The 2nd and 3rd kills clearly show how OP they are. and no im not one of those guys that calls everything OP. but this, this is something else. as he said, its basically a guaranteed kill. they dont die from the arrow? you pull. boom dead. I get it, its new, its fun. its temporarty for the event (fopefully) but man, this just shows how the devs dont even do any testing on how abd this could get on the gameplay. maybe atleast put a delay on the pull or like an animation like necro when pulling so theres time for a person to heal or cancel bleed. but obviously they wont do that since its too much work for them
Yeah, or limit the range from 100 meters (!!!) to like 25. This would still help confirm this low distance kills if shot in arm/leg. Still strong, but not like this.

I’m hoping it sticks around and gets integrated with a tenth of the range because it’s really nice but having it basically guarantee kills so far out is a bit ridiculous. Within ten meters it’s basically just be a slightly slower way of killing someone if you miss a one shot which’d be okay methinks
It shouldn't guarantee any kills - if you miss then you miss. Might as well add a trait to remove shotgun pellets with damage so that if you miss a one shot with a shotgun you get a kill.
They should make it to where if there isn’t a clear sight for the the arrow/bolt etc. then it shouldn’t come back. Just to balance it a bit while still being pretty powerful

The game has a rather crooked damage registration system and sometimes a bow from 5 meters to the chest did 124 damage. This perk allows you to see how these weapons should work without random damage numbers (excluding hits to the limbs). Thanks for the video

It's been great fun, but I agree it's overpowered. If they (hopefully) make it a permanent trait, they should add a mechanic in the game where if you get hit with a bolt or arrow if you start stopping the bleed, the arrow cannot be pulled out. Like the shot hunter is holding the arrow whilst dressing the wound and you can't pull it back until they let go or it drops to the floor. It could potentially be separate from stopping bleed, meaning you can 'pull' the arrow out before it can be called back if you're fast enough and then focus on the bleed.

Bow with berserk is enough to get an arm shot at mid range. All you can do once tagged is maybe jump into cover and hope that you can get revived. If this trait was to be added permanently, it should come with reduced range and pullout damage.

That last kill shows how stupid lightfoot is for solos right now. I would have been frustrated to die because someone can silently rotate me. Good gameplay overall though!

Dude, God forbid you combine this with Berserker. Retrieving the arrows out of bodies counts as melee, so berserker DOUBLES the pull-out damage, which GUARANTEES a kill no matter where you initially tagged them

I had to go back and rewatch. The guy he killed at 4:01 with the bow is standing up from being revived and gets tagged by that uppercut shot. He's just very difficult to see in the video.
“They don’t do any testing” is a weird comment because it seems obvious to me that event perks are a form of testing, just democratized to player feedback and preferences over time to see what works for the player base and what doesn’t. Like obviously they tested this beforehand, knew it was very strong, and wanted the players to try it before they changed it or implemented it in this state. Lots of event perks have been pretty much intentionally overturned and I would treat as experimental features. I think it kinda sucks that you are forced to play with them but it also makes for a good change of pace.
True, and COD Warzone taught me how much of this is OP newness is intentional to get people to buy the battle pass. In this case, the new multi-crossbow is a ways in there. Buying that more expensive battlepass would logically give a temp advantage. I'm sure that's another part of it.

I'm still completing my crossbow prestiege and this perk feels soooooooooooooo good. But unfortunately it got me to 6 stars where there is a sniper in every bush camping near every compound so we are the first to find and kill the boss in every and I mean EVERY game. Now we just sit in the first location and wait for someone to banish the boss and there was one game where it took 30 minutes, there were almost no gunfire no explosions for almost half an hour and when we finnaly got to the boss lair one of us got fucking sniped from who the fuck knows who somewhere behind us. I WANT BACK TO 3-4 STARS LOBBIES WHERE THE GAME IS FUN
Crack shot perk probably, once you get blademaster you can pledge once more (costs 3 tokens) and it drastically reduces spread when not ADSing, including when dual wilding and fanning/levering
yeah, its a permanent trait now, its 4 points and allows you to crouch walk a little faster too (though they fixed the bug that let you run faster as well)
