Lol I hear ya.. I’ve got so many damn decoys, yet my go-to spread in November is usually just 3 spoons.. that’s it.
My buddy’s prone to slipping Cooter the fully flocked Coot into my decoy bag, but that’s as far as I’ll go with confidence decoys. I’m definitely curious to see if there’s a noticeable change with having those swans out there.
Swans are a blast to hunt. We do have a lot of ducks come into the spreads when hunting swans. I'm sure they will help a ton. I've painted a few old goose decoys into swan decoys. Mixing them in the middle of the spread has worked well for me.

I swan hunt in fields in NC. LOVE IT!!! Tons of fun and it’s crazy how loud they are as they fly over your head.

Swans are great confidence birds. We have a ton of trumpeters in my area and actually have nesting pairs on our slough we hunt. The cygnets will hang around until freeze up. Pretty crazy ad they dont care about gunfire or the dogs on retrieves.

I use 2 of them if I have my tundra tag. The most I’ve pulled were a group of 10. Very interesting watching them work

Don`t have any Swans around here but as a Confidence Decoy I will use a Big Blue Heron we have plenty of them here . Thanks Matt enjoyed it

Can't wait to see you chase some swans with them someday! Until then I think you take the award for the heaviest confidence decoys in the marsh 😂

I run 6 swan floaters just about every day I hunt the Pamlico sound in NC, awesome confidence decoys for divers and give you a lot more visibility

Been thinking of doing this. One of the public lakes I hunt, it’s nothing to see 2 dozen ducks buzzing around a group of 2-4 swans

Like someone else already said just set them off to the side. Another thing you can do, if you have egrets in your area, is put them in the edge of marsh grass where they are partially hidden. Looks like a big egret standing in there from a distance.
I can't wait to try them in my spread. No egrets here unfortunately
We used to run one for our diver spread I liked to keep it just off to the left of the spread. Enough for the ducks to see it but also so it's not off putting. Very hard to keep white tho 😅
Might need to coat it with something in that case
Thats very cool I have thought about using swans as confidence decoys but never have. I think it's funny they used the honker decoy as a base. I bought some snow goose decoys from higdon one time when they did that worst purchase ever they did look like Swans but were supposed to be snow geese.
😂 Whatever they can do to save some money here and there.
