- I was inspired by the amazing Nikki Tutorials when she created The Power of Makeup video so thought I'd recreate it. Makeup is something I enjoy, it doesn't define me and just because I like to wear it, it doesn't mean I'm not comfortable in my own skin. Ever since showing you all my bare face I have definitely become comfortable with myself but I will always love wearing makeup. Remember makeup is fun, it helps us enhance our features and washes off at the end of the day so if you want to wear it then do you boo!

That is absolutely true!!! I have never thought that someone may think that I am insecure if I am wearing makeup! This is a branch of art as well! Not everyone can do it. You put this so well! No one wants to be told "you're making yourself look worse". It is 100% personal preference & no one should be judged for their choice to wear, or not to wear makeup. I hate when people say that people who wear a lot of makeup only wear it to impress others or because they're insecure. I wear quite a lot of makeup because I LOVE the whole process of doing my makeup and trying new things!

Makeup was the only part of my life I could really control when I was diagnosed with brain cancer. I couldn't control how the tumor grew or my hair falling out. I wanted to beat the cancer so I gave up my control elseware. In makeup I could control the colors, the placement, & how long my eyeliner flick was. It gave me confidence in the life that had been suddenly changed dramatically.
I hear what you're saying, makeup makes me feel confident. I just feel better about myself with it on rather than bare.

Ok, weird fact: whenever I watch your videos I can't stop looking at your hands. I mean, weird because you have a lovely gorgeous face and you come up with stunning make up looks that I could learn something from. But I am just here mesmerized by how beautiful your hands are and how gracefully you move them. I am a hand freak though, I am always drown to people's hands, I really pay attention to people's nails, mani, rings.. and you always have perfect manis and the cutest rings, your hands are amongst the ones I most like from TH-cam, always very polished and classy :) Keep on being so inspirational and kind, you really cheer up so many people when we watch your videos :)

Love it. You look fab both ways and your skills are so amazing. You were born to share your talent. When people have the skill to create amazing looks, or they want to build up their skills, they should be able to do it without criticism. It drives me nuts when woman get judged for wearing a lot of make-up or none at all. Is that really something we need to be focused on? Plenty of other things to worry about in this world. Cheers!

It drives me crazy when people make negative comments about make-up! Of course looking natural is good too, but make-up is a way of expressing oneself, it is art, it is fabulous! It is neither here or there that we look better with or without! Live and let live people!

If you're having trouble with you dark circles you could try a red colour on first and then regular concealer. It's magic😍

I can't begin to tell you how frustrating I find the 'You don't need make-up' comment! I've had it many, many times and I'm so fed up with explaining myself. No, I don't need it but I like it and I enjoy applying it so let me get on with it, ok? Though in my case, I am very insecure and I do feel more able to face the world with my 'war paint' on than bare-faced.

You honestly look beautiful both sides and keep wearing makeup! That's exactly how I think people say to me I wear too much ( all I wear is foundation, concealer, powder, I fill in my brows abit, mascara and lipstick) I honestly think I don't wear much at all and I wear makeup because I find it fun and also I would feel more confident with makeup xxx
