272K on my MK7 GTI. Absolutely no issues. Super impressed
That’s amazing to hear! You look after any car and it will look after you.
Watching in 2023 and thanks for keeping it real my Bru. Honestly you didn't bullshit in this and I thank you. Getting mine bro . This model is for me is beautiful Thank you for the video and time and effort. God bless you .
My pleasure 👊🏽🙏🏽
Polo 6R is called Thandiswa Mazwai/Bumjive in Pretoria.
Polo 6c is called Skip and Jump.
Polo GTI 2.0 is named the John Rumbo
Why Rambo? 😰😰😰
@@bongumusasokhulu260 i'd be lying to you if i said i knew why.
I wanted to see the arm rest that keeps falling off & how it’s kept together 😂😂😂 but overall loved the honesty and feedback 👏🏽
Danko Bumjive🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Kumbi for the video especially real kilometers on the car. We have been conditioned that after 100k the car packs up.
My pleasure!
My personal favorite car
Great review Kumbi!🔥 It's still a cool car!
Thandiswa mazwai lights 😂 nice!
Fuego🔥Great video man
Bro, thank you!
I also drive one
Coils
And tyers
Arm rest
And sunvisor clip
That is few problems I also have
But car is great I love it my car is also standard
I'm getting mine soon
👊🏽
Great body of work keep it up bro👌🏾
Thank you for watching bro!
The armrest issue finished me. But would’ve liked to hear about the Turbo x Supercharger engine and if whether or not have had any reliability issues.
We call the things that you use to hold the armrest on ‘elastic bands’ because that’s what they are.
lol
The Chicken Licken rubber bands (specifically Chicken Licken) finished me😂😂👌🏾.
Great vid bro👌🏾🔥
Hahahahah, thank you for watching bro
I drive the same car and after 11 years im having gearbox issues as in the clutch and mechatronic unit its jumps gears goes from 2 4 6 and skips the rest so im thinking of just parking it and leaving cause apparently will cost me up to 30-40k to repair.. so good luck
Lol yes mine too 😂
Currently own a 2014 model and as we speak it had gearbox problems , it has been 3 weeks now without seeing my Gin Tonic And ICE
Eish so sorry
Great video, thanks a lot!
Not just any rubber bands.. Chicken licken 🐔😂🍗
Exactly 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Drive by shots... unless you're leaving them for the next video 😉
See i keep telling the gents that you look after a GTi and it will look after you 🤷🏾♂️
That’s very very true.
Great review
93K on my Polo TSI, couldn't afford GTI, car price in my country is crazy 200% tax. Mk8 cost 95k usd
Which county ?

Hi Sir
Can you tell us about the fuel consumption on your vehicle.... is it heavy or light on fuel
Thank you
It is fuel efficient. Not heavy at all
The armrest, I relate 😭😭😭
🤣
Romantic
Would you recommend buying a secondhand one with 100 000 km ?
Co ask
Nope
I ll recommend it. Check service record and got good bargaining power. I wouldn't advise on executive saloons.
Not any rubber bands but chicken licken 😂😂😂 wow Kumbi....Mphe that car🤦♀️ So would you recommend it as a starter car to someone?
Hahahaha! 😂, only chicken licken fam.
I would recommend it to someone as a starter yes, if they made sure the car is in great condition.
Brother my arm rest fell off as well😂😂😂😂I gave up and I keep bumping it when I drive
My problems:
Pistons
Crankshaft
Mechatronic
But why does this car give so many issues tho ? Say I buy it on 90ks stock standard and with full service history, and keep it stock ..isn't it suppose to be reliable even after 200ks
@@carguy7797 if it's stock and you not the type of person to always put the car in sport mode then it should take you there.. But then again the 1.4 Engine can decide to test your pockets😂
@@taburthecarguy1201 eish and I really like the 1.4 gti .. the 1.8 is a bit too expensive..i saw one with 90ks on the clock for R300 000... might as well buy a Golf Mk7 .. but I'll stick to a 1.4 😅
@@taburthecarguy1201 I give up that means stay away from this GTI 😰😰😰
@@carguy7797 bro let's keep trying we will find one 😭😭😭 also looking for one
Would you recommend one to buy this car as second hand ?
I bought it as a second hand. Sure there were problems but overall I'm enjoying the car. 1.4 Tsi a full tank driving smooth bro that car lasts. I have it on stage 1 with a Downpipe and I don't have issues with fuel consumption
@@taburthecarguy1201 what about the 1.4L TSI?
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 Chicken licken rubber bands
😂😂
Sold my GTI due to gearbox issue
Someone keeps whistling in the video
Relax that armrest was designed to fall😂😂😂😂😂
😂
😂😂🤣
We don't care abour face man we want to look at the car.
