Hello guys any information on how to solve no spark problem on this distributor. The coil was in bad shape I replace it then I notice that the igniter is not igniting the coil what could be the problem coz even on the injeter wires I don't get signal but only power??
hey so I accidentally snapped the dog ear on the drive dog and want to replace it and I see that you marked the orientation to put it back on but I was wondering how I could make sure I have the correct orientation on a completely new drive dog that im going to replace the old one with? thank you in advance
If you put it on backwards the car won't start. I don't really have a great way to tell you man. I'm just a dude making videos sometimes I'm not a shop or anything.
If still needed, the way you do it is you point the rotor (or flat side of the rotor rod) in the direction of the first cylinder (if you rotate distributor so it's round on top and two corners down and cap side facing you, it's towards the left corner) and then you put your drive dog so that its and distributor's grooves are on the same side and should line up.
@@leorivera1372 no worries man! Every dizzy I have ever seen has been one. Haven't touched many accords though I'm actually working on fixing a hacked together obd1 to OBD2 ecu right now
HELLO: can i ask whats the meaning off the spring you put back in the coil: ,mine dit not have the spring and i put another spring in there: is it possible that without the spring the coil not fire* greetz from belgium
If you have a 99 SI Which I think the Engine is the B16 then the ignition coil OEM part number is 30510-PT2-006 which is on the link I posted. you can find oem part numbers at hondapartsnow-dot-com
The cuestion is is go a work becouse i have replace the coils the ingniter several other things and it stil don work for yoy tb crerible you need to put it on car and started
@@joseordonez3422 I have no idea what you just said lol. It is on my car though and I use it Everytime I drive the car. Also other people had success with my video. This sounds like user error to me my guy
Is there a camshaft position sensor inside the distributor? Thanks in advance.
@@thanhdang2546 yes
good video but I would have changed the bearing too while you're in there
Will keep that in mind for in the future

@@tsheposenong9081 that could be an ECU issue

use a very good philips or japanese JIS to unscrew the rotor cap, it can be on very tight
I need a good JIS honestly
There should only be one washer when pulling out the pin? Mine had a lot of play, side to side when moving it so i thought it needed 2 washers?
This was an untouched dizzy. 1 from factory.
@@CorpseFreak okay thanks was trying to find out where the leak was
@@CorpseFreak sorry for the question, had to ask since I opened a distributor on a accord and it had 2

Yes. Spring is Needed for fire. It's closes the gap from coil to cap.
Ok thank you for the information. Greetz geert
What if you clean all the seals could it work?
@@marilynmelendez8256 no. It will still leak.
Will the ignition coil you have in the link as the JHD500 fit and work on a 99 civic obd2 B distributor?
Just saw this. Let me take a look

What can i do if the pin doesn't slide out? Its stuck in there but your video and others it just gently slides out
Did you take the lock ring off?
I did. The pin is loose on the outer key but somehow stuck towards the center of the shaft. I tried lightly tapping but nothing
Hi! Great video! Is this for a ‘95 civic dx ej2? Thank u!
