I love how he mentions us owning a piece of a song & having it become a part of our lives, because I listen to a lot of music yet the song that means the most to me has to be let love in by the goo goo dolls ✨ as superficial as it may sound, it came out exactly when I needed it and helped me a lot

The goos have consistently been my favourite artists ever since I discovered them 20 years ago because they consistently put out quality albums and songs. I had never even heard of them when I happened to hear Iris on a radio in a shop (criminally the only song of theirs radios ever play) and I was mesmerised. I went out and bought 3 of their albums right away (Dizzy up the girl, Gutterflower and Superstar car wash) and bought others since. How had none of my friends ever heard of them was beyond me. Johnny is a song writing legend, and humble to boot. One of the all time greats.
