Tyr's author here. Tyr does use speedmining, but it glitches out when there are too many bases, so at some point in the game it is turned off. Other bots have managed to do it in a way that this is not necessary, but I haven't prioritized fixing that yet. Seriously tough, that Terran parade push did indeed look like The Brick, a classic build. It is very possible that this bot's origins predate the discovery and mass implementation of speed mining.

Tyr was speed mining at the beginning. He probably disables it later on to avoid bugs or something.
