Because they believed this tech was already perfected. Only a complete would think weather control already existed but would only be used for stupid cartoon-villian-bullshit, instead of bringing rain to the deserts of rich countries.
some "conspiracies" are based off factual evidence. others are complete bullshit. This is one that has has factual evidence since the beginning. The US used it to move soldiers in WWI without being seen.
Geo engineering is probably the most dangerous thing humans can do. The ecology is a complex system so many variables with interacting feedback loops. How can you know that it won’t cause other problems

She’s wrong. This will not help us and this will become a huge regret. “You’re scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn’t even stop to think if they should” I love science and it’s amazing ability to unlock doors and allow us to better utilize and understand the world around us. But there are roads that are dangerous to go down, ones that are too uneven and have rocks that unexpectedly come to hit you as you drive by, this science of controlling the weather is one of those roads…mark my words everyone, this is not good at all.

Question shouldn't be how do we make it rain. But when we can make it rain, how does that affect the atmosphere? How does drawing moisture out of the air on a global scale affect the climate and distribution of gases in the atmosphere. People try to achieve goals without seeing the affects of scale. That's how we got here. People destroy everything they control
this is my biggest fear whenever anyone mentions any kind of weather or sea control. it's large scale ecological change, which has not worked out well for humans and the rest of the planet
Yeah, right? Like all this talk of newfangled tech that's supposed to suck water out of the air to provide water to desert areas. So what would happen if people began to use it on a large scale? Sounds like disaster to me, but prior to reading your post, I've been the only one I know who's raised that concern. People are so short sighted.
Successful people don't become that way overnight. What most people see at a glance wealth, a great career. Purpose is the result of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life.
Reminds me of two of my favorite quotes... "“The evil that is in the world comes out of ignorance, and good intentions may do as much harm as malevolence, if they lack understanding." & "It's in our nature to destroy ourselves."
13:57 Deals with her actions by rationalizing them. Quite the truth of the human spirit to help yourself sleep at night when you know you are doing wrong.
Great catch! Nobody ever thinks of themselves as the villain. Humanity's worst trait is our ability to rationalize away our action, so we don't have to struggle with our conscience. It's always someone else's fault. Or, as in this case, it's the: "People are already doing it. I didn't start it!"-excuse that's used by her. This ability to rationalize away our damaging actions, together with "tragedy of the commons", is what's going to be our downfall as a species.
I saw a video years ago that mentioned of this going on as early as the early 1900s. In the Pacific northwest two different types of farmers, one was citrus and the other was wheat I believe, had weather wars. It was dubbed " the battle of the wets vs drys". Wets would seed the clouds. The video showed an article from early 1910s that disclosed this info. I found it fascinating and tried to find video again but cannot. The article was published in a Popular Science type publication. I cannot remember the specifics.
Here are a couple more you may want to see. Instead, climate change policy is about how we redistribute de facto the world’s wealth...”
I wouldn’t be surprised if this kind of thing is available for decades even as far back as 1950s-1960s and is probably even used. Yet chose to reveal it now and act as if it’s a new thing Or maybe it did not exist before but they always had the ambition to achieve this
Then why didn't they use it last year? They let the fires burn and blamed it on climate change. Which BTW all those fires have proven to be arson. Don't trust the government. The hippies had it right, font trust the man!
US special ops pilots have confirmed that during the Vietnam war, they would fly planes with the “plumbing” for injecting Aluminum oxide and other chemicals into the air/clouds, and were able to “manufacture” conditions that resulted in huge torrential downpours lasting 3-4 days. Which subsequently resulted in the flooding and complete impassability and neutralization of a target road off the Ho Chi Minh trail, one of the VC main supply routes
Is that why it rained in Forest Gump? No, but seriously... I never knew that! I'm now intrigued and will be reading into that. Thank you for sharing that information
We have cloud seeded here in Australia for a long time. It is done by the hydroelectric companies but requires pretty specific conditions to work. They use canons to fire salts up into the clouds or sometimes aircraft. It really only works over mountains though with specific weather conditions. I'm thinking that it might be rather difficult over sand dunes with little clouds.
Interesting. Also the rain drops evaporate before the reach the ground; the heat is overwhelmin.g It's going to be tough to accomplish this there. In the US, the skies are being weaponized by chemicals like ammonium nitrate and other toxic chemicals, called "chemtrails." It's a huge concern, infecting the soil, killing trees and affecting peoples' health in later yers. Scary really. So when they said the US began the water experiments after WWII, then gave it up is a total lie. DARPA may be the agency working on the chemtrails I noted. Any more toxic chemicals could cause acid rain, which would totally devastate the planet.
Chris I live in SA & I see a lot of activity over the salt lakes. Space defence now has 2 hubs. 0ne in adelaide & one next to the airport. From what I believe, the airspace occupied is over parafield to adelaide. They have shoots & launch pads for high orbit crafts & aerial practise. Theres all sorts of space structures & I'm sure they are utilising subatomic particles to create screens. I hear booms, at times the ground vibrates. Loud traffic noises come from no where, loud clangs & ashes sometimes fall, then a fine mist sprays over the smoke. Nothing much above my head is natural anymore.

@Daniel Hollingsworth where did you jump to that leap from what I said? The military funds every little thing, it doesnt mean it's enough to be going anywhere. They also funded Jedi mind powers...so what. It's the military, they're not geniuses, we rely on scientists to convince us their work is worth investing, which is a massive bias becsuse of course they want to make a living. Weather systems control is utterly sci-fi for obvious reason. This is a geoengineering problem not a cloud problem lol this entire documentary made me roll my eyes countless times. She even seemed bored with her own documentary. It was like a bad tiktoc video half the time. "Yah here's me standing awkwardly for 10 mins in the wind and rain with an inside out umbrella. And here's me being bored presenting my own field of expertise to people with much better ideas." Lol
@Daniel Hollingsworth no because I'm not desperate for a sense of special self absorbed perception of the world where it puts me in some little bubble of feeling like I have a unique knowledge that few other middle aged house wives with too much time on their hands and not enough access to mental health would have. But I mean, wild fires? Yah they do controlled burns all the time, it has to do with stopping the wild fires that encourage them. When you refuse naturally occurring wild fires (to save homes, and timber, etc) what ends up happening is the vegetation accumulates to extreme levels, which is what causes massive disasters like the Australian fire. My comment didnt suggest so because I dont get all my info from TH-cam videos. I also read, it helps to read to avoid distorted perceptions thanks to content algorithms keeping you in your narrow bubble of presupposition. Like if all I did was Google and look up conspiracy theories, that's what would be constantly suggested to me. It's not because its valid, its because the internet doesnt care if you have accurate information. You know what other failed projects the government invested in other than controlling weather? Jedi mind powers and telekinesis....do you believe those are really too? Also, what do you benefit from it? What do you do differently compared to everyone else? What privilege does your information give you other than the sense of superiority and distrust for the government? This is no different than area 51, news flash, the world leading military for air craft weaponry I'd going to want to protect its assets from Russian and Chinese agents, so yah you're not gonna be able to get very close. Has nothing to do with aliens. aliens wouldnt be that interested in humans as stupid as us. But hey! This is exactly the type of people I imagine would watch vice documentaries about weather 😄 people with no scientific background and too much free time.
This scientist has no ethical responsibilities for what her and her team may destroy. She asks these questions of "if" after she has violated ethical standards. She sleeps well at night, making excuses about pollution, which is not ethically acceptable either. Greed is her code of work.
Her everyone else is kicking up particles in the atmosphere so how about I up it by spraying aerosols in the atmosphere logic is typical Godless Communist way of thinking. Bill Gates has been involved in these experiments I've seen the airliners and pump tanks inside these airliners that release these "aerosols" other wise known as chemical warfare. That's what it is and to be honest though I'm not alone in this kind of thinking simply because there are no passengers in these airliners conducting the experiment just criminals operating the weapon I have excepted a soul sense of moral obligation and pledged a commitment to ⚰️ those responsible for this wreckless act and gross neglegence and utter disregard for the well being and health of many other innocent lives. A bill will be passed making it a high crime a multi-feloneous charge carrying a possible death sentence to use chemicals to conduct any form of atmospheric geoengineering experiments over the USA skies and airspace and any equipment doing this will result in fighter jets being scrambled to make contact and shoot down any vessel or vehicle in violation. I've shot large caliber rifles at these "chem-trailing" sky vehicles many many times more than I can possibly count and I'm not the only one. Bill Gates have recently released 2 million+ Malaria infected mosquitos from his personal helicopters which put him on a kill on sight list. None of these practices and experiments are Noble or beneficial for the overall population of human life. FAFO
There is an artist who makes clouds indoors and photographs them. The pictures are quite extraordinary. He uses very beautiful indoor locations and once its lit and framed he c onjures up a cloud that exisits, all the time in flux, for a very brief time which he then captures with his camera.
Powerful film, engaging yet uncomfortable. Where do these weather-altering activities lead? For the first time I believe Atlantis was real and that we, too, won't leave a trace of our rapacious folly. No trace....
it doesn't lead anywhere...she already explained the amount of power that is in natural weather systems...how did she describe a hurricane? the equivalent of a thousand nuclear bombs? Yeah good luck, I hear sci-fi quality energy systems are right around the corner. with fake clouds you're LITERALLY involving moving large amounts of water producing chemicals to the point where its utterly impractical. this entire video was just a fancy, "yeah we can do it but it wont be practical." just like solar road ways and look how much everyone loved that utter disaster. YET look outside, ooops, there goes tens of millions of dollars. trying to get water in the desert this way is as stupid as the methods that try to PULL water from the AIR. THERE IS NO WATER TO PULL. there's traces everywhere, we just can't, wont, and/or don't see it. There's ancient stories from mahabarata, aztlan-tis, etc., but we choose to not even believe it, we are so arrogant in our ways that we have such a conciet to think that we are the only civilization that has invented technology. talk about fantasy, thinking there's no other way civilized people could have ever done this before. that's the falacy of our reality.
“This is how you kill a cloud. You shoot it, force it to rain, and it showers down wherever you please. And then it’s gone. No more chaos, but control. If you control the clouds, you gain control of the water, and water means power. But didn’t you once say ‘the randomness of chaos is true equality?’” 38:00
I believe the U.S. started working on seeding clouds and weather manipulation as early as the 1950s. My stepfather was a university professor and he took me to a lecture at the university on cloud seeding in 1977 and while I was pretty young I distinctly remember the lecturer saying they were already able to largely control micro climates but they hadn’t perfected it on a larger scale. He showed us some videos and slides and talked mostly in terms I wasn’t able to understand but my stepfather was excited and said it was legit. My stepdad had a doctorate in physics and another in biology. About five years later he was recruited through the university to work on a government sponsored study that he was very excited about but shortly after he started on it he either dropped out or was asked to leave. He never talked about it but I got the impression whatever happened affected him deeply because he started locking himself in his study and drinking. He never drank before that. Not even a beer on a hot day. He eventually stopped drinking but he became kind of paranoid and he definitely didn’t trust the government. He had a very high I.Q. and always was a little off/awkward but after that he was a different person. All that to say, I totally could see the government weaponizing the weather. All you have to do is look through some wiki leaks or review a few FOIA papers to understand how capable any/all of our governments are of evil and corruption.
Sean, thank you for sharing this. Our world has been betrayed by major corporations and governments. We wonder why we're told several decades ago we're headed towards an ice age and then now we're told we're headed toward heating....we can see why if we just take time to learn about weather modification that's been in practice for decades. I believe this so-called science is responsible for killing our planet. Such evil.
I am very sorry to hear what happened. He obviously cared deeply and couldn’t cope with the burden the research was having on him and his conscience. I’d be the same. Government has much to answer for. I don’t think for a second that they abandoned their research. I think HARP In Alaska is fully a black ops product. Capable of creating earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and severe weather events such as sea surges and flooding rains and windstorms, by sending powerful signals into the atmosphere that affect the environment in catastrophic ways anywhere at will and at any intensity at will. A blessing or evil
Funny how there's a slew of glowingly positive comments from right around when this film was released followed by hundreds that are critical of the idea of controlling the weather. Excellent propaganda, PR and consent manufacturing guys 🎉👏
The chemtrails have never been as bad as they are now here in east Coast Central Florida. The spraying goes on from morning to night every single day. The chemicals that they're spraying are highly toxic levels of aluminum and barium, people who have studied it and collected data on this have shown this. My kids and I are constantly sick and feel like we're being slowly poisoned. I feel like it's happening from every direction, the water, the food, and the air we breathe. I've never felt so helpless in my life.
Atmosphere can hold a certain level of water vapor. As water from the ground and ocean evaporate, cloud get more and more water until a point it fall into rain. If you force cloud to rain prematurely , then accumulated water is exhausted. In summary, in a long run, it wont increase total rainfall, not much.
Hell yes! I saw the premiere of this movie in my hometown in Finland. Very nice to see Finnish film makers screened to a huge online audience, and that the Finnish language is heard around the world🇫🇮💯
@Nikkie Sillanpaa I agree. I have only had positive experiences when meeting Finns and the same goes for Estonians. They are warm and honest people. IT,s noticeable, a certain lack of cynisism. I dont want to sound to generalised here. Good people are everywhere but in some countries the people come second and it shows but not in Finnland or Estonia.
I'm sorry but the way this comes off is: *3 years ago they started a project to research cloud seeding* The goal was to gather data to figure out which clouds were the most susceptible to seeding and to build and emulator to map out data. 3 Years later when asked what they've accomplished. They state they their goals are still to gather data to figure out which clouds were the most susceptible to seeding. But the emulator has been cancelled. Then its revived. What has happened for 3 years??
@@jdcampbell9613 Right, it's style over substance. You can find better information on this subject in minutes long videos on here. An hour in and I'm still waiting for more info than the introductory paragraphs of a Scientific American article. Thank you for this Doc Vice. As I sit here in Queensland Australia looking at our synoptic chart and the real time manipulation of our weather with Chem bombs and Lazer heating of our atmosphere I for one can tell you this stuff works! Searching Government legislation I have seen how this has been active since the 1960s at least but I have to question why in alot of cases? In the UAE I can understand however here in Australia, when Whoever is in charge needs to be asked Why they are pulling in Rain onto currently soaked soils and causing wave aver wave of flooding the possible reasons become possibly more sinister...
Pretty good content from vice, but in all honesty we are always overstepping boundaries that are of nature. This type of knowledge is beyond man's realm. Hence natural disasters become amplified.

yah cause there hasn't been 100 far more articulate science-based film companies out there to choose from, lets look to the one well known for political commentary and moonshine and crime documentaries.... they're stepping into science and it shows how poorly they did it.
thought provoking film...director really brings it to a personal level a very complexed topic. i love how she captures those minute details.. but i can sense some deeper realities expressed by the main characters vision. also note this climate change thing really is something if UAE has no rain here niw in philippines we recently experienced a week of heavy rains 😂 what an imbalanced world we live in..cheers vice!
Goes to show you how out of touch academically people who watch Vice is. It's as if the Philipines is an archipelago island chain or something! You want to bring RAIN to the desert...? Go ahead and nuke the mountains stopping the flow of clouds...problem solved. Meanwhile a place like Australia CAN actualy solve its desert problem by digging a long canal but WONT because...the desert life you know...the things that LIVE in the desert. The thing they GLOSSED over completely. "you know who LOVES rain? Desert scorpions and reptiles, I hear they love it! so much so they evolved to breath under water and not to retain as much water as possible." this documentary was utterly stupid and I struggled actually sitting through it all at how poorly it was filmed and how uninformed the narration was.
Did vice not also post a video about cloud manipulation/creation..was it California? In the hills..silver nitrate? can’t quite recall the full details…a year ago probably more now
The entire US weather system is manipulated by the powers that be to influence the weather in what they see as favorable. More rain in the Midwest for crops, weakening hurricanes in the gulf, trying to make rain in California, etc. What they don't understand is these systems are in harmony with nature and we are completely ruining that harmony. We may be able to influence the weather slightly here and there, but overall we are doing far more harm than good.
The documentary was well done. It seems as though the mission of the UAE is completely flawed and not asking the right questions. There are so many building practices that would naturally lower the temperature while introducing water into the atmosphere, such as buildings with vegetation and water falls on them, but these ideas were not even touched. It seems like the UAE has been taken over by the United States military-industrial complex trying to find new ways to sell its old war technology. The question was never "is this technology safe" but instead "how can we make this happen faster." I'm disappointed by the complacency with destruction and lack of innovation that has permeated the leaders' thought processes.
The fact that the UAE is operated by migrants was a good point.. Sharia Law, also a good point. It was subtle and appropriate subject to touch upon. Offered a bit of Context.
If making clouds and ending world hunger isn't your thing while simultaneously being able to control climate in areas isn't your thing, I'm not sure what planet you are on
really? I've watched a lot of documentaries and this was by far the most boring one I've ever had the displeasure of watching. It was boring on all fronts. The science was boring, the cheesy youtube-grade videography was boring. It wasn't overly informative. It presented really naïve moral challenges. All I thought was "wow this is going to freak out the conspiracy theorists." and I went, "wow...1.5 million, that's not going to do fucking anything" and the fact that UAE is wide casting a ton of money in a wide variety of ways, shows how little they expect someone to MAKE clouds. The sheer physics of it is so fucking stupid. You can't MAKE rain in areas where there's almost no moisture. You'd have to BRING in the amount of rain you would want to add to the region which would involve hauling a ridiculous amount of chemicals, which at that point you might as well just be hauling water...rain works because it's moving bodies of water, if you have no bodies of water you have no rain...all I saw in this video was a largely disinterested scientist desperate for a 1.5 million dollar grant for a field of study that isn't well funded, its not like she could actually solve the problem lol and she CLEARLY knows that XD want to get more rain? BLOW up the mountains. Don't like the desert? MOVE. Want water? Build a damn pipe...these are engineering problems not science problem XD but since the UAE has money to blow on nothing projects for publicity, this is what we get...lack luster documentaries no different than solar roadways XD "IMAGINE" yeah well that's what fantasy books are for, not science. Imagine within the context of science, that's their job. Not to blow smoke up their ass but since most scientists are starved for money look at what they do...sell you snake oil science.

Right now we are seeing floods at a scale never seen before in Australia. Many other countries have also seen devastating floods that they had never had to deal with. The major hazards encountered in the use and handling of silver iodide stem from its toxicologic properties. Toxic by all routes (ie, inhalation, ingestion, and dermal contact), exposure to this odorless, light yellow, crystalline substance may occur from its use in seeding clouds for rain-making, as a photosensitive agent in photography, as a local antiseptic, and as a chemical intermediate. Effects from exposure may include skin rashes, conjunctivitis, argyria (a permanent ashen-gray discoloration of skin, conjunctiva, and internal organs), headache, fever, hypersensitivity, laryngitis, and bronchitis. Exposure should be minimized by engineering controls (eg, local exhaust ventilation, or process enclosure). In activities where over-exposure may occur, workers should wear impervious clothing, gloves, face protection, and a self-contained breathing apparatus. Such clothing and equipment should be removed before leaving the worksite. Skin that becomes contaminated with silver iodide should be promptly washed. Eating and smoking should be prohibited in silver iodide work areas. Silver iodide may form explosive compounds with sodium, potassium, acetylene, ammonia, and hydrogen peroxide. Silver iodide should be stored in cool, dark areas, away from the above materials. Before shipping silver iodide, consult with the regulatory requirements of the US Department of Transportation. For small dry spills of silver iodide, collect the material
Great film, and subsequent interview with Tuija Halttunen. The bit about the dead raining down on us was a good bit of narration, and your observation about how it brought the film to a different emotional level was spot on. Not a stretch to compare to Werner Herzog, no? Thanks for showcasing this.

Now is that not a attack on other persons in other countries using a bio-chem weapon. To my mind it is, to actively alter something which effects others in their country, to geo engineer deluges of water like what happened in germany not long back, to engnieer drought in usually wrt arable, food growing countries, that creates a famine, that is a act of agression and a act of war. To meddle with, to interfere with some thing which belongs to us all like the internet, but im talking thesky, the weayher, nthe natural weather, is a act of agreession. You could ask this question, how many people have died st the hands of those who do hange the weather, how many died in floods, in droughts and fammines, how many in forest fires created as. Result of weathermodification, that is thequestion. What is the result if the chemicals beng used which eventually come to the ground, what is the ealth effects on all the other countries, what is the land sterility, nwater poisonig etc effect, you see weather modification has veen talked about as a weapon of war. So wrre do you draw the line, we dont own the weather the clouds nor any of it, so do we have the right to cause death and destruction thousands of miles away, just to keep our orage growers happy, to hedge the bets on the water stocks traded on the stock markets, the ateration of the weather to effect the yearly production returns andbprofits, to caus xrought in australia which bumps up the vost per literbof water to be bought, which regulated by the price per liter on the stock, market. Are you seeing the problem now. Do the arabs have the right to meddle with nature in such a wsy that it causes problems for others, further round the weather trail. Thats the problem. I knw messing with the gulf stream will cause problems across europe and asia. Do the americans have the right todo that, its nothing less than an act if agression, to inflict death, drowning drought amine on others in their own country is a act of aggression, a act of war. How does drawing moisture out of the air on a global scale affect the climate and distribution of gases in the atmosphere.

Here in ft worth we get no sunshine for 5 months..its coming from carswell air force base here in ft worth Texas.

The chemtrails have never been as bad as they are now here in east Coast Central Florida. The spraying goes on from morning to night every single day. Atmosphere can hold a certain level of water vapor. As water from the ground and ocean evaporate, cloud get more and more water until a point it fall into rain. If you force cloud to rain prematurely , then accumulated water is exhausted.

This isn’t a vice film, rather it is an indie film curated by vice
@@RT710. so they’re just bad at choosing documentaries that aren’t boring? Considering how often heavy their topics usually are, this was pretty lame. Why not the science of addiction? The science of crime, something that follows their actual news platform audience. Not sure what kind of nerds are going to look to vice for science docs. Sure as hell didn’t entice me.
This is the vice I've been waiting for
yah cause there hasn't been 100 far more articulate science-based film companies out there to choose from, lets look to the one well known for political commentary and moonshine and crime documentaries.... they're stepping into science and it shows how poorly they did it.
Yeah they must have got stoned
thought provoking film...director really brings it to a personal level a very complexed topic. i love how she captures those minute details.. but i can sense some deeper realities expressed by the main characters vision. also note this climate change thing really is something if UAE has no rain here niw in philippines we recently experienced a week of heavy rains 😂 what an imbalanced world we live in..cheers vice!
Desert scorpions and reptiles, I hear they love it! so much so they evolved to breath under water and not to retain as much water as possible." this documentary was utterly stupid and I struggled actually sitting through it all at how poorly it was filmed and how uninformed the narration was.
why is provoking? im reading about HARP 20y years ago

it does, its just that the very 1st comic book is dated the 7th centuray..

Did vice not also post a video about cloud manipulation/creation..was it California? In the hills..silver nitrate? can’t quite recall the full details…a year ago probably more now
HAARP also
Yep they did. Dubai also has to use weather modification or else they dont get rain
@@truck6280 do they actually get much rain?

I don’t like clouds, they’re always throwing shade.
So we don’t get roasted to crisps

For years, even recently you were called a conspiracy theorist if you said chemicals were being sprayed in the air.
I know right!.
The question was never "is this technology safe" but instead "how can we make this happen faster." I'm disappointed by the complacency with destruction and lack of innovation that has permeated the leaders' thought processes.
given they're a death cult, we can't hope for much from them, other than genocidal and gaslighty denial antics.
The fact that the UAE is operated by migrants was a good point.. Sharia Law, also a good point. It was subtle and appropriate subject to touch upon. Offered a bit of Context.
Honestly not the most interesting subject to myself but the film itself is very well done. Feel like I'm actually apart of the entire experience.
If making clouds and ending world hunger isn't your thing while simultaneously being able to control climate in areas isn't your thing, I'm not sure what planet you are on
@@kormoxkall6687 that's such a moronic presumption it's honestly not even worth responding back.
You'd have to BRING in the amount of rain you would want to add to the region which would involve hauling a ridiculous amount of chemicals, which at that point you might as well just be hauling water...rain works because it's moving bodies of water, if you have no bodies of water you have no rain...all I saw in this video was a largely disinterested scientist desperate for a 1.5 million dollar grant for a field of study that isn't well funded, its not like she could actually solve the problem lol and she CLEARLY knows that XD
want to get more rain? BLOW up the mountains. Don't like the desert? MOVE. Want water? Build a damn pipe...these are engineering problems not science problem XD but since the UAE has money to blow on nothing projects for publicity, this is what we get...lack luster documentaries no different than solar roadways XD "IMAGINE" yeah well that's what fantasy books are for, not science. Imagine within the context of science, that's their job. Not to blow smoke up their ass but since most scientists are starved for money look at what they do...sell you snake oil science.
@@CircmcisionIsChi1dAbus3 I was going to reply that this was a total work of fiction,at least as far as I could tell because I sure didn't see science. what I did see was quasi moralistic philosophical questions posed rhetorically ,presented in docudrama genre
@@CircmcisionIsChi1dAbus3 I agree I thought the same thing it's impossible. Right now we are seeing floods at a scale never seen before in Australia. Many other countries have also seen devastating floods that they had never had to deal with. Countries can devastate other countries for whatever reason. This technology will be prone to abuse. We already have ways to get water in any part of the world. This technology won't be used for the benefit of people. It's sad that these so called "smart educated people" can't see what they are really contributing to.
Love the content, but the research im doubtful of. People always want stuff they dont have.. in Britain they want less rain, in UAE they want more, lets just switch places and enjoy eachothers continent instead of always wanting to take stuff you dont need.
Keep nature nature, if you take the clouds away there, there will be more drought at other places. So while youre taking rain, youre putting others in the same situation as you. Humanity is so greedy these days
Agree This will not be used for good reasons it’s already being used for nefarious purposes
You should feel lucky that your country is flooding honestly. I'm in California and we're lucky to see that amount of water every year. Yeah it sucks for housing situations and all but humans and vegetation need water to survive. Droughts are far worse than floods
Luckily we won't be able to develop any weather manipulation tech for a very long time

Ethical complaints aside, this is vital to progress into a level 1 civilization “weather” you like it or not.
There is one major ethical and rights issue here which needs to be discussed. Affecting the weather is not just a local issue, but a world wide issue. To change the weather say ver england as they gave been doing lately, will be the power of nature and the gulf stream, effect those in asia. Yes you jeard. The gulf stream swings up from the patagoni area, up across northern scotland and across to asia, where monsoons happen, wheer tornadoes or are they hurricanes happen, flash floding etc.now im no diplomat nor do i ntend to be, but it appears to me, tnat seeding clouds, spraying txic chems from jets as they flay across the planet up in the hights, which leaves a chem trail, which eventually comes down to earth and poisons water, grass, foid, people everything. Discuss.
A little tl;dr pls
Totally agree with you. A crime against nature, humanity with total disregard for other humans, animals, nature. Only interested in money. They are trying to play at being God.
