- It made a bit of a difference ,
But the Angler Pro Carbon has very little water run off to begin with,

I did see a difference at first but as the Day went on the paddle was losing the wax I put on, I think and the drip was working its way back slowly,
Anyone one have a better Wax to suggest? - กีฬา
Paraffin wax (or petroleum wax) is a soft colorless solid derived from petroleum, coal, or oil shale that consists of a mixture of hydrocarbon molecules not good for water or you even , Carnauba or bee's wax natural and is safe for the water system. Jus' Sayin'
ooooooo good tips... gonna try this out!
Great job showing with and without! I haven’t the slightest idea about what works better but…, it simply seems to be a question of longevity. I would think any wax type solution will work well; we just want one to last for a long while 😆.
Well said, Thanks for watching
Brilliant mate, cheers...👍👍👏
cool, yeah that works
Try using the stuff they make for shedding rain off windshields.
Sounds good,
I'm sure that would work great as well,
Great vid 👍 maybe IPA to clean them first then wax them, maybe something on them from when they were moulded🤔
Didn’t quite hold up but it may be worth a minute or 2 when the water is indeed cold and make it a bit more uncomfortable.
Rust oleum makes a product called never wet. That’s what I use.
Right on, I will keep a eye out for it , Thanks
👏🏻👏🏻😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Did you try silicone putty mixed in a petrol or mineral spirit and coat a paddle to repel water?
No, I did not, It sounds good thow.
What about Rain X. For windshields, think that would work?
I would thinks so
Ikr 🤷🏼♂️, imma give it a shot
@@bullscrazyadventures9941 let me know how it worked out ..
What about candles, what type of wax is that? Would any wax work or needs to be paraffin wax?
I'm sure mant type of wax will work . Some better then others.
Maybe take a hair dryer to heat up the paddle just enough up get the wax to seep in a little better?
You should never heat up paddle blades. It causes the plastic (not really gonna go all chemist on ya 😂) to become more brittle. Paddle blades are made to be flexible. 👍
Do you know if the complete paddler sells this? Thank you?
The wax in the video No . But they sell 303 spray wax.th-cam.com/video/YW1yd2GEqyM/w-d-xo.html
@@YAKMANONT Thank you!

What length is your paddle ?
My paddles are 240-255 cm
Looks like it works well. I know the surfers use sex wax that might be a better option.
Sweet I have some of that, I try that next time out,
Surfboard wax (sexwax) would probably last longer, great idea, I will give it a try!
Right on
Spray some never wet
Yes, Thought would be much faster as well,
@@YAKMANONT also you can put tape on the paddle about an inch to 2 inch above the bottom end. Water will drip before it gets into the yak
@@TheSargeOnTheWater I use the rubber rings
Never wet will make the blades look ugly
I’ve tried this recently and even when the wax stays on the paddle, it stops beading off water after about an hour of consistent paddling. Drip rings are still gonna be needed
Ture must have drip rings . I'm going to try some more types of wax Maybe I'll find a better wax That will lastlonger
Maybe try turtle wax
Yes, that could work and easy to put on.
