The loop trick works for SOME full drum loops, but sometimes a certain hit has to be muted for one pass of the loop, if that makes any sense. Really makes it interesting if there is a crash at the end of an eight bar loop. Great video Sir Ken, Prince of Production.

yes I don't think it will work with drum loops with a kick on the 1 as it could really mess up the track haha. Good point Frank!
