Jojo seems down to earth, but I think she is beginning to be corrupted by the people around her. James and Shane are probably telling her the people who canceled them are just jealous haters and not the reason why they were actually canceled in the first place. I don't think Jojo is the type of person who'd keep up with online drama so she blindly believes what her "friends" are telling her as the truth.

I genuinely just believe Jojo is a naïve kid at heart still. I didn't really like the whole faking pregnancy thing- but she really is still only 20. Overall she seems like a very kind and compassionate person, especially in comparison to James. After all her first purchase not only included Coffee for everyone in the shop, but also Included like a 20 dollar tip just for the staff.

This makes me recall something Lily from DWKT podcast said. She rejected the idea of having Jojo on the show (I think it was clever news?)she was working on because Jojo's main audiences were kids/minors and not their show's target audiences. Thus it would be weird to introduce and bring in young audiences to a show with adult topics and discussions.
People like James, Shame and Colleen keep denying about their audiences being young when they did Collabs with Jojo while she was younger. They are still doing things like these to draw in new young audiences. Because the only fans currently left are either young naive ones or adults who are just as horrible as them.

She’s been groomed by these same people for years and feels she owes them maybe not for her career but just because in her youth they were the biggest names she may still view them that way she is very young. These people need to prove they’re safe around kids (jojo is a face kids look for on TH-cam and family’s trust so they’re basically making kids content) and jojo is using them to prove she is adult (they have controversy she doesn’t seem to understand) not to defend her but just to answer the question of why. i can say its really hard to know when to drop someone who is... not good.... when you feel close to them and like you can trust them. when do you walk away? that said.. its not like jojo is actually close to these people. she could choose not to talk to them again and lose basically nothing.
