if you want to increase the low end torque then add louvered baffles to the pipes, you dont need to remove the pipes to install them just need to unscrew the tips and bolt them in.
They sound mean... I love the sound of my pipes I have on my '13 FLTRX. I running Rush Headers with CFR Slip On's. All the sound comes from deep in the belly. One of the reasons I've kept my bike as long as I have. I get constant love from anyone who hears my bike.
Magna flo Hitman 4.5”. Tapered to match the slant of the extended bags, look like made to fit ,not sticking out. Good mix of deep rumble and crack when twisting the throttle!
I've dropped mine from the stand a couple of times. The last time, I broke my windshield, so no more stand! I built a stand out of 2x4's with a bunch of bracing on it, about 16"s tall with 2x10's treated lumber for the top. Then reinforced another 2x10 for the ramp. Placed a 2x6" on both sides of the ramp so I have a place for my feet when I ride it up on there. Bolted down my wheel chock on it so I can lock into place, and I love it. Now my scooter sits about 16" off the ground and it's perfect for polishing or working on it. I have my little tool box/stool to sit on when I need it, and now I'm comfortable :)
at 2:53 that is for the rear seat under fender where seat screw goes into. easy fix run a string from the top tie it on and fish it through. I used fishing line and a small washer to weigh it down
I always enjoy all of your exhaust swaps...if you get a jack, J&S jacks is awesome! You’ll never be crawling on the ground again! WELL WORTH THE MONEY!! Thank again RT!!
I contacted the customer service departments of the different exhausts to get an idea of what would be a good setup. I was surprised because there is a difference in setup from looking good, sounding good to straight up performance. If you want straight up performance, you need to tell them that so they can advise accordingly. Those larger well known exhaust companies will give good advice.
That sounds great! I'm waiting for the arrival of my S&S Sidewinder two into one full exhaust. I don't have the extended bags so I don't have to worry about filling up that space, and from what I understand two into one tends to make better power. We'll see. On a side note, man that dog loves you!
Great sound! I like that you took the time to do the ride by. I know the video doesn't do it full justice but I get the point. Thank you for this. I think I made my choice : )
Sounds Great! Deepest M8 muffler I have heard yet. I am running V&H pipes with CFR mufflers, on a 05 E Glide with a cam, 90 Hp to the rear time. Also, the fender clip on the seat nut. Lost mine at home, carry a spare. The best way to install.....weed eater line down though the hole, coming out the side of tire. String though the nut with a knot on the end. Pull up in place and put the new clip on.
Vance and Hines 4.5 High Output slip on' s. Removed fiberglass packing, reinstalled baffles.. 2013 Roadglide, no cats, stage 1. Nice and clear deep rumble..
Bike sounds good man. I would be curious to see how it sounds I do with the megaphones on that 124 and catless header. Not a whole lot of M8 out there with that setup. I had a sport Glide and we modified a megaphone for it and I've got them on my stock Street Glide now. If you ever have a reason to put the megaphones on with the 124 , please put a video up
2022 Ultra Limited Blacked out, brand new. Just ordered Khrome Werks Full System in Eclipse Black, Arlen Ness Stage 1 Breather Kit and Vance & Hines FP4 Tuner...all thanks to your video reviews of Khrome Werks. Thank you Tall!
Sounds great! I was split between these and Tab Zombie. I have to listen to it in person for sure. But, I love what I hear so far! Deep rumbble without being annoying
The fly by sounded really good. I’m running the 4.5 inch Rinehart’s on my SGS. Had a heck of a time “centering” them with the bags. Used a rubber strap wrench to twist pipe while tightening the clap and bam they lined up great.
Rinehart moto 45s with Rinehart slimline header on my 18 SG. Just bought DBX baffles to make it louder... hopefully. Loving the 4.5 Kromewerks. Sounds fantastic.
I love that little grin you got when you took the new slip on outta the box. That is so universal to all of guy that like to ride and mod a lttle bit. It made me smile like I was getting new pipes LOL
Tall, with all due respect sir, @ 12:34, and 12:48, each pass CLEARLY qualified as "fly by"! And executed nicely with those "stand out" LED fairing lights, I might add. Gorgeous 👌🏾. A "ride by*", would have been executed at 60 mph, like the sign suggested 😄, lol. Your passes "looked like", triple digit territory , my brutha 👍🏾. *Bottom line, your scooter sounds righteous , and 💪🏾. Thanks for this update and your transparency 👊🏾.
@@TravelingTall No. Didn't notice to be honest. And if I did, i wouldn't care b/c ALL of "us" have [that] event in our history, MORE than once. No biggie. The big deal here is, the "big" sound of your bike 💪🏾, and the lighting your have employed. Two thumbs WAY-yup 👍🏾👍🏾, in my opinion 😎. Man, 12:52 was impressive to me. "Looked like" you were tryin' to get to the hospital, so you could witness momma drop your FIRST child! (lol). An event NO "real dad", would want to miss.
You were smiling from ear to ear!!! Love the sound. I’m very happy Dan from Zipper’s talk me into Khrome Werks, all my buddies love the sound and comment on how good my bike sounds! Congrats buddy!
@@TravelingTall That would be fun. When are you coming back up? If you need a place to stay I’m not that far from the shop. We have plenty of room and parking for a trailer if you bring one. If you talk to Dan ask him for my cell. I already told him it was ok to pass it to you. Are you coming to the Timonium show this year if they have one?
Bike sounds good yup she does I was laughing because at the 10:22 mark the little dude was about asleep thanks for putting him on the video enjoy the new exhaust brother take care an god bless
Man, those look and sound great!!! I definitely went with the Khrome Werks 4.5" - waiting for all of my parts to come in...doing Stages I and II. Can't wait to get 'em on my bike. Thanks again for helping me narrow-down those slip-ons!!
What pipes do I run you ask, my panhead is true duals with mega phones, my ironhead is shotgun, my 03 classic true duals straight pipe fishtails, and my 16 RGS is getting a D&D Boss Borzilla 2 into 1. I love the sound of every one of them! Oh and that was the fender nut for the seat bolt. I've had to replace a few also.🤘
Tall I have Rinehart 4.5 chrome black tips, 2018 FLTRX. I just got the Rinehart air cleaner in the mail. Haven't installed it yet, to cold in my garage.
Your bike sounds really nice with those on it, and they do look good. I have a D&D 2N1 Slash cut 4.5 on mine. I run a ghost pipe on the left as I like the look of dual pipes. Had the H-D 114 stage 4 installed when I bought it two years ago. Thinking about bumping it up to the 124 Sleeper, like someone else has...🤔 Love watching your dog hang out as you work on your bike. He is so chilled and nonchalant. Believes the camera is there to record him. 👍🏽😊
Ok, the 4.5” it is, you convinced me, thank you very much, I’m glad I didn’t have to choose/buy 3 other exhaust to find this out!!! I’m for ever a subscriber... thanks brother.
I just bought a 2020 street glide with this same exhaust. I could only start it for a few in the dealership. Sounds amazing. Now I have to wait until April for riding season to come around so I can get out and ride.
If Krome Works could make them sound as awsome on my 107 as they do on your 124, I'd be on the phone with Krome Works now. Thanks for sharing that great sound.
Great video!! I think you did a really good job of showing us what they sound like in a real world scenario. I have a set of SE Street Cannons on a 117”. There ok but I’ve been considering a set of Khrome Werks. Do you know if they will use the same tuner? Thanks for the video.
I just got a 17 Ultra Limited 107 that has Cobra Race Pro slip ons, and I like them a lot more than I expected. A nice deep, mellow rumble. Loud enough but nowhere close to over bearing
They do sounds good and that bike takes off nicely. I’m running a wild pigs catless head pipe with 4.5” DNA megaphones and I loves the deep rumble also.

if you want to increase the low end torque then add louvered baffles to the pipes, you dont need to remove the pipes to install them just need to unscrew the tips and bolt them in.

Wax the saddle bag supports and the bags will slip off without pulling the rubber pieces off.
That and a little dab a silicon sealent on the posts when you stick em back in the bags
Still stock on my 17 Street Glide. looking for the right sound, I think you have shown me the way.
I got a set of these July 1 of this year. Wait till you put a thousand miles or so on them, they sound even better. Congrats!!

a key works well on packaging. An opened out cardboard box is good on the floor. All your mods are sweet. ps: omg that sound!
Thanks for the tips!
This is the holder nut that goes under your rear fender in which you screw in the bolt that holds your seat on the fender.
Time to have it tuned again as you completely changed the back pressure on the outflow of the exhaust.
Thunder Max, is forever learning, it will adjust. Thanks for the comment.
