Yup. And the sick employees refuse to wear masks (or chin diaper them) for just a few days! Sad that they have no compassion for the little old lady slaving over the copier all day. She'll die of it. Or Charlie, the guy who's still on chemo and is immunocompromised. Well, they can always get replacements, eh?
Maybe get mad at the businesses not offering paid sick days, forcing employees to have to come in sick? You people act like everyone would just rather work sick. Not all of us have the luxury of being able to miss a paid shift.

Paying for sick days should be mandatory - if everyone got paid for sick days, they wouldn't come to work and get more employees and customers sick. Having all your employees sick has got to cost companies more than paying one or two of them for sick days.
Paying for sick days should be mandatory but the government should cover the cost so employers have less incentive to pressure employees not to take them.
@@RyanBanman The taxpayer should cover your wages when you take a sick day to encourage you to actually stay home when you're sick rather than go out in public and infect others. It's a matter of public health.
This made me laugh out loud. Good job, 22 minutes! But then I remembered my two family members who died of this, my best friend's husband who has long covid and can't work, and I think of my nephews who have had Covid so many times with who knows what long-term consequences, and it just isn't funny anymore.
Sorry to hear that. If only people realized how ridiculous they were being when they denied covid or having it. The skit does get the point- just stay home and keep it from spreading. It shouldn’t have been that bad for so many
My husband's work has no sick days and when people get sick and they say maybe it's covid they say it's not covid if I don't test😅 but there's still other things out there not just covid and when you have no sick days go to work sick
The weird thing is a family member can have Covid and others in the house don’t catch it. So if it’s that easy to catch? Of course we gargled etc a lot.
Me. Positive for the first time yesterday. Update: I had two barely positive tests on Saturday, then 12 negative tests over the next 2 1/2 days. I tested strongly positive after a terrible night on Monday and Tuesday was the sickest I've been in 25 years. I am doing better today, Wednesday, but mostly flat on my back.
they forgot the 'it's just allergies' lol
This Hour Has 22 Minutes doing better public health messaging than public health. 🙃

Hilarious! And ridiculously accurate.
Public health could have actually used this a few years ago as a humorous way to demonstrate when people might have Covid.
@@Denny-i4cCould still use it now, in fact!
Same thing here in the States. You nailed it, 22 Minutes!
De Nile is not just a river in Egypt

Exactly my workplace!
Everything except for that one person that insists, "it's just allergies."

@@studentofsmithIn Germany, this is the respo of the healthcare plan.
So you should pay for your own sick days then. Why ahould the employer or taxpayers pay for you when your sick?

Funniest thing I've seen in a while, because that's exactly how people act nowadays and they're ridiculous.
It is German culture in a nutshell.
Some Ottos and Hans Jurgens will always yell at you in the Rewe that the pandemic is … atchoooooo 🤧🤧🤧🤧… over… People have mot learned a bit.

Probably cause the bills dont care if ur sick or not and most in canada live cheque to cheque. Hard to save when taxed to death
And this is why 2 weeks of isolation didn’t work in most countries.
Who still gets tested??
Responsible people
people who give a shit about other people, what a concept. covid isn't the f***ing flu
