I know bro, thats one of the many things I HATED about the remake, they could have done it so much more justice had they put a little more effort into it!!
That seems to be a deliberate design choice, the devs wanted you to choose between the a gun with a faster firing rate Or your pistol with higher damage. The problem is that the B gunpowder isn't as abundant as the A so by the time you make your 8th shotgun ammo, the game's almost over.
Unfortunately, none of the gamers wants to use shotgun only, including the enhanced shotgun ammo in the walkthrough video. Are they afraid of being vulnerable to Nemesis while using enhanced shotgun takes the recoil too much? Do they have problem with the dodging skill? No enhanced shotgun ammo, no fun.
I believe the reason why most players don’t make enhanced shotgun ammo, and to an extent enhanced handgun ammo, is because gunpowder B is better used with the grenade launcher to make acid rounds or combined with powder A to create powder C for magnum and freeze rounds. That, and if you’re hankering to take down Nemmy. You’ll get the upgraded hand/shotgun parts respectively which are powerful in their own right. Not to say enhanced ammo is bad. I love using the stuff against tougher enemies and nemesis. However, sometimes it’s better to use the gunpowder for utility purposes. I.E acid rounds for Grave Digger.
not a problem,im glad you enjoyed it! Soon im gonna be producing walkthrough videos of the following RE titles.. Resident Evil(Remake) Resident Evil 2(Original & Remake) Resident Evil 3(Original & Remake) Resident Evil 4(Original & Remake) Resident Evil 5 Resident Evil 6 & More!!
