46 The Lanark Mine - The Canadian Pacific Railway's Mountain Subdivision

Trainz, a virtual model railroad simulator, is used to present the Golden Age of the Canadian Pacific Railway, the years of construction, 1881 and 1885, and the decade or two that followed. This historical fiction combines facts about the railway with undocumented locales of the time that can now only be imagined.
The Lanark Mine entrance was 2,600 above Laurie on the Canadian Pacific Railway’s main line. A concentrator building was located next to the tracks.
