@@mygastricsleevejourney3944 I'm just starting out with it all, guess I have a few months before surgery, and trying to learn everything I can about it. having ASD helps with that..lol your videos are helping me with that.
I had the SADI on July 22,2021 I have had such a hard time trying to keep anything down at first. This is my 6th week since surgery and doing better. Question for you please forgive me for this question but when I go poop there’s always grease in my toilet. I also had my gallbladder removed several years before my surgery. Has this happened to you I have you heard it happening to anyone else? And thanks so much for your videos I get to watch them and learn so much I really appreciate you.
Reason 5,001 why not to have this surgery done. I’m over being “scared” to eat this isn’t natural I’m beating myself up for not getting therapy or whatever. Sure it will be nice to lose weight faster but they didn’t fix my hernia so there’s that. They should have pushed me to have hit the treadmill and then just fixed my hernia. I didn’t start to over eat so much until I had this hernia.
You look fantastic as always & even slimmer! Yay! I have my final surgeon appointment next week 🤞🏻hoping to have a date soon!! I just uploaded my 2nd video 😁
Congrats on hitting over 60 lbs! You look great! I am one week postop and am really getting hit hard with head hunger watching my family eat food while I’m on liquids. One more week until I can eat soft foods. What were your fave soft foods?
Congrats on one week!!! I totally remember the “head hunger” phase. I loved macaroni and cheese, mashed sweet potatoes, and grits when I was on the soft diet. The calories and carb/protein count isn’t as big of a deal at that point because you really can only eat teensy amounts, so find some things you enjoy! 💕 Keep me updated!
Hi, I am having GSV in two weeks. I also take depression medication. Were you able to take your medicine right after surgery? My medicine is a capsule and I am concerned it will cause problems with my sleeve.
I took my meds as normal before and after surgery. Mine are in regular pill form though. You may have to open the capsule and pour the medicine onto something like applesauce. I’d take the meds with you and show your doctor/nurses and see what they say! ☺️ Good luck!
Thank you. You are most informative. August 4 surgery date ! Excited!
Congratulations on your progress! I had sleeve surgery 13 months ago and reached my goal a few weeks ago. 112 pounds down 🤩
