Emily sure does love emptying the lunch boxes, she just beams with excitement. Such a busy week for you with lessons and concerts and the holidays. I remember how busy it was for me and I only had one, managing a busy schedule with four kids must be much harder, you're lucky the kids aren't too picky when it comes to their lunches. Thanks for sharing the lunches with us, it's always fun to see the kids so busy with everyday life. I have to say it was wonderful to see the snow, I really miss it especially around the holidays and this year for some reason I missed it even more. 🙂
We didn't have any snow for Christmas, but new years was different, it was very pretty! It makes the season feel just a little more magical. I've never spent Christmas in a warm climate, it would feel so different. Have a great weekend! Happy new year to you all! 🎉
Emily is a great helper! Love the lunches-they look great. Oh I made that curry honey mustard chicken dish you showed on one of your videos a while back. It was a big hit with the whole family so I'll be making it again-super yummmmmmyyyyyyyyy! I served it with a side of basmati rice and roasted brussels sprouts. Happy new year!
Hey Lily, I'm so glad you tried, and loved the honey baked chicken! We had it for supper last night. I always serve it with rice too!! Happy new year!! 🎉🎉
I can completely relate to the suckers first thing in the morning 😂 Sometimes it be like that with toddlers! If my kids would eat scrambled eggs, I’d pack it in their lunches too! I hope the kiddos are grateful for all that you do for them with the hectic mornings and busy schedules!! ❤ Also, what beautiful weather! We do not see that over here out our windows in Southern California 😋
The snow is so pretty, Katie. And yes, with toddlers, you have to pick your battles! Lol I'm glad my kids will take things like scrambled eggs for lunch. I think they're appreciative of what I do. Have a great weekend! Happy new year! 🎉 .
What wonderful lunches I love having fresh fruit green grapes are one of my favorites. I love using a thermos to keep hot food hot especially when taking macaroni and cheese. Hope you and your family enjoy Christmas break can’t wait to see more videos on your channel your content is wonderful

It's so fascinating how we humans live on the same planet yet soooooooooooooooo different 🙂. For us, school is closed and will resume around the 17th of January for a period of 3 months then close again. I figured your schools run for a very long time and you have a very long holiday. I guess our differences makes life interesting
Makes things interesting, doesn't it. 😊 Our school year starts early September, the kids get two weeks off for Christmas break, one week off in March for winter break (or March break as we call it here) and the school year ends around the end of June. July and August is summer break. 😊
@@mominthemaritimeswe start early August around the 9th normally. We get a break in mid October for fall break (Fri-Mon), thanksgiving we get wed-fri off, Christmas break we are off for 2-2.5 weeks. And and a week for spring break late March. Then we get out the 4th week of May. Others in the us don’t start till late Aug or even September just depending what part of the us they are in. We are in Indiana.
@@brandierhoades4696 wow, that's so interesting. Your kids get so much more time off than ours do. Christmas break was shorter this year, they went back January 2nd. I didn't like that at all. I love having everyone home!
You need to do Christmas shopping for your kids
