I have to be careful because it’s going into my intestines so my doctors said that I should watch what I put in my intestines because they won’t have the stomach acid to help break the food down. Also I’m terrified of clogging it so I don’t even try. I will occasionally put fruit juices through my tube (or on some days coffee lol)
For a j tube 93 ml/hr(I saw that rate in some of your previous videos) is a really good rate. Even when I tolerated full feeds my max rate was 65 ml/hr (so we switched me to a formula that was 1.5 k/cal per ml so I could do the slower rate). Now I can only tolerate max 10-15 ml/hr and I only do that 12-16 hours a day sometimes I do 25 ml/hr for a few hours. I stopped tolerating J feeds in June of Last year and have been on TPN since then. I first used Osmolite before I stopped tolerating feeds and then in June switched to Vivonex RTF.
It’s definitely fast for sure! My pump also is broken so it’s not going as fast as is says it’s going. Im not tolerating it super well, but I don’t have another choice. I need to get my full nutrition and hydration so that’s as slow as it will go for me to get that. Also I’m so sorry you’re going through all this!! It’s tough for sure. I pray you the doctors can have wisdom in all this and that you continue fighting strong ❤️
I just switched to the Enteralite Infinity Pump about 2 weeks ago. I had the joey for about 15 months before that. I love the enteralite way better! Way lighter and quiters. I also just got my GJ button yesterday which I love compared to the long tube. I am sorry you are going through this too and I hope they get to the root of your issues.
I do have a question are you able to blend up any kind of foods and insert it into your tube

Aren’t the bags to that pump much smaller though?

There are two options there is a 1200 ml bag and a 500 ml bag. I prefer the 500 ml bag because of slow I run feeds
