ASSASSIN'S CREED MIRAGE GAME MOVIE: • ASSASSIN'S CREED MIRAG...
Freedom Cry is a single-player downloadable content addition for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
While attempting to intercept Templar activities in the Caribbean Sea, Adéwalé is shipwrecked off the coast of Haiti. Making his way into Port-au-Prince, he establishes that the Templars are working with Bastienne Josèphe, the proprietor of a local brothel and a sympathizer to the Maroons, a faction of freedom fighters made up of liberated slaves led by Augustin Dieufort. Despite his obligations to the Brotherhood of Assassins, Adéwalé becomes sympathetic to their cause, and joins with the Maroons in hijacking a vessel, the Experto Crede, in order to interrupt the slave trade.
We've done this one before, but just wanted to update it since our quality was horrible back then and it was free on Xbox Live. We hope you enjoy!

@@619jc9To be honest, they are comparable. But Adewale takes longer. He slits throats, and hits people with the pommel of his blade.
Though Conner is brutal, I do not believe he blames the colonists, nor the soldiers he fights. He is brutal, but quick.
Adewale however, as he has said, he was born a slave from his first breath. And in his standalone dlc/game, he pretty much exclusively fights slave traders and keepers, save a few soldiers here and there. Of course he would be more brutal, why wouldn’t you hate the very symbol of chains and oppressors of your people?
Then again, I see some similarities with a few animations in combat between Adewale and Conner. Just an interesting thing to note.

It took the greatest Assassin hunter in the series to take him down. He died honorably and dedicated to the cause. I think it was a good death

As a Haitian American, this is probably the most realistic Assassin Creed game out there. As much as I'd wish for my fellow Haitian people (native and desendents) to tell the history themselves, this is good enough. Enough for me to be proud of my family's culture it brought me almost to tears.

It didn't do them "wrong" in a storytelling standpoint as the Tragedy of their end is what MAKES the story so phenomenal and so fantastic in EVERY way!
That's why Connor was the ultimate redeemer and brought honor back to the Henway bollodline be defeating and killing Haytham and having Shay run scared out of America (and its implied Connor eventually got to him and killed him.

Edward Kenway trusted and accepted Adéwalé, and it wasn’t all about Plunder, he also hated Templars and he got better eventually
Adewale also HELPED Edward become a better man as they both left behind being thieving pirates together and they became Assassins to help people and stop evil. So they're VERY close friends entirely.
Adewale always had an urgency about him that made you respect his character.
What kills me is knowing our JackDaw is rotting away under the sea.

This is just a standalone DLC. It's not a full developed title, it's just AC4 with a different story, certain locations and more. This is because of the fact that it is a standalone DLC.
They didn't make the game "in a week", it's just a shorter DLC game towards the story of Adewale and it's a GREAT game that's made as a whole for things to do in other AC games entirely so, you're not making ANY sense here at all.

When people point out my issues with AC: Shadows, they seem to get really quiet when I acknowledge Adewale as the best of the Assassins and Freedom Cry as one of the best games. It gave genuine respect to the history of its time period, and Ade was just a cool dude.

Man, Ubisoft missed on a big opportunity to use Adewale’s name for some fat profit. There is little media, and even fewer games, tackling the subject of slavery and the slave trade. Even Black Flag, which takes place in one of the biggest hubs of the slave trade, only pays lip service. I’m glad we have this dlc at all. But man, they missed on a big market, and a bigger paycheck, not cashing out Adewale’s name. Then again, this is before diversity quotas, and before AAA companies realized they didn’t even have to TRY to make compelling games to make money. So, I’ll just suffice with being glad for Freedom Cry’s existence.

The use of the word maroon is in reference to the Haitian Revolution. In Haitian history, maroons were a group of people who fled slavery by escaping to the mountains and forming settlements there. They later on played a major part in the abolition of slavery in Haiti during the Haitian Revolution as they used their knowledge of plants and terrain as a tool against the French.
