Was a month older than him, grew up near him, never knew him, remember him going missing, years go by and you hear about him again, and decades go by...never knew till now that he found his mate with his girl nor that he was last seen at the JM. Deeply saddening and horrific for the family.
That was very emotional Billy, you done well helping Rose throughout the podcast, I remember this story it's been on TV in the paper's , if I'm correct I think it was on crime watch and missing persons, hope and pray Rose and her family get the answers soon.

Sadly I do think mark was taken probably got into a car, queen drive leads to a lot of motorways . Also how come no one mentioned the sighting of him in Croydon? Also he disappeared a year to the day of another boy of similar age too went missing Kevin Hicks.

Family must still suffer till this day. The fact they have never had any closure will still keep their hopes alive. I hope this family can get some answers soon.

I’m from that area and putting myself in his shoes and being in the state of mind he was in from the jolly Miller I would of probably headed towards the old railway track down the road from there surly they must of done a full search on the track high and low?

Am telling you something, his mate and bird deffo know something let’s have it right, as the girl said it was a total different time, from what’s been said let’s rule out that he just took himself away from his family with having that bond and no money on him, ye talking about a lad that took care of himself and was smart honest, a know it was easy to steal cars and that back, but this kid doesn’t snd like he’d do that
Also in allot bigger than Darren Smith to I'm 6ft4inch and 22stone and got a huge nose to lol I walk past a chip shop and put half a stone on lol I'm a southern softie scouse lad but keep the humour up u lads are legends loves what u are doing keep it up 😅

My neighbor's son found his girlfriend sleeping with his best friend, he was 17 at the time, sadly he took his own life. I hope in this case im wrong, i doubt he would just move on, why do that to your family.

The most times it's the last person or persons to see them who harmed them I think the girlfriend and friends name should be put out there and they should be arrested god bless the dad and Rose and whole family it must be hell even after all this time
And you really think a regular 14-15 year old kid would know how to dispose of a body without it being found for 30 years? At 14-15 years old ya dumb as fuck ya don't know jack shit about life or anything, never mind how to commit the perfect murder. And now you'll probably they say they got others to help... Maybe, but people talk. People blab. ESPECIALLY kids that age. They would tell a friend and then eventually it'd get leaked by someone. And loyalties change as you get older. They change weekly when you're a teen. People would not be able to keep it to themselves, no way. At some point, even if it wasn't the police that found out, or was a rumour, the family would hear of that leak at some point during those years. She said nobody has said anything at all. Nothing.
