Fun video. I remember playing this as a kid on Gamecube, but even back when I didn't really have the ability to tell what made me like a game or not like a game, I knew that I would always prefer to play Mario Sunshine or Super Smash Bros over this.
Somehow I was always aware of Carmen Sandiego since I was a kid, but you know I never played those early PC geography games. And it wasn't until recently that I got around to playing this game cuz it's like the only one on Console even though it's kind of different from the others. But I remembered it cuz I was making a list of games that are similar to Sly Cooper which there are very few. But yeah despite this game's flaws it's like the closest thing I can find to a Sly Cooper like game because of its mechanics it has the comics it has the same voice actor so when I was playing this I kept referring to the main character as Sly and I was having some fun with it being silly. It's too bad it doesn't control better I feel like it's slippery and heavy. And I kind of wish it ripped off like Cooper Moore keeping everything at night time but I'm happy there's stealth and tightrope walking and all of that so I am enjoying it😅
