution first ^^
Wouldnt be there a TÜV sign on the numberplate if its street legal?
Ring garage video?
In about a week, high on priority list!
maybe a little over 6K towards the end of the lap 😁 but it's music
My R1 was around 180dB, no wonder I dont hear very well right now.
Btw that MC12 is just so satisfying to watch
good moorning booris
wow wow wow ! once in a life time ! to bad for the blackflag....
The nurbugring is a public road so the noise limit is just logical
mooi rondje, toch even doortrekken youtube corner !!, hahaha, zonde dat ie niet voluit mag..
So, is it faster than the 675?
Also, "road legal" but doing 139dB at less then full throttle? :DDDDD
WOW, fucken epic car!!!!
Need to install some quite mufflers n rip it 8000rpm!!!😎👻👍🏼💯
Too loud? What???!!! Is this a rule there?
There is noise restrictions on most race tracks if not all
netmatrix75 on every race track in the world. And Nürburgring has highest limits.
Misha Charoudin hey misha isnt the level different on different days?? i cant imagine that the N24 cars are much quieter??
there is a huge difference, videos never do justice to the reality. type that bloody maserati into your youtube searchbar and have a look on gumbals video about it and ferarri enzo zxx. also a video but shot from outside
I don't understand why they so strict whit this car it's not like u see them all the time, a car whit a homemade exhaust I can see the point but this is factori right?
still fast! i wonder what's it like full throttle :)
surely the owner/Driver must have known there are restrictions on noise at the NÜRBURGRING.
pravesh lollman yep, it was a test drive.
I would comment on what you said afterwards but I can't hear anymore and can't read lips. 👍👍
Hahhah thats fucking nuts! Still road legal, fuck yeah.
this dude drives his ass off
How many mc12’s has EDO Competition fettled with?
Nice
Telemetry would be awesome!
Misha ! If I will have problem in my couple it will be your fault :/
2nd time in few days I had to push my " cyka blyat " out of the bed to hear
another one screaming more than mine.... You're a GOD !
Would have been cool if he was allowed to do one lap full throttle
I don't think track people know how to use dB meter, ask them for proof of calibration
Holy fuck.
I'm sorry Misha! Mc 12 Stradale or not, but watching the Lap was pretty dull, knowing what that Car is capable of.. 😭 what a shame..
fucking loud rulez grrrrrr,,but anyway must be good fun
Imagine what would happen, if he hit the redline.... Hell broke loose ?
The decibel limit is ridiculous. I can understand that they don't want hillbillies with Civic fart cans annoying everyone but come on, this is an Italian V12. I heard louder Lamborghinis in Berlin.
139db in the US is nothing...on the streets. At my local road coarse, Roebling Road Raceway, the sound limit is 103db. Exhaust cutouts are a necessity!!!
car so good its not allowed on any tracks xd
Damn..as you were black flagged after the first lap you should have gone full throttle for the second lap anyway.. =)
I just want to hear it scream at high rpms :( 8:15 I can imagine how amazing this must sound without the curb...
Porn
This is why people race on the street. You bring your "Racecar" (which is street legal, lol) to the track and you get banned for it being too loud...lol

Go on the autobahn and go full trothle with it
You can just go back on the track after getting black flagged? So where is the point, do you even care?
iguana you can get 2 or 3 warnings before a permanent ban.
That makes sense.
What a shame they dont meassure this during Touristenfahren, I would like to know the sound pressure level of my car.
It must suck when a car is road legal but get banned from a racing track... ohhh the irony
Diese Maschine ist so teuer und selten, dass man es langsamer als die grüne Porsche fahren, Sie sind nicht gefangen?)
"Amazing boring lap in a MC12". :D
you got blacked? :p
tunerzvnz once you go black, you never go back on the track.
Hey, why do they make a problem of it. It's a friggin racetrack, things arent supposed to be quiet there right? What a disappointment to the owner and you.. :D
Ha paura di rovinarla.
you get a black flag when car is too loud?
Some cars even get banned, when it's too loud, like the R33 GT-R by TJ-Imports
Luka Sh on every race track in the world
Back flaged because of noise!!! hello!! RACE CAR.. kinda silly not to say ridiculous from my P:O:V......
At 40 seconds you say you go at half throttle because of noise/rules. At 41 seconds i stop watching this video on principle. Sorry.
well the new ford gt with the 6 cylinders won't have this problem :P
Sicuramente avresti potuto guidare meglio. Farsi sorpassare da una Porsche, e non prenderla più, mentre tu guidi una MC 12 Stradale è impensabile...
