About Brazil for me, it's too late dog, my pronunciation, grammar and all about portuguese is awful, I'll never be able to learn Portuguese, that's so hard to me

Kong King i’m agree with you, i’m italian and i have studied spanish since 2016. I understand something but a lot of things are different, for example the phonetic
I speak Spanish, and I didn't realize how much Brazil Portugese I already know-numbers, for example. But as always with a foreign language, you have to immerse yourself in the language and the culture to appreciate and understand the subtleties and manners of speaking.
The pronunciation is of course different so that is what I want to learn.
Im learning Spanish and im not that bad at it but this is very easy to learn
I'm Brazilian but I feel so familiar with Spanish that I can understand what they say without having to learn Spanish.

I'm an IT Consultant and one of our client is in Brazil. I need to use google translate most of time since they are using Portuguese. Also, they pronounced Brazil as Braziw. 😁

Yes Portuguese does have a similarity to Spanish but when listening to complete sentences in Portuguese either Brazilian Portuguese or european Portuguese you might want to start from scratch and learn it well to understand it well like I did.

The only reason I can understand some of this is because I read spanish at an intermediate level and some words are similar. One day I hope Portuguese will click for me!

English/Spanish speaker here, I'm wondering if it's a bad idea to learn portuguesa. Although I'm fluent, Spanish is my second language and I'm worried I will begin to confuse the two when learning portuguesa. Should I learn it or no? I am interested but I do not want to damage my Spanish I guess
Learn it, for sure! I'll give you the example of a student with the same profile as yours.
As he has English and Portuguese, learning Portuguese was much easier and faster.
In pronunciation, for example, there are sounds that exist in English that do not exist in Spanish and vice versa. In less than a year he achieved level B1 ... Incredible!
Of course, in the beginning cognates and verbal conjugation are a bit confusing, but over time, with practice this ends up becoming a big advantage. In short.. learn Portuguese, you will be enchanted with my language and culture.

I suppose if I continue practicing Spanish and Portuguese separately then I should be able to maintain them both without confusing pronunciation since they're so similar. There aren't many ways for me to practice speaking as the nobody I know speaks Portuguese but I can overcome that challenge! I appreciate the video and response, thanks!

eu falo Portugues então eu tenho propriedade para te falar: sua pronuncia está incorreta: você pronunciou éftãr, ou invés de æftər, alem disso você está exagerando na proprias vogais do Portugues. Tenho certeza que não é assim que você fala. Você tem que falar da forma mais natural possivel como você fala no dia dia para não confundir a cabeça dos gringos. Que vão acabar exagerando Nas silabas achando que esta correto
