It's not the members.It's MANAGEMENT. They had a SUPERGROUP,and they DESTROYED IT. I work on Wall Street (music is my side hustle). I think the company is broke. If I were analyzing this company for my mutual fund managers I would say they're not worthy of investment. They've got the ladies doing mukbang and vlogs,and Yeonwoo and Nayun have acting jobs. I'm betting that MLD doesn't even have their own studio to create music.WHAT did they do with the money from "Bboom Bboom" and "Baam"? well from what i heard, taeha left mld and yeonwoo was forced to be an actress, even though she would rather be in MOMOLAND. taeha did a video on why she left, but it looked like she was hiding something. The members also wernt getting paid, like they got $10 a day for food and thats it. As for daisy, she would love to be in MOMOLAND again, but she has to pay ONE BILLION WON (one million dollars US) to leave mld. Daisy isnt allowed to have her own social media, nor join another group until she pays :( and whats even worse they spent the majority of the proceedes from boom boom and baam on a boy group that flopped and now momolands OT6 MVs are very cheap and they are gradually loosing popularity. Only nancy is somewhat popular, she has 1 million and the rest have between 200k followers. Maybe if Bighit adopts them they could be popular again, but thats very unlikey. :,(

He sent her money to pay off her credit card debt after she had lasik surgery. WHY? If MLD isn't paying Hyebin,they're not paying the other members either.This same video company also has one out with Nancy,and her father bluntly asks her "What do you want?" . I feel that Yeonwoo and Taeha left because Momoland isn't stable. They're not nearly as successful as they seem due to their high MV views. Their sales are really low in comparison and they don't any CF offers as well. I mean, they even had to sign a contract with a Philippine network just for the money and stay afloat. It also seems like the members were all a little disappointed and awkward having to promote more in the Philippines rather than in Korea or Japan. I'm sure they're all grateful for the Filipino fans, but I feel they would much rather promote more in Korea and Japan. And Momoland has been in the Philippines most of the time when it comes to overseas promotion. You can tell just from their expression when they were signing the contract. It didn't seem like genuine smiles or excitement.

They made a comeback with the album Chiri Chiri with Pinky Love (title track) there's an MV (not on their channel) and if you're asking "yeah but it's not on their Instagram" it is on @momoland_japan_

I’ve been with Momoland since debut, but the addition of Daisy and Taeha made them more exciting and charismatic on stage. They just don’t have the same presence like they used to throughout their recent promotions...I wouldn’t doubt that none of them are actually happy and want a ot9 release as well.

Kiley Martin Technically they are all under MLD entertainment and still a 9 member group but promote as 6 members.
Daisy and Taeha who were additions with their second single release, Wonderful Love, have been on an unexplained hiatus since February.
Yeonwoo has recently revealed to be dealing with anxiety while filming a drama so she has been absent from group promotions but is still allowed to post on their official social media unlike Taeha and Daisy.
Momolands supporters, Merries, have been left with no explanation to if Daisy and Taeha are going to return and when if they will.
I’m hoping with the upcoming drama Nancy is filming in the Philippines, Momoland gains momentum and success again.

i'm a filipino and although momoland started entertaining interviews here, i'm surprised that they actually signed a contract here. they're really big here, especially Nancy. i don't know how long their fever will last here though. the public receives them enough though so let's hope for the best. hope the two members rejoin the group and mld thinks well on what to do next

One of the reasons i think is the market value.... it is true the Philippines has a largest fans in Asia if not the largest maybe the second to China or Indonesia.... well the problem is that even though the Philippines has many fans they are also not the most spender ....

I’ve been very worried cuz I really like momoland :( they are one of my fave girl groups, they’re very cute and charismatic and yet they get backlash for everything... Bboom Bboom is the biggest kpop hit in the Philippines.
When I found out about Momoland I loved their songs and I found out about them when they were still 9. I first listened to Boom Boom and I loved it and gradually came to like them. When I saw the hate videos at first I was confused and then I kind of started to believe most of them. Now I can understand and see that what is happening isn't their fault, it is the companies fault along with some of the haters that are choosing and mistaking their behaviour for something it isn't.
I regret what I thought before but I am not asking for any one to forgive me but only to understand that not everything is real and some haters need to back down and stop taking things to far along with the companies.
Same I found them through Bboom Bboom. Kinda left during Baam era for Twice,Red Velvet, and other groups. Came back after a year of hiatus (I took a break from Kpop) greeted with the horrible news of members leaving, hate and controversies.

Hi, my experience as a Filipino, it is true when Nathan says that Philippines love Momoland is an understatement. Till now, you can still hear Bboom Bboom and Baam being played nonstop anywhere here in the Philippines.

That's what I remember hearing ( at least that the supposed reason) that the reason Taeha wasn't in the I'm So Hot comeback is because of her weight (which MLD said was for "personal reasons" which I hope& not because of her weight), but if any Merry was on Twitter during late March- early April, they would have seen that the 1st Taeha update post I'm So Hot MV, she already seemed like she lost a bit of weight compared to Baam era. I really hope they comeback as 9. Or that Psy takes them to his new label. That's always an option

No one deserves hate. They're respectable person and before loving your favourites respect all the artist. That will make the kpop community less toxic

Me, who is from the Philippines, I’d say they are very popular. Bboom Bboom and Baam was very popular in Philippines. Nancy was popular in Philippines because she looked like a actress from Philippines named Liza Soberano. Search her up, they looked like siblings. MOMOLAND is very loved in Philippines, many people danced to their songs especially Bboom 2 and Baam. I think Nancy was acting with James Reid. He’s also a popular actor in Philippines. But ABS-CBN shutted down this year due to the pandemic. Many Filipino protested. It was like a mess. ( skip this cause this is for filipino’s lol )They were of course mad and also the actors of the channel. I mean they just loses their job. But ‘It’s Showtime’ continues. But thank god kadenang ginto was done. Or else I’ll be angry too. I like mga too tho. And I’m happy that they didn’t shut down ;-;. Pero ngayon ung mga ayaw sumayaw ng bboom bboom nag practice na kase bored cla sa bahay😂. Anyways, I’m not sure if the drama was cancelled. But until this day they are still popular. the dating scandal is just in excuse to take Daisy out.. Taeha having a body that "doesn't fit korean standard" is also an excuse. I think they just used Daisy and Taeha to gain more fans and recognition and when they already reached their peak, they removed them because they are not needed anymore. Daisy is like the main ambassadress for English speaking fans and Taeha gained some fans when she joined produce 101.

Momoland was my first group that i stanned so i have a very special place in my heart for them. Daisy is my bias so it hurts me even more to see her suffer, including Taeha who is my bias wreker. Them coming into the filipino market is incredible, also since im pinoy, but do we have to pay the cost of the group disbanding or two members missing for a long time?
The Philippines has a population of 108 million while South Korea has 51 million, Momoland is very popular in the Philippines along with Red Velvet, Black Pink and Twice. They are the only KPop groups that are really recognized in the country, So them being only 16 ranks in the Kpop September 2019 chart ranking is kind of unbelievable. Well, that is only local ranking in Korea but international Kpop fans, Momoland is the top 4 group, and that is in any order, they are probably top 1 Internationally. southeast Asia? Go to Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore? "BOOM BOOM", "BAAM BAAM" always-on sound 😊. As for Nancy Filipino drama, It will be her first time into Drama, We are not really expecting anything but just the name Nancy and a very popular Filipino actor James Reid especially the target market that will watch are the Filipino people. It will be a very huge success and will be number #1 once it is aired next year. So I do not think MOMOLAND is hurting. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ For the record, if you want views, you need to be on the Filipino good side, as they are monster viewers, especially on TH-cam and they are more accepting, If they love you, they really love you especially for the Kpop groups.

When I went to the Philippines last summer, Momoland’s songs were played e v e r y w h e r e even on TV and my cousins talked about it and danced it. Momoland got them into Kpop lol without Momoland blowing up in the PH, they wouldn’t have been into other kpop groups

I think it’s because back then we used kpop as party music or dance music without caring what the lyrics meant or what the title was and now that it’s more known to everyone we actually care about learning about the Korean culture and what the words are lol and the choreographies are better than before

I do not understand what are the claims to them? Maybe I don't understand the peculiarities of Korea? But these are fantastic performers! Daisy is one of the best in the group. How could you have excluded her ?! The girls were a great team. Bring them back!

I love them so so much and my heart hurts seeing people hating on them for the dumbest reasons or making fun of them because they aren't from a popular company. Sometimes I wish MLD would do much more with them and give much more to merries (the fandom) and I hope they'll visit my country someday and do a fan meet or a concert☺️🥰 But I guess MLD is just focused on things to get much popularity and money and where they gain *much* attention, that's why they're often in the phillipines, Japan, Indonesia and at the Kcon in the US.
