I like to "double-bag" connectors like that too. I'll do two layers of shrink tube. I always thought the dizzy was the weakest link on the B series. Like seeing this. You can get shrink tube with internal glue that holds it in place after shrinking
Does this work on a 95 Honda Civic? I was thinking about replacing the coil and the ICM, It’s bizarre how you took all those things out and then put just put that cap on. But I’ve been having a problem with stalling and then about 10 minutes later and restart if a cop doesn’t come by and call tow truck for me in the process. Anyway my question is would that fit a 95 Honda Civic so I can just get rid of all that crap in there?
You're right it does say that and I'm not sure why because I used it just fine - it's possible I actually have the Type R distributor. I'll need to check on that.
You do. I have the HondaRulez PCB added to my OBD1 ECU: ae-race.com/products/honda-b-series-coil-on-plug-harness?_pos=59&_sid=ae417d349&_ss=r&variant=37767378501803 Otherwise you'll have no outputs on your ECU to power the coil packs.
wow you also are supposed to remove the icm in the dizzy an pull the black an yellow also blue wire depin plug also the icm wire depin it from the plug the green an white wire theres a video from burton racing that shows you i think u missed a few things but nice video great job just missed a few steps another video would be awesome👍🦾
There’s no need to remove anything if you don’t want to, you’re only using the cam/crank/tdc sensor the ecu looks for in the distributor. Power is supplied to the new coils via the factory engine loom and tach signal comes from the hondarulez board. All that is wired in the new harness provided in the kit.
Obd1 distributors acually has a cam position sensor in the distributor and a ignition trigger. I know you know that but many watching may not. 👍
I just ran into this issue today! It's time to go coil on plug!
So you are not using the second 2 pin connector correct? That would be the same to wires that no longer go to anything or no?
i have a 1997 honda inspire what do i need to change to coil on plug
What year integra gsr did that come off of thanks

It sure is the weakest link
Thinking about doing this with a 4th gen preludei have because i cant do ANYTHING to make it get spark
I have a 4th gen too and need a new distributor. How's your car sparkin now? Msd?
anything for the f23a4 motor?
Do you have to do anything to the ecu
Yes. This car is on a standalone Link ExtremX ECU
Check them out at ae-race.com
Hi mate I've got a f20b5 honda accord sohc engine what do I need to do coil on plug conversion any help would be appreciated, thank you 😊
Would a cam sensor work from a 89 prelude
Im trying to make a reluctor to bolt to cam remove dizzy completely
I’d be super interested to see that

If you have an ECU modified to support coil on plug you could do this on a Civic as well.
hey man how can I get one of the cap for sr20 distributor
VMS doesn't make one for sr20 but I'm sure someone does
Nice hat! 🔥
Also I need to do this on my 99 prelude SH
Sir...can I know how to do this at my 4age20v cop conversion...
I'm confused, the link for the product says it won't fit a GSR distributor. Can you shed some light on this?

@@joelatwar did you ever find out if it will fit GSR dizzy??
Hi. Bro a quiestion Do you have to modify the ecu? I have a p28 and they told me that I have to put S300 hondata be able to put coils.!

Can you not completely delete the entire thing and block the hole?
I need the crank position sensor that is built into it
THIS GUY IS TOO FAST AND FURIOUS.
Do you have ig I have some serious Honda problems
@joelatwar
@@joelatwar I hit you yp
good job.

I think I explained it poorly. There's no need to repin anything because of the way the AE-RACE coil-on-plug harness is wired.

Damn it’s outta stock
