I'm so lost in this world without hearing her and Richard singing and bringing joy to everyone whom lives a beautiful voice as she so has a voice so true and natural and Everytime I hear a song they did I wish she were still in the the world today ,I also think much of all the musicians whom also played in her company of musicians on stage and in the studio what great musicians and Richard wow what a great composer and wonderful brother without him also the music and duo would not have ever been missing you Caren rest now until we see you and here you with the band of angels in heaven

I agree with you. The summer Close to You was a hit I had my first real boyfriend. I still think of that summer and that first love. He eventually broke my heart by getting another girl pregnant but I still have found memories when I hear that song.

My Christmas will never be complete without this album of the carpenters...childhood memory shared with my family and even though I far away from my family it brings me back to a time wherein i was a kid and didnt have any problems in the world and just simply enjoyed Christmas...thanks Carpenter's :)

She sang every note with meaning.That's alot of work.Every live performance Karen gave it her all whether she knew they were being taped or not.She never took the night off.Since I was a kid in 1970 I will always remember Karen for not only her breathtakingly beautiful voice but that warm smile and loving eyes.Such a special person we were blessed to have here. yesterday was the first day of Spring & we had a big snowstorm in February & the most snow we had all winter. I got stuck twice in all that snow. I love winter & looking at snow, but I hate getting stuck. Anyway, this song is amazing & the Carpenters are amazing.

I had that CD too and wasn't too happy with it. I found a two CD set that has both a christmas portrait and an old fashioned christmas as two whole albums, which I was much happier with.
love this , its soo christmassy , i have a cd of the two albums merged together of a christmas potrait,and an old fashioned christmas , but they lost the whole idea when they were not seperate,never the less i love this medley
Our first snowfall was at the end of November. It usually ends in March or April. We had snow all day in April 2 yrs ago. We've had snow in May before. We have had snow in October & on Halloween.

I loved the carpenters but none of these videos match the music .Karen sings but her mouth does not move in time with the song being sung. Other then that loved the music the Carpenters were awesome Karen had a beautiful voice.
