      I got the impression he was annoyed by Noah's celebration. Even during introductions, Noah runs and jumps down the track, comes back and lines up, Kenny is in the shot in lane next to him. You see him look away and mumble something under his breath.

Though looks like that’s skewed a bit by Michael Norman jogging it in to win a slower 3rd heat. But Wilson is legit in the running for a relay spot. Which is crazy. Wonder if he has another gear to access? Looks like it’s going to take comfortably under 44.50 to make the team as an individual.

    • @robeigner4390
      @robeigner4390 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not "should" but will go to the Olympics. As you said, there's the 4x100 relay, which means Coleman and Miller will be there to run the preliminary heats. They could actually take 8 100m runners to make sure they have fresh legs for the semi and final. As for who the 4th runner will be in the final (they better not drop the d*** baton) it might depend on how the extra runners handle the baton in the preliminary rounds. Miller has been running 4x100 races all year while the 3 who placed in the final only run relays on major meets.

      Although I respect Lyles, I will not be delusional about Bolt’s 200m record. The Olympic is not being hosted by the U.S. where barefaced cheating can go on. He doesn’t even reach 9.7 much less it takes at least 9.60 shape to attempt 19.19.
      Please stop using bad substances, it’s messing up y’all brains. W.record 😇

  • @scott-richardson

    I feel gutted for Coleman. After his semi-final legal 9.86, he looked like a certain 2nd or 3rd. Lyles performed about right where I thought he would. The only thing holding him back from 9.6 or 9.7 is the first 30 meters reaction. If he can just get that first two steps a little closer to the pack - not even in front, he will shave 0.05 - 0.10 off his time in my opinion. Kerley pulling it together when it mattered too! Going to have a killer relay team, and I am expecting them all to improve over the next few weeks of competition. Looking forward to the 200m now.

      Yeah, it's crazy.
      1. USA is huge with so many states. And to just whittle it down to three from there does not make sense. I believe that there should be a system that takes into account how large a country is, or how populated a country is - or simpler yet, those that are within a certain range of the world record..... So like a cut off point.
      2. Cause, it's so easy to get disqualified in any of the races, and then you're out..... Even though you're one of the best.
      3. Christian Coleman, Kyree King, Christian Miller, Courtney Lindsey are too good to leave out from the Olympics. They really are world beaters but they could have just had an off day too. This is too crazy of a way to decide who goes to the Olympics..... Cause anyone of the 3 in the Olympics can easily not have their best day/ injury or disqualify unluckily - and then the rest of these guys didn't even get an opportunity to compete.
      3. What about our guy Erriyon Knighton. There is so much of talent..... Lance Lang did so well in the recent meets too. These guys deserve a world stage to compete and develop.
      Shout out to the guys that ran under 10 seconds too.
