Thanks so much David! And thanks for the time and effort that went into creating such a fantastic bridge. I'd been waiting for a long time for the right drop-in bender bridge, and until this came along wasn't interested in anything else on the market. Keep up the great work! (and hopefully one day I can get my hands on one of your amazing lap steels!) Cheers!
Lovely!. Do you know the American guitarist Jim Campilongo? He does a lot of nice pedal steel sounding stuff on a tele, but without the b bender. (Not that there's anything wrong with a b bender!)
Absolutely! Campilongo plays some amazing guitar! Interestingly, a late friend and former bandmate of mine introduced me to Jim's music (and even played drums for him once upon a time.)
Yeah, it definitely takes some getting used to manipulating both of those bender levers, but it's really fun trying to get those quasi-steel guitar sounds.
That's v cool about your friend...he isn't the guy in the anorak in the video of Caravan with Nels Cline is he? I thought you probably would know about Campolingo but also thought that if you fidnt you might enjoy his stuff
Real nice!
Thanks!
Very nice Colin! There were even hints of Clarence White in your licks, thanks!
Oh man, thanks, you couldn't have paid me a better compliment.
Really interesting contraption great playing.🤩👍
Thanks! It's been a fun journey learning to play that crazy thing! Still a ways to go...
I’ve mostly watched your mando content. But dang you really make that guitar sing. Keep it up!
Thanks, glad you liked my little departure from my normal content!
Great !!!!🙌
