Another great review Diego and have to agree with your conclusion. It's such a subjective one it's hard to recommend one way or another. It depends entirely on your appreciation for slubby/neppy (or otherwise unusually characterful) denim. Objectively of course the quality is there - as with all things ONI. For me I'd already got the Asphalt. I liked the unique appearance of the fabric and haven't regretted buying them. Those are already as rough as I could tolerate however so I didn't dare go for an "extra" rough pair!!!
This jeans, I think are targeted for a group that like this kind of fabric, and you are right are very rough!!, maybe wearing and wiht washed softened a little but I not sure
The off-set back belt loop is not a flaw by Oni. It is intentional. It is a nod to 1940s and 50s jeans, in particular Levis, that had the off set belt loop on some pairs. I think it adds to the charm of these pants.
Just tried a pair. 246. Absolutely in love with material. But.... Fit is so weird. Im used to high quality jeans being higher waist and wide legs. But this one fit just like your run of a mill hackett/rrl chinos. Normally im 38. Here 38 was almost unbuttonable waist, almost skinny fit legs, and rise so low, underwear pops out the moment i try to sit down. Now im signed up for 40 in stock notification, but i suspect ill wait for quite a while. Aside from that, which fit should i look for? Tried 200 in different denim, seemed a bit too big below knees, great otherwise....
Ever heard graph zero jeans? They look cool too... the offset back belt loop is on every oni asphalt denim jeans, so it is not sloopy workmanship... it is a design element, although i dont know why...
Hi, Thanks for watching!!!!; I got ONIs that don't have this feature, and I have seen this model in different sizes, and some have centred the belt loop 🤷♂️ maybe that is who sewed the belt loops?
Great video again Diego. Ive looked a few times at Oni jackets, just dont seem many in my size. The Evolution video in your link by Sticks be growin, he always wears his denim etc very hard. He does constant manuel work etc and thats why his are so used. It seems to be the kind of Evolution he looks for.( i guess thats Denims original purpose).
I usually wear size 34 diesel jeans . But the actual measurements on the jeans is 37.5 as they are low/ mid waist. Should I buy size 34 or 36 in these?
Learned a lot from this review, I always do at Urban Lad! These are the exact pair I have been looking at, my only hang-up with them is the rise, I wish they were high rise. They just look so cool in their original state, I do wonder, however, how Super Rough will age over time. Nice fades, slow fading etc. I think I will get a pair, but nowhere seems to have them aside RH.
Haha the rear centre belt loop being offset is not "sloppy". It's a purposeful design feature, mine are the same as are everyone else's. Oni are some of the very best around and don't do "sloppy"
Hi!!! Thanks for watching. Oh! I have 3 pairs of ONI and the only one that have this feature is the pair that I review, also I have had other sizes of the same pair and don´t have this feature. Maybe is who sewed this pair or yours, I don't know.
@@UrbanLadUK I think it might be because this fabric is so "3 dimensional" that it ends up too thick to stitch the belt loop directly onto the sewed fabric directly below. I have the Asphalt ones and these have the same feature. None of my other ONI's do. As the commenter said, I'm virtually certain it's a deliberate offset.
Hi everybody, the belt loop is offset because it's a reproduction of 501s from the 50s and beginning of 60s. That's how it use to be done back in the days. Not an error. Oni denim don't make mistakes like that. Nice video though..
I appreciate you sharing your knowledge, above and beyond erudition.
Thank you for your kind words!!!
Imádom nagyon szép jó minőség!Mint itthon a Trapper Farmer!Levis sehol sincs ehez a minőséghez manapság sajnos már csak divat farmert gyárt!
Gratulálok!
Great video, was able to see the fabric in the closeups you gave. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!! It is a really nice fabric

Thank you!!! The evo is fantastic and is the only way to test how durable are the jeans

Probably size 36 it the best for you keeping in mind the measurements of you jean, the measurements of ONI 20oz and the stretching. 👍

Hi!!! thank you Mate, wait until Denimo restock, I think they have the best barging
@@UrbanLadUK Ohhh, they actually restock? I thought it was strange that almost everything I looked at on their site was sold out!
@@southstaronline They restock be patient:;)

@@sammyb1651 I was thinkng the same, there is a new release of ONI and the loop belts are stitched to the midline
