- Here is an episode in which I walk through the streets of Paris, rambling about a particular subject. This time the subject is Paris itself. This summer Paris is hosting the Olympic Games. The city will be filled with visitors. I am very curious to see how the city will handle this moment. Will it be a huge success? What will visitors think of the city? Will anyone suffer from the mysterious "Paris Syndrome"? Join me on my walk, follow my words, look out for vocab and consider using my questions for your own speaking practice.

hi Luke, actually when I've been in Paris I found people very unpolite. It seems people dont like tourists. I am from Argentina. exellent idea recording podcast outside❤please do as much as you can.😊😮where is the classy chic people? I don't see any😅( ohhh yes I love Emily in Paris.)jalala . Actually i don't like cities . Buenos Aires is very european style. But I have always live in beautiful landscapes as now in the Andes mountains. Yes go outside please walk and talk show us everything for example how did You rent the bike or how to Buy a ticket for the metro etc simple things that we take for granted

I love this episode that recall the memory of last trip in Paris
I loved the episode! Since it was a Paris walk episode, I decided to watch it on youtube: it felt like a date with Luke! You spoke a little slower than usual, so I took the opportunity to "shadow" your voice, but only for about 15 minutes, because shadowing is very tiring. It was great to see a little of Paris, especially that I've never been to the city, or to France for that matter... Paris reminds me a bit of my home city of Cracow in Poland. (I don't live there anymore: I live near Raleigh, North Carolina in the United States, and sometimes I regret that I left...). The other day I had a thought, rather depressing, that the person who practices their English the most is actually Luke, imagine how much better we all would get if we practiced speaking as much as Luke does... :) One more thing: my fellow listeners, give Luke more likes, don't be lazy, come on!

About this episode I enjoyed the Parisian atmosphere and especially the bike tour, that was exciting for the view of the space around you from the camera, as you say audio and video were of good quality. Having experimented myself the video teaching outside, I can confirm you it's appealing but very distracting, so what I appreciated most is this comment you made after the video. This way, with the rationale about your behaviour and your feelings, makes the lesson really understandable and effective. I love your way of singing too! Hi Luke! I really enjoyed this walk with you in Paris, thanks! You look spontaneous even if you felt self conscious. I like the idea to walk through Paris like a normal person living there and not in a typical touristic way. It’s nice to see you once in a while , but personally, it’s not necessary all the time, so that we can have a subjective point of view and really see the streets while listening to you.
