Playlist with all P Ranks: • Pizza Tower - P Ranks
Getting any rank is acquired by getting enough points in the level. You can get either a D, C, B, A, or S Rank based on your performance at the end. Getting to B isn't too difficult if you're aiming for most of the collectibles in a level, but if you want to hit S rank you will have to pull up some leg work.
To get a P Rank in a level, it is expected that you do the following things within one run of any level:
Kill an enemy before leaving the first room
Get enough points for an S Rank
Find all toppins
Find all secrets
Get the secret treasure
Go through the Lap 2 portal
Never drop your combo once
I just noticed that Gustavo is tipsy when pointing the way out.
If you look closely in one of the backgrounds, you can see him with Brick so that makes sense
The little things. Honestly, I like this more than his changes in Pizzascare and Don’t Make a Sound because of how subtle it is.
Fast Food Saloon Treasure: Donut
Police are commonly known for fonding donuts in media, Sheriffs are the wild west version of police, so Shriffs are probably also a fan to donuts

The gimmick with the racing horses to get toppings is basically Domino Row from Wario Land 4
it sucks that i have to restart the level everytime the horses win
@@skoopercantdraw Yeah. The horses mean Fast Food Saloon is one of the only levels where you can't go back for Toppins without restarting the level.
@@willfleming6812 Yeah but once you figure out each horse race section, it's really easy
just a harder version of it tho, in domnio row you get there in no time

It took my life essence to get an S rank on this and this guy just goes ahead and *gets 3 secrets, all of the points in the level , gets the treasure door, does a second lap of the entire escape sequence and on top of all of that he does it all in one combo*
Update: I P ranked this level recently and found out that its not really that bad
This level I was able to get S rank with only getting two of the secrets and no full combo, im still surprised i got it
It wasn't that bad, right?
He did not knocked all the bottles however. Near the first secret there's a couple of bottles that you can miss if you're too fast, and they give 10 points
This level looks fun to P rank i'm just recently got there after mort the chicken, looking forward to it. (I like sample of music there and freaking rats that makes 6_6 face as i running into them with my sausage horse)

That treasure is tricky. That's the only time I've deliberately left an enemy alive for the return trip.
i just left the toppings near that stupid rat that would otherwise be blocking the way for the return trip

I had never P ranked a level before and I decided to try this one first. 6 hours later and I finally got it, but wow was it difficult.
The first P rank is the most difficult

Here's a good time-saving tip:
If you can slam-cancel during specific drops, you've got a fighting chance!
To slam-cancel, press down+jump during a mach dive.

Idk why but this is my favorite level, no idea if its the atmosphere, the mechanics, or the music, or if its just the way this levelfeels designed to go fast, because the Weenie Mount is basically if the Knight transformation had good horizontal movement but pisspoor vertical movement. Its a bit awkward to get used to, but once you do, it feels fun.
Those fans though...
Edit: Hello, yes, i am back, i have recently lost my mind over this level, Pizza time combined with the sheriffs and the fans make me want to tear my skin off.
I will no longer respect any different opinions as i am now screaming in terror at this level.

the pineapple toppin can go to hell in this level, why is he so special? why do i have to go out of my way to get him unlike all the other toppins?

One thing that makes this game so much fun to speedrun, or watch speedrun, is the constant high octane music. It makes everything feel so much faster than it would normally be.

There are much harder secrets to find in other levels
This was suprisingly easier to P ranki than other levels
This was probably my favorite level to p rank so far. This is my favorite level in general just because of how fast paced it is and the music goes so hard. It was also decently easy, only taking me about 10 attempts

floor 1 was super easy to clear out for P-Ranks, floor 2 is so gimmicky compared to it.
Tips for blood sauce dungeon? Can only get an S
@@liammq9548 bloodsauce is tricky because of that narrow section, it’s a terrible combo ender. if you can just get that part down, it should be smoother sailing. it took me a couple of tries to get down, so don’t get deterred if you can’t get it down immediately.
@@hidden_block narrow part? I always mess up the first secret. I can’t maintain the combo after passing it. I think I need to practice parrying to do it

Expected this to be harder. Not the easiest level either, but I had a fun time P ranking it. A nice sweet spot in difficulty, the timer in lap 2 is tight as hell though, I had to run a couple of rooms from Pizzaface.

Of course the best rank requires you to do a 2nd lap with barely 10 seconds to spare. More fun to watch a speedrunner play the game for sure heh.

You really should play this for yourself, playing the game and playing for p rank are veeeeery different. The game even dissuades you from doing p ranks, with an npc saying something along the lines of "it's very hard, so don't feel bad if you don't want to go for it". There is so much more to the game than the p rank, and I'd personally be so sad if this masterpiece of a game undersells after how long it was in development
As a hat in time fan you should know how it feels to beat some of the deathwish challenges.
