I am allways pleased to watch the BBC when remembering someone famous who has died. In this instance nothing but respect for these few minuites of remembering Cruyff. He would have loved it , specially the playfull demonstation of his signature turn at the end. As he said "first you have to enjoy yourself playing, to become good"....

He hated that kind of jobs. He never wanted to be the next President of the Uefa or Fifa. Even being the director of Ajax or Barcelona was far from his ambition. Just an advisor kind of role who comes by every now and then and leave when he wants too could be an option. Besides that, the last 10-15years he was much more involved with his foundation, wich was far more important for him. About the smoking, we will never know what had happened if he didn’t touch any cigarettes. A lot of people who never smoked, died of that terrible disease also. Or other way around, for example Keith Richards. He smoked like a gun, he drank alcohol as it was water and used drugs like it was a peace of cake served with coffee. And he is still here. So that won’t be any kind of guarantee.
Along with Pele and Maradona, Cruyff was the greatest to grace the game.
