I've been married for 10 years, separated for more than 1 year now. It's very difficult to learn to live without the person you thought you would grow old together with. The thought of her makes a knot in my throat and my stomach sick. I pray that God uses time to mold me and build my character to the man He wants me to be and gives me the strength, wisdom and patience I need to go on. Please help me with your prayers.

i’m in the very same situation as you. i sit in work right now infront of my computer crying my eyes out. i have a one year old with him. i’ve been abused. i pray that he will change. but i don’t know what God’s will is. the pain is unbearable at time. i just pray he will fight for me. if not, i don’t know what the future with hold. oh God take control .. hope your okay derek?
I am so thrilled to hear this on prayer, you have no idea how much I needed to hear this. My prayer for my Wife is that God would give her what she needs and that I would know and give her what she needs from me. We have been separated almost four years now. She does things every now and then that let's me know that she cares. I had my days where I could pray that she'd wake up with purple hair and that her drawers would never fit but loving her through it is so much better. God has so much to work with in her and that's a blessing. Focusing on allowing God to work in me while praying for her.

I am transformed and renewed.
It seems sometimes God's will is not what we desire, so is hard to accept this. I am struggling now with my faith and accepting that God might have another plan for me.
God doesn't impose on someone's free will, and a "hardened" heart. He is clear that divorce is the RESULT of a HARD HEART.. a heart choosing their way over God's, and an unforgiving heart.

I feel like God told me that my husband can and will come around. What makes me nervous is whether or not I know and am primed well enough to do my part. May God bless me to play my part well and continue to pour into my dear husband however He is pouring into him.
I really like what this video hit on, and will help me during this time of my separation from my husband. But, nowhere in the bible does it permit remarriage. I have been searching and searching in the bible and researching online, and God did not say we have the okay to remarry. He says, either remain single, or reconcile; those are our only 2 choices. Trust me, I'm not saying this to debate, because I wish it were not so, because it seems unfair to the spouse that is actually trying to fight for the marriage. And if the other spouse decides never to come back, then the spouse that wants their marriage is left to be alone. He hates divorce, but allows for separation because of hard hearts, but never once he mentions remarriage.

I pray God will repair me so I become more attractive to my husband.
I dont want to boast but in my current situation with my wife there was another in the picture for a day, nothing happened but coffee and I prayed and prayed for God to cutt off all paths and all forms of communication between the 2, and at times out of anger, but rejoiced and gave thanks to God because my wife God angry at me thinking I talked to the other person though I had no idea who it was , but she said that he just disappeared and had not messaged her back at all and ignored her since the day of coffee. And I thank God every day for continued blockages it's been 5 weeks now and every day our situation gets better...
With all due respect...I generally like Dr. Beam's work...but hold on...We pray for something...but God doesn't answer the way we want, because he knows what is best for us because he has a plan for us...and the reason he doesn't answer our prayer the way we want, is so we can have free will, because he has a plan for us that we don't know about? That really doesn't sound like free will to me. And as an aside, if the last 10 years of loneliness, despair, depression, destruction of my family relationships, and related health problems and income struggles after my wife left have been the best thing for me, then I'm glad I don't know what the worst thing for me is.

For me there’s only one solution and that God will soften my wife’s heart, bring her out of her new age spiritual ways and joins us together because I cannot live with another plan of being seperated of my beloved God given wife and my children. Personally I think God is often allowing way to much pain in the hearts of his children. I really really feel abandoned by God

I was all set on calling my husband and laying out my case (again) but I stopped to watch this video.... 10 minutes in he actually called me to discuss his work and how busy he had been. I didn’t push the conversation into “heavy” topics but just had a “normal” interaction. It felt so good! I put aside my agenda and just enjoyed that we talked for a few minutes. Thank you for all the videos you all put out! When I’m feeling discouraged or anxious I watch and take in your advice. Let him go because do you really want someone that isn’t willing to put in the effort or want to love you? Not saying it is your fault; I’m just sharing the advice I was given. If someone is carnal, selfish and not in Christ, no amount of bargaining, negotiating or pleading that will bring them back to you or be genuinely Christ-led. I am sorry for what you are going through and God promises all works out for our good. Even the evil thrown our way.

Anyone else just wanna get a nice grandpa hug from Joe Beam? He just seems like such a nice, safe father figure type that I wish I could have been mentored by 15 years ago early in my marriage.
How about prayer for a family when you've never had one. Wondering if I am to pray after 30 yrs. Used to beg. No answer. Just desolation. By the way I'm smart well educated well mannered pretty by any standards and easy to get along with. My issue is I wont marry a man who drinks smokes fornicate swears or lives idolatrously. I'm talking about my experiences w Christian men. ( not a man hater just stating my experiences)

I dont know what you should do either. But shurly invest in biblestudies and prayer( fasting if you want to fight) invest in yourself and your relationship with God, be ready for what ever God has for you, ask God to prepare you for His Kingdom 😊😊😊🌸🌸🌸🙏🙏🙏 I will pray for you 🙋♀️
What about God working on my heart? I keep asking him to change my heart to clear my heart to take away my resentment for years and years of Sexless marriage. My husband is changing we are still together. We are crying. I am crying more because I was in limerence with a man for a month. I made the choice to cut him off.

I feel in my heart that God will help my husband to see how foolish that he has been .I try to show him how foolish that he has been not listening to me and doing the thing that he wanted to not doing the right thing make things right of what is in your memory she would have said something to you of why she was leaving you change what she said and find away to change it either about you or about something some times it is a bitter pile of what you would have to swallow but it can help.

He does answer your prayers. I think the confusion comes when people ask the wrong question. Most of the time, i believe what they really mean is "Why hasn't God given me the answer I was
looking for? The hard thing for people to
accept is that most often, I believe the answer we're given by God is "wait".

We even waited till after we were married, to honor God, to have sex....and it has been miserable from the start to 10 pluss years out, praying my butt off, and only silence....life is torture...

Prayer is for us (like forgiveness), not for someone else. I hear you, I was in the same headspace. In the Lord’s Prayer we pray “God’s will be done”. Pray for your own peace and joy. When we pray for our enemies and bless not curse them, it actually heals and protects us from bitterness and developing a hard heart or block the Holy Spirit.
@@2780-l2k Sure prayer is for us, but why shouldn't it be for anyone else? That makes no sense at all. Why does Paul ask the Romans to pray for him so that God would protect him from the ones in Jerusalem? If God does not intervene in human affairs and the actions of others this prayer is literally useless. Why do we pray for kings and those in authorities... and the list goes on. What you wrote literally makes no sense. Unless, of course I understood you wrong.

Oh God thank you!!!! You brought me here! I was hesitant at first to subscribe because i want God to be involved in everything i do and i couldn't find a video in your videos that spoke about God but i was wrong.
Never thought I of all people would post this here. But, if you see this please pray for my wife & I. We had a big fight about 5 wks ago and she took our baby and my stepson to her mamas with her. She won’t talk barely responded to texts & im not even getting to see our child regularly now. Her mother wants to control things and my wife get out of even discussing anything. She went on a tear separating accounts, cost me my health insurance and a lot of money which I don’t care. I regret many things that I said but I regret missing some signals she was letting me know it was bound to happen sooner or later. I just want a chance to do better by her and for God. I was who witnessed to her when she got saved. We backslid and fell outta church and I was wrong for letting my walk with him fail. Thanks guys and have a good Godly day. These people are right it’s God first husband and wife next then down the line

Sorry you were hurt and had tender emotion. I know that the pain from another that you cared for is the most painful.
But the hurt from another human and the wait that you were going through and even the education you got on behavior doesn’t mean that there isn’t a creator and that he doesn’t love you. There is and He does.

I'm praying so much and so hard. I allowed my family to destroy my marriage. I failed miserably to protect my wife and stand by her side against my family. She told me she has NEVER been hurt like that before. She said she doesn't even see me as a husband and that we are just friends. We live separate lives at home like we are roommates. She's doesn't turn to me for anything. She relies on herself, her family and her friends (males included) on the streets for anything her goes through. She is so cold towards me but can flip a switch in a second to laugh and smile with someone else when they approach and flip back to being cold towards me as soon as they walk away. My wife used to worship the ground I walked on and I screwed that up! She's a dead woman walking when we are together. I just want my loving and caring wife back! Great message but I’m starting to loose hope in God. I’m convinced he gave my wife 22 years ago, she gave her life to Jesus and for sure we have Godly children but 2 years ago she fell in love with another man and started with spiritual things. Now she’s pushing divorce. God can also change kings hearts and I heard he did it with other prodigal spouses but it looks like he refuses although I’m praying so hard but now I have no tears left. If Jesus is my friend why is he allowing this and not taking away the love for my wife. I’m really at the point of stop praying and trusting in God because he also didn’t blessed me with my business for about 30 years

Praying for you brother.. As sure as you are still alive today God does love you and your spouse.. The enemy is having his way in your spouse but God sees all and if and when your wife will listen to God then her heart will repent.. The hardest thing we can do as men is start to work on self while the heart aches continue to pull us down.. Stand my brother regardless and God will reward you.. It's ok to be mad at God He can take it but as you are upset with Him be honest and open your heart to also listen to what He says to your spirit.. Love is free will. Love you brother shine your light so your children and others will see God in you and continue to good while you wait. Stay strong bro you're not alone!
What about a spouse that says they have prayed to God about whether they should stay in the marriage, but haven't heard anything from God whether to stay or go? Or that the spouse believes the marriage isn't a covenant relationship because the whole marriage is a sham and I broke our covenant (was unfaithful), and therefore the marriage isn't valid in God's eyes?

The same things happened to me, my wive is leaving me. She asked God if she should stay and God stayed silent (Its obvious in the Bible, so why would he respond? You don't ask God to rob a store if He is ok with it, right?). Six months into the seperation I was unfaithful (didnt want to, cause I was and am still fighting). But I got the same explanations. That we weren't made for each other and God didn't want us to get married in the first place. Those feelings/lies don't come from God. Marriage is the most closest thing to heaven on earth, because its Gods Nature. He made it, and everything that is valuable to God, Satan attacks.
My advice, keep close to God, repent from your mistakes/sins if you havent done allready. Through God I can love my wive still, while she ignores me, treats me like garbage, and put all the blame on me. God strengthens me to be Patiente, Loving and strong for her and the kids.
God is fighting for you, if you keep true to Him! Don't give up on God or your marriage, but if you have to choose, choose God!!

If you read the Bible, that’s a good place for God to talk to you and answer some prayers. I kept asking the same thing to God and he kept telling me in scripture to not be afraid because my God will fight for me. I took this as an answer to stay and wait for my God to keep working. Now my husband and I are different better people and are back together. The Lord is Great. Technically, if your spouse wants to leave because you were unfaithful, he can according to scripture. It does not mean your marriage was a scam. But scripture gives him the way out if he wants. But God never is ok with divorce. If there’s a chance to save your marriage, God wants you to fix it.

Sometimes I wish he wasn't real but he is and you know in your heart he is, my friend. Otherwise you wouldn't even have an opinion about him one way or the other.
