@ most of us are. After I watched this I did a quick search here on TH-cam and saw that this was quite old and the gorilla he was trying to find family of died a few years ago. There’s a picture of the two of them in the last moments.
I live in Iowa - in the United States - dealing with all of the political turmoil here - I was in search of something like this to bring a smile to my heart. You, Bama, are a very rare and special human being. It is so important that this world has people like you who make this their life's work - and as a fellow human on this planet - I thank you for doing what so few have the chance to do. Helping to educate and, ultimately, save these wonderful creatures is beyond extraordinary. From across the world.........THANK YOU. WE ARE WATCHING AND ARE SO HONORED THAT YOU SHARED THIS WITH US.
Thank you Bama, thank you all gorillas protectors!!! We should respect and protect our closest ancestors like we protect our own family. Bcs they are our relatives , they have feelings, fear , depression and we are the ones to provoque these feelings on them...unfortunately.
Oh my goodness. Bama’s look of joy when he saw the female gorillas in the tree brought tears to my eyes. There’s nothing like seeing that type of joy in the eyes of a person. It is child-like joy. The world needs more people like Bama. Genuine, caring-thank you, Bama. Thank you to the makers of this film for sharing Bama, the gorillas, and the beautiful part of this world. ❤
These men are incredibly fit. I have friends on the island of Papua, melanasia, who can walk all day in the forest and into the highands, in high humidity. Women too, who walk down to their gardens in the lowlands. They work for several hours and walk back up to their villages, carrying produce. I have deep respect for these women. Amazing
Amazing documentary. I've never heard of cross river gorillas before. The relationship between the man and the female gorilla is so heartening. It's so sad what happened to her as a baby. These gorilla's just look so peaceful in the trees. Conservation and awareness is so key.
Bama this was an amazing journey you took is on and your face when you saw the gorillas was pure joy and emotion, lots of love to you my friend from an old Scottish lady 💖💖💖
Such a beautiful story. I love all wildlife. They don't deserve all the bad, people should stop being so greedy and taking their homes, and children. I pray that God stops the poachers and land theirs. Bless all the animals and people trying to help them. ❤
Alfred Bama, you are a real life hero. Thank you for your hard work and love for the gorillas. You do deserve all our respect, gratitude, and admiration. Bless your heart!! Your heart of gold is pure inspiration. Animals' lives truly matter.
Wow , thank you for caring for these beautiful gorillas. Your love for these gorillas are so evident in your actions and deeds. We need to protect these animals for the future generations...well done and all the best from South Africa 🇿🇦
I like this video we must protect the Cross River Gorilla! - it is so encouraging to see Alfred B having a close relationship with this only Cross River gorilla🦍👍🏿
Wow what an amazing documentary. Absolutely blown away by his dedication for these amazing animals. Watching them just sit with their arms around Bama is truly touching to watch.🙏
This truly hurts my heart. Those poor animals. I think we humans forget that animals have feelings also. Imagine your home just up in flames. I have always wished I could save the forests. They are magical especially with the wildlife that live there.
This was an awesome and beatuful story. We love our animal friends and they grow to love us too. Thank you Bama, for your care and devotion to Yango. You looked so happy when you found her relatives. God blees
Play is dangerous they are so many times stronger and the human body is very fragile and doesn’t provide much protection against anything. He’s braver than I would be and that’s on him.
This was so beautiful and poignant to watch. Your connection with the gorillas touches my heart. They love you so much ❤. I am glad that the gorilla family has you looking after them. May the good Lord bless you in your work. ♥️🇨🇦
I live in Canada and never seen one live. It's very interesting to see that all over the earth is a human taking care of and helping the creature's to continue to be able to live with out disappearing.❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉
Thank you Bama for your example as a human being and your love for nature protection. I hope the villagers find more sustainable alternatives of agroforestry. I am sure you are inspiring a lot of people around the world. I hope you find a wife as amazing as your friend.
It is so amazing that there are people in this world that care for and love the wild lifelike their own family members💖it really warms my heart to see the amount of time and dedication that these remarkable men give to the cause. The world needs more people like them.💖🙏👍
I wish someone could bring this young man to visit the US and talk to young school kids, the future of the world, that we are all united. We need to work together to save the planet.
I love love love this video so much. Bama is a rare individual who loves and understands these magnificent creatures. This video was educational, loving, and relaxing.
Absolutely, he is putting himself in serious danger for no real reason. Also him trying to touch the new born gorilla and the mother repeatedly pushing him away makes me think he’s not being respectful of their space and behavior
@ndoyisilemogale6855 No. Its nowhere near as dangerous as things people do. Many types of sports, and work activities have more risks. What you are doing is making assumptions that have no basis in reality. Do you have brothers or sisters & did you rough house with them? Did you or any of your siblings or cousins get a broken bone or a concussion from *playing* ?? For most people the answer is yes. That man has been doing this for many years, he has known these gorillas since they were babies & he knows their strength & whether or not he can withstand playing with them. A person who doesn't have his experience with them could be hurt, but this man is as safe with them as he is with his own family.
Freeze it at 4:07. Incredible moment. In .5 seconds either ape could kill this man- yet they love him and value him and welcome him into their precious new family.
Thankyou 👏🙏❤️ for this video and for all the hard work you do to protect these magnificent animals. Only we , man , are going to destroy them with our greed . Not the local people who must make a living but the big western countries that only care about profit. We all can do more to protect them. Thankyou for sharing this with us all 🙏❤️🙏❤️
The more you watch this type of passionate interactions between carrying humans and animals the more it fills me with great admiration for these angels and utter disgust for those monsters who ill-treat or kill animals for pure egotistical reasons (pleasure hunting spots, poaching, or "witchcraft"). 😢
Playing like that is risky; they're incredibly strong, and the human body is fragile with little natural protection. He’s braver than I would be, but that’s his choice.
Amazing people and wonderful man!! A true Hero!! I am very sad that historically Great Britain and America being the cause of this reality that depleted so much of Africa of human beings and of resources this stain has contributed to this cause and effect yet these people are truly resilient and so many wonderful souls
This is beautiful yet horrifying. When I hear about western counties arriving to take resources I am horrified. I’m from the States. There’s no reason for this. There is nothing there that we need to survive here. I’m so sad about this. I’m so sorry.
I wish we all can live respect each other. Always, some people want to dominate others, invade others territory, deny other people ……. He looks so happy to live in his surroundings. No iPad, no cars, etc. however, he has job he truly enjoy, friends etc. How come humans aresooo greedy and destructive? Look at our society now.
Bless you for taking care of our brethren- I think people forget these are our ancestors- we’ve gotten too far away from seeing ourselves as animals, when all around us we act out in ways that are similar- too include not taking care of our planet in ways that contribute to its survival of all creatures. I thank the people working hard to bring some balance back to what we as humans have destroyed! As stated already we all could use some compassion- it’s great here to see if we look hard enough we find it all around us- there is so much hope in the world right now- look around people are upset every where about the current evironment and themes within government- I see it as a positive because it’s a call to action- if you’re upset do something- do not sit there n your hands and just worry- be part of the solution and scream your perspective loudly from the rooftops!! Come on USA we can do better, don’t look here for hope, be the hope you want to find!!!😅
A verry good docu ! ! ! Mankind's greedy have no limits . In fact the world would be a better place if there where much less humans ! Only humans with a healty mindset ! ! It dosnt look realistic a man is going on a unknown journy with a small backpakidge 🙂. Also great respect for the camera men who filmed this all, the had to walk with all there gear. Great work guys , maybe thanks to you my childeren still can see gorillas in the wild . And annywhone who hunts gorilla's should spend 20 years in jail .
As an American I watch things like this and feel we often times have the wrong idea of what and who a hero really is. Bama is a hero in my eyes!
yes he is..I wish I could help him.. I'm so lazy in my comfortable life
@ most of us are. After I watched this I did a quick search here on TH-cam and saw that this was quite old and the gorilla he was trying to find family of died a few years ago. There’s a picture of the two of them in the last moments.
Your so state blind

The world is celebrating.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I'm old enough to remember when it wasn't "turmoil" every election. We accepted the winner and moved on with our lives.
Ha ha ! Wrestling just like siblings . ❤
Yes, the US has become disgusting with the political climate from both sides.

That is how many Africans live & survive, to us it’s normal.
You make me proud. Anyone who loves and cares for our relatives is so wonderful. Thank you for sharing; you made my heart smile.

When we love gorilas, looking them close, watching their behavior at a distant is more than full filling. I can understand his emotion. We must care!

Yes, Bama is a playful hero:) One thing that impresses me is the beauty of Cameroon people. Physically
Man kind loves to destroy the great things around use.
