I spent time in hospital recently, twice, Being able to load up 100 stories in a ASN playlist and listen away.. so much better than hospital TV, days of stories to listen to. This is the way!

The probe was entering someone else's territory, ignoring all attempts at communication and making no attempts itself...and then murdered an entire station when they went to alert....and in the text of the story itself it mentions that the probe was aware of all of this. That's not being overzealous, that's being an invading asshole

i know of a similer story where aliens invaded earth and destroyed all of our historical information and religious pieces and goverments and laws in an attempt to demoralize us into giving up but then with no more restraining laws we made all of the most deadly things in fiction to attack over welm and perpetualy chase the aliens down in revenge.
Wait... if the humans could reset EVERYTHING, why bother to contact the aliens at all? And offer to pay tech and energy resources? I think this society is being recruited.... Also, the occasional flicker of your "persona" is a nice touch!

One bonus point for making stuff stop existing by cooling it to Absolute Zero. One possibility, if it was possible, is for the object to just stop existing because for objects with mass to exist in space time, you do need time.
Watching this man narrate for the first time (Not sure if he's done this before this is the first one I've gotten to see) just makes me want to do voice acting more. And that beard! Glorious.

And for billions of years they couldn't find any universe that harbored life, so they ended all those universes and 'harvested' them. And after billions of years they finally find these aliens.

Personally while I know it's important to keep a humble view on life, I find the stories amusing and a good counterbalance to all the other overwhelming amount of fictions that depict humanity as little more than dumb and worthless.
