I'm Christian, my heart hurts whenever anyone of religious faith, regardless of the faith, has an event happen that disrespects their place of worship, such as a horrific event like this is disrespectful to the place of worship as they are meant to be places of peace, not bloodshed.
My church teaches that we are here to love one another, not to judge, regardless of whether or not you agree with the person or their beliefs. There's enough anger in the world, it's time to add some love.

This is true on so many levels. Some people do not want that kind of help even if they may appreciate or need it. It could make them feel guilty for taking it. Thoughts and prayers helped me when I was homeless. Whether my own or someone else's. Prayers helped motivate me to get my life together. It's this weird thing with policing my thoughts just because they themselves don't believe in God.

I never really liked Onison ever since I first learned about him when I was a kid. It’s not because he’s weird or anything but it’s because he seem to be very very immature. Yeah, what exactly are people supposed to do to those who are homeless? Sure, buying them a meal is nice. Money is nice too, but they might buy drugs or alcohol, which might not be the best for them... the only thing that someone could truly do to help I'd welcome the homeless person into their home... but that isn't realistic. Not many people can afford an additional person to help and pay for. So yeah, condolences and hope that they can find a way out is something that some people can do, and that isn't wrong.

I’m from New Zealand. Onision can’t accept that as a country we have gathered together in SUPPORT, rather than hatred.
My dad died a couple months ago (Sept. 25th 2019) and since then we have been struggling financially..like really badly. People were giving us their “thoughts and prayers”. It was comforting. It didn’t put food on the table, but they cared, and that’s all that mattered. Thoughts and prayers are important.

I'm a New Zealander and I have to say that the way our media handled this tragedy was amazing. To this day I do not know the name of the man who commited this because our PM declared that we would not give him what he wanted-- attention, infamy. I had no idea that his manifesto mentioned PewDiePie because we simply did not give that man the time of day. It was all about the victims, the family of the victims and how we as a country were rallying around them.
Edit: the shooter was sentenced this year to life without parole, a first in New Zealand history! Still don't know the fucker's name

thank you for making this video in a sad time, the last few days have been rough. onision is an insensitive bigot, it's actually disgusting that he's tweeting those things, especially in a time like this he's truely toxic, i hope we get his ass of the internet. im not a muslim nor was i injured by it (other than sitting in a school lockdown for 5 1/2 hours and seeing the livestream, having armed police around my entire neighborhood since we lived around 10 minutes away from the mosque) but even then the nice tweets and prayers to our city really just put everyone mentally in a better state, its still pretty traumatising because none of the locals here have ever been in a shooting since new zealand is really safe. if anyone else from christchurch is here, greetings! we will get through this and pray this never happens again.
