    • @tomknapp6194
      @tomknapp6194 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IsraellDFend I have no doubt that he will be elected to he HoF because everyone just looks at 2 games (out of 232) in which he "beat" Brady (actually Brady was having one of his worst games of the year and that somehow makes Eli great) and he will get in. And the Hall will be cheapened for it. Let's look at his entire backup quality career. Seriously, top 10 passer rating ONE time in 16 years?!?!!? That is who you want in the HoF? That is the best of a generation? hardly. There are many other QBs that are MUCH better that just didn't make it that far. I was just watching Eli's TDs and Romo's TDs. Eli needed to be within the 15 yard line most of the time. Romo was dangerous from all over. Sure, there are exceptions, but it isn't the rule.
      And as for being an idiot, how do you explain that after one of his best years ever (2018), he was still #23 in the passer rating? You know, in the bottom 3rd of THE ENTIRE LEAGUE. I'd love to hear that explanation.

    Thank you so much Eli! I'm from Germany and the first giants sb win (of the Eli manning Era) was my first superbowl (my first American football game ever) and I became a fan right in the game (I didn't know anything about the game) later I looked up rules, teams, history, legit everything about the NFL and I became a 49ers fan, so it was hard to see the nfc championship loss. Still I didn't forget who got me here, so thank you Mr. Manning it was a pleasure. I never understood the hate again him, I would get it if the chargers fans where mad, but everyone? For me he is a hall of famer no doubt about it. #GoodbyeEli #Thankyou10 (I hope my English isn't too bad I'm still learning)

    From 2011 to present:
    QB A: 31,594 yards - 204 TDs - 118 INTs - 87.5 rating - 70-61-2 record (.534)
    QB B: 34,377 yards - 210 TDs - 131 INTs - 86.8 rating - 57-74 record (.435)
    One of these QB's is Eli Manning, the other is Andy Dalton. Before anyone says it, yes Eli Manning has a pair of rings (with a better organization and coaching), but the point is that Eli was as average as average gets. Outside of those 2 playoff runs, he did absolutely nothing to be worthy of HOF consideration. He was also 0-4 in the playoffs with 3 TDs and 7 INT's outside of those 2 Super Bowl runs.
    In other words, those 2 playoff runs are literally all he has for a HOF case. I've never seen anything like it. He's like Joe Flacco if Flacco did it twice instead of once.

      @tomknapp6194 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope, not HoF. There is a serious uncomfortable truth when people post that Eli is top 10 all time in yards and TDs. In 2004, Eli was drafted with Rivers and Roethlisberger. And at the end of 2018, they were all 6th, 7th, and 8th all time in TDs and yards in pretty much a closely knit group. That sounds pretty good, doesn't it? Except that Roethlisberger needed 800+ fewer attempts to have the same totals as Eli. That is almost 2 complete seasons worth of fewer passes. Does that sound bad? Rivers needed almost 1,000 fewer passes. Let's put this in perspective. Once you account for the number of yards per attempt, Rivers and Rothlisberger are still at tied at #9 all time. Eli? He falls to #87 tied with 14 other QBs, most who didn't play in the same pass happy league that Eli did. NOT HoF material.

    • @zorack7030
      @zorack7030 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tomknapp6194 Eli Manning isn't HoF material with 2 superbowl MVPs and top 10 stats? LOL

    • @tomknapp6194
      @tomknapp6194 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zorack7030 If you read headlines, that is a great lead and most would agree that he's great. Until you look at the rest of his career. In 2007, he basically stumbled through the playoffs relying on the other QBs to have their worst games of they year (3 QBs that destroyed the Giants defense in the regular season). Basically, he had ONE pretty good year in 2011. One year out of 16. If you had an employee that was a superstar maybe 3 times in 16 years, would you consider him be a great employee? In the other 96% of his career, he was nothing special. He even had better stats since after he won the SB and NY is STILL losing. That just accounts for the facts the the Giants were lucky both times.

    • @zorack7030
      @zorack7030 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tomknapp6194 The Giants were a pretty poor squad in 2011 when Eli took them to their second title of his. They were 32nd in the run and 27th ranked defensively. And since he won that second superbowl the Giants were a badly ran organization and he only had year, the following year, where the team was truly above average. Despite that he still never missed a game due to injury and became top 10 all time in those main statistical QB categories. One of only 5 players to have 2 superbowl mvps, he's getting in there's no argument against it. The Giants didn't give him many good/great years and his 2nd champ win season he carried the team to the playoffs and through it.

    • @tomknapp6194
      @tomknapp6194 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zorack7030 So, you are saying that his 16 year career is HoF worthy? Being 109-113 in the regular season, a top 10 QB ONE time (that is 6% of his career), lead the league in interceptions 3 times...... And the list goes on and on. His "best stats" are just from a long career and when compared to Rothlisberger and Rivers (drafted the same year), he seriously under performed compared to those good, not great, QBs.

    Eli “the Patriot slayer” Manning

    • @tomknapp6194
      @tomknapp6194 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Um, no. Especially in 2007, Eli had to rely on the 3 QBs that DESTROYED the Giants defense to have their worst games of the year and still need a lucky play to pull out the win. I don't know in what universe that qualifies as good. Beat Brady when he's having at least somewhat of an average game and you MIGHT have some traction.

      GOAT? All I saw was Eli, the master of the interception and blown games. Sure, he had 2 good 4 game seasons, but outside of that, he just wasn't that good over the other 224 games that make up more than 96% of his career.

    Even though he never beat his older brother Peyton there now people, he still is better in certain statistical areas than his older brother there though along with also being undefeated in Super Bowls having never lost in the big game on the line there when it counted most there as well now there people. He definitely is not better than his older brother overall but he most definitely would get redemption and would beat his older brother Peyton there every single damn time from here on out if there were to ever have been a fourth or more matchups to follow up with there though indeed for real for real there now people! I truly believe that he has still got it and could come out of retirement to win championship title games for us there yet again, but obviously that is not really going to happen there now and all there for real people.
