Bonus Tip - There are 2 Hazmat Suit Lockers in the Big Room that is a Guaranteed 8 to 10K extra gold so an average lock picker that looks for all Graphite Spawns can earn an average of 30 - 40 K per run.
Well one tip i can give for those who are not that good at lockpicking is that you can force open the uranium lockers with a crowbar but at the cost of damaging the contents a bit and also the suit so make sure to have duct tape to repair the suit and toolboxes to repair the crowbars
Bad-to-the-bone @Luthais!! Wish I can give more thumbs up!! Very concise and educational/helpful video for first-time powerplant players and beginners! I'm constantly learning new things from you! Glad to have found your channel and be a part of the community and support your dream! Cheers brotha!
As someone who is new to the Scum game, your videos are a very good guide for me. I also like your explanation and playing style. Good luck. Greetings from Turkiye
Official Hardcore is interesting, puppets respawn in few seconds as you pass through so better come prepared and in silence. You can now use crowbars to open the chests, but you need to bring 3 crowbars for two chests and have some durability left to fix them. Graphite is new thing I didn't know about. Thanks Luthais!
I just discovered SCUM maybe a week ago and got hooked instantly. I wish I had come across this video of yours a couple of days ago as it would have saved me some time. I was exploring and was using the little boat and didn't know that was a nuclear power plant with radiation that I went by. I'm familiar with how all of the shit with radiation would work IRL but didn't know how much detail the game had and didn't know that each item in each item slot could potentially have radiation causing the radiation to not go away but fortunately I figured that out before it got past C2 and got that sorted out without dying. I've been playing single player to learn the game but so far my only death was drowning when I jumped off of the boat. I'm guessing too much weight affects swimming in the game? Eventually I'll look to play online and some PVP but currently just exploring and enjoying the experience for now.
Hi, I noticed there is no need to Wash All to get ride of radiation from washable items, it depends how radiated item is, sometimes 3 times wash is enough - safe your soap :) Thanks for this amazing guide.
Meeeeeeep meeeeep meeeeeeep ... i feel everybody in the whole nuclear power plant could hear you coming with that loud motorcycle 😂 *Thumbs up, nice guide.* I have registered 3 unrealistic funny facts: If you loot an radiated apple into your suit: 1.} the radiated apple will not radiate you, even you and the apple "breathe the same air" ^^ 2.} After a while, maybe 10-15 minutes, the radiated apple lose its radiated state. So the apple de-radiate after time. If you leave the radiation-zone, you can eat this (no longer radiated) apple like normal :) 3.} In real *6 Sievert* (Sv) is already the deadly dose, without hope to survive. You had 4 Sv, what in reality still means a 80% chance of death. So there is a little lack of realism, but it makes fun :D PS: I know one another pile for graphite, outside of the nuclear plant. If you come from southeast, head to the closest crane. After the crane go left over some metal-stripes. Then there is one pile near a truck :) I recommend the RPK with Vampyr-Scope and AK15-Silencer. It is a good combination of much ammo in magazine (75/76 rounds) and a nightvision-scope 😉
If they made the game realistic as real life then I'd imagine not many people would continue to play it especially when in real life it could take a long time to recover from radiation exposure which wouldn't really make for a fun and entertaining game. One thing I like about a different game, State Of Decay 2, is that it's perma death so if any of your survivors die they're permanently dead but in that game you can have between 9-12 community members and recruit more if needed. I suppose in its own way SCUM has a bit of perma death since you revive with nothing just like a fresh start with no guarantee to being able to recover anything lost. There are just some things games shouldn't make too realistic because games are made with making money in mind. IRL the puppets would be able to hear a motorcycle from a mile or more away, not sure offhand what that is in KM, maybe 1.6 or so KM? If they made that part more realistic then every time you drove a vehicle you might have a horde or more coming for you which would be fine for some players but most people play games more casually and wouldn't want that.
Please bring duct tape on your trip to the rad zone, I recommend bringing 5 rolls of full tape if you’re clumsy. No point losing your gear if you get triple swiped
As for the graphite, I only know of one pile under the crane at the south entrance (and 8 piles on the roofs). Does anyone know of more places to find graphite?
If somebody dose this successfully on The Wateland, I will personally make an Award for him! I died yesterday for the first time after 400h on The Wasteland. New Streak has started but with the same character of course 😊. Greetings Ramzy

There's 3 lockers in the main chest room and 1 in control room

Good to hear ;]
You can also force open uranium boxes with a crowbar but it will takenitbdown from 100% to 21% so stack up on toolboxes to repair it

At least you know how to cure the radiation if it happens
Hey @Luthais, thank you for the detailed video. Really appreciate it. Side question, will SCUM ever be allowed on dedicated servers?
Not sure bud. Up to the devs
As for the graphite, I only know of one pile under the crane at the south entrance (and 8 piles on the roofs). Does anyone know of more places to find graphite?
verry nice to watch , no hectic mouse movings , useless cuts or animations !...from .at.....................on the roots of the liquidators :D
The motorcycle would be impossible to decontaminate...
whats about the uranium, only to sell ? .... or can we build a smal uran electric generater ? (like te russian ones )
You can craft CRAP ammo to kill a sentry and its gives you good fame crafting CRAP ammo
ah ok , ty ...uran electric generater for the base would be nice also ? @@Luthais

why do you need to put off the hazmat to lock picking?
Its very difficult to lock pick with Hazmat on
@@Luthais what makes it difficult?
same like gloves ;) @@sekedargaming9622
You can poop and pee with suit on I believe
I forgot about that change
Why do you have to take off your gloves before opening boxes?
It makes the lock picking more difficult
@@Luthais ty for the answer and also ty for the good video!
Hi there the Discord doesnt work can you give us another one (edit it that is has unlimited uses )

why take the hazmat suit off for lock picking?
