I did the rear on my '19 for about $100. It was a bit more since I have the track pack. Bosch pads, sensor, and turned the rotors.. My fronts are due soon. Now that's going to cost quite a bit more since just the pads are over $120.
What’s the difference on a track pack? Turned rotor? Do you mean resurfacing them? I did the rear pads & sensor only. I bought powerstop pads & my front are due as well. Front pads looking like $50-60
@@marvingiron9026 Actually called the track handling package. It came with the blue calipers, limited slip diff, adaptive suspension, and extra cooling. Front pads for the big brakes are much more expensive. Yes, resurfaced the rotors.
I got one definitely reccomend it got a AWE exhaust and a BMS intake I'm bout to put on and ordering the VSRF downpipe and a JB4 tonight as Mines a 2021 the ecu unlock is bonkers so I'm doing a piggy back imo $600 for 315 hp is better than $3000 for 360 hp but I highly reccomend this car for a first time bmw I lost my audi s4 to a accident and this car is WAY cheaper and honeslty a bit more fun not so much fun you'll wrap it around a pole but still tons of fun and is super stylish used i payed 26k for mine with 30k miles so for 5.2 0-60 stock I'd say comfort and performance plus reliability it's the best car for the budget and checking all the boxes
I recently got a pre owned 2019 bmw 330i dis year in may and I love it no problems whatsoever, I feel like people who give bmw a bad rep are the ones who push the car to its limit bec its been good for me
i love my 330i, it’s a 2021 it got the right power for me while still looking mean. Soon i’ll get a M but for now it’s doing me good. did some light exterior cosmetics like custom badges and M style carbon fiber side mirrors and tints.
I’ve had my 2022 330i RWD with 35k miles for about two months now, and I’ve already put around 2,000 miles on it. The car has been great, with only one minor issue. At one point, a low coolant warning came on, but after stopping for fuel and restarting the engine, the warning disappeared. When I got home, I noticed the coolant level was a bit low, so I topped it off with the blue coolant for European vehicles from AutoZone. There were no signs of leaks, not even from the cap. Overall, the car is performing really well!
beautiful car I just got a 2021 330i and I love it, has everything and it came with laser light and premium package so ambient lighting and head up display.. they sold it to me with the wheels bent tho which sucks bc the wheels are 1,600 all 4, just gonna wait a little bit before I dump money into it
I've had my '19 since new. Looks similar except its a bit more optioned. So far after 55k miles I have not had to do anything to the car other than oil changes, rear brakes and tires. Gas mileage on the highway is as good as a honda civic, even with an ecu tune.
Prepare for Oil Filter Housing, Heat Management Module, and Motor Mounts. My 21 is at 59k. I was going to replace them all as preventive maintenance, but found out they were actually already failing.
I understand the issues you experienced with the ambient lighting and active grill are considered extremely minor issues. However, for someone looking to purchase a 330i without warranty, that is not very assuring. I wonder how much it wouldve cost to have those issues resolved by BMW without any type of warranty.. Keep in mind that this is still a relatively new vehicle.. I would be slightly annoyed if I were to be stuck with a $500+ bill
Thank you for the video. But you had 3 electrical issues at around 21k miles. Then you rated reliability as high between 21k and 26k miles. Then mention it needing rear brakes already. Putting 5k miles in the mid 20k range is mo measure of reliability. Im interested in the car and everything else yiu mentioned was of value. Thanks again.
I have a 2023 BMW 230i same engine and trans just with Idrive 8 and different chassis I just hit 22k miles from factory a year and 10 days ago. And Reliable yes have I had an issue yes. At my first oil change they were like transmission is leaking they topped it off and asked it back in 1k miles to inspect it kept it for 30 total hours and they paid for the rental I did top it off for them. I do my maintaince 2k miles early the earliest the dealer will do it bc I am rough with my car a little bit and do a ton of miles. Keep up with car but before that get a pre purchase inspection for any used vehicle and ask the dealer to fix the issues before you buy it. since the owner is a huge factor in the issues. Edit: Total things got a flat so one tire and the trans and just the normal oil changes. I take her to autocross, drifting and burn outs and the FL weather on the I4 and I average above the EPA with 38 MPG and without stunts 40-44.
Yea, his car hasn’t been reliable. Saying the engine didn’t blow doesn’t say much at that low mileage. I sold mine after I had to have it towed, per message on my dash. I had the exact same spec as him (CPO). It was in the shop more than driving so I just sold it on auto trader.
the next thing i’m doing is getting some black rims, then a MST intake and exhaust. Then probably next year performance spark plugs, aftermarket intercooler and downpipe to get a stage 2 tune.
just got mine last week 2020 1 owner 40k mile. drive from SF to Seattle around 1.5k park at the house few days first drive it in Seattle check engine light on=))))
How's the driver's head-hip room? I'm 6''3 and looking for the same model, so my only concern about this is.. will i be comfortable driving it for a daily? Great video by the way.
It’s pretty solid actually! It might be a little close on the headroom but it’ll be comfortable still. The seats have adjustable height + the seats sit very deep. My 6’1” had more than enough room (that’s the closest comparison i can reference)
I’m 6’2 and it’s good I normally sit w my seat way back in cars tho, I sit comfortably w nobody behind me and it’s okay if I have to have someone tall behind me
It’s easy. Just unclip the original grill and put the M340i style on. It fits perfect. M340i is the much better car (as far as performance) but you’ll save a lot of money with a 330i
Really enjoyed watching the video. I just bought a 22' 330i last month and i'm not seeing the speed limit display on the instrument cluster. My car has the lane departure assist feature, and i have read that with that should come the SLI (speed limit information). I wanted to know if you did anything to have that show on the cluster or if it was there when you bought the car? Thanks
I’m not positive but I’m pretty sure it changed in the settings in the “heads up” and “display” area. It allows you to select the speed limit on your screen. Mine is currently on but it wasn’t when I bought it. Check in your settings for it
This man said the insurance was type expensive went from 1 somethimg to like 290 or so lmao, I can tell by that you don't live in the north east, but I'd love that price should be getting a 330i myself within a year or so so just watching and seeing what others have.
Yes it’s worth it if you are keeping your beemer past 5 years or 60k. You can also buy it separate from your car loan and set up a payment plan with 0 interest over 24 months. Finally, go on BMW forums and look for dealers who are on there providing manufacturer quotes. Good luck in your purchase
I got a 21 330i I love it. I had it for 2 months now at 32.5k miles and currently at 36.5k miles no issue other than rear pads that I did my self since am a mechanic.
How do you feel with the 330 as far as day to day acceleration/quickness?I have an e92 335i and f32 435i both are 300hp no complaints..just hate how BMW no longer has something similar ..the 340/440 with 382hp seem like more than I need for daily and on paper 255hp seems a bit low

The torque response is perfect for what it is. You can feel a solid response in sport mode but comfort mode is almost unbearable for city driving. There is a lot of lag so I usually keep it in sport mode.
g20 330 has 255 but stock for stock is lined up against an n54 (my 330 vs fams 135i) but yea you just wont get the same power peak as a n54 but you will get super similar if not the same as a n55.

I actually came from a Lexus (Honda before that) but the biggest change was the level of technology. The 330i has some of the most advanced technology for the price. It’s been a good experience!
I did the rear brake’s myself. BMW quoted me $425 for my 330i 2021. I order the parts for $70 and did it myself so easy!
