Any drone between 2800 and 3800 RPM, I know the standard magnaflow systems suffer from it on their A3 3.2 setups and so does the setup for my 3.2 TT. Sounds freaking awesome BTW, I'm seriously considering copying you outright on my A3.
So what made you go with the Magnaflow 14336 muffler? Usually people go with the Magnaflow 10416 to do the 'tampa' mod, though I think your set-up sounds better
It’s the one that magnaflow said they put on their touring system I liked the sound of it with just the center muffler so I grabbed one but just further path inside the muffler instead of a center enter.
Which touring system? The touring system for the 3.2 A3 enters and exits the same side, not center/offset like yours. any info you can give would be greatly appreciated, that thing sounds beautiful...I need I need haha

Nope its still here in stl though i keep in contact with whoevers got it. Its a little rough i sold it to to a kid who sold it to a kid who sold it to a kid. And none of them knew shit about taking care of it im pretty sure the most recent kid knows what hes got.
Holy fak that thing sounds sexy!!! glad I found this, just picked up a an 8pa 3.2 and have been looking for a cheaper exhaust than the off the shelf magnaflow, I have the usp high flow cats (not installed yet) and need something to mate with it, what's the model for that muffler? Nice a3 btw
Hi ! The sound is magnificent. The stock A3 3.2 does NOT sound like a R32 even if they share the same 3.2 VR6 engine... You made it sound like he SHOULD sound ;) Did you built all the exhaust system all by yourself ? Or by a tuning shop ?

This is back when dsgs were tuned to shift fast as fuck boi not fart for 3 seconds lol ive got a new a3 that sounds like it shift fast but its not even close look up spark cut tunes on r32s thats how a redline shift should sound with a dsg

It’s the same one but offset just a longer path inside the muffler. Part number in description. Find it on amazon

I did. Just a magnaflow 4x9x14 mounted in the midsection of the car. Thanks though!

Jimmy D I put all the parts in the description it’s custom not something you can buy. It’s basically the magnaflow touring without the mid muffler

Antoni Carlson look at the pictures at the end I just cut it at the union and put the magnaflow where the mid muffler was then piped it to the back
