When I woke up I became a bagel girl, is a Korean Manhwa that recently got turned into an anime. Similar to God of High School and Tower of God. Let's see what this Bagel Girl Anime is all about.
I just finished watching this anime and I really enjoyed it. I think it’s way too underrated and needs a lot more attention. I wish we could get a season 2 but I’m not sure if that could happen or not. Maybe his new best friend could turn into a guy for the next season. I can already imagine the hilarity that would ensure because of that.
It's a little disappointening for me that Bong gi and Ji min(aka. the girl he switched bodies with) didn't met each other afterwards. I would have liked them to know each other.
I thought it was left ambiguous, but on two sides of a coin I thought. One being they do meet while Bong Gi has found himself and the other part of him as a woman and telling all of the awkward and crazy adventures. Either she becomes friends or just a one time thing since it was strange and traumatic. But it could make more sense since Bong Gi did try to save Ji Min's life. The second, being they may not meet since Bong Gi can use her as an example of another life (one being he imagined if he were a complete stranger), although he does get more insight into Ji Min personally as well, giving empathy on different circumstances in life.
I'd like to give it a watch. It seems interesting. But does he ever change back and learn to love himself on the inside??? If so, I'll gladly watch the journey to that point. If that doesn't happen and it's all "tits and giggles" (like every other lewd service anime) then I'll give it a hard pass. (PS: Props to using "Super Special" as your outtro. I love that song)
Yeah, the protagonist started to miss his old self and eventually changed back to his old form but lost some weight. Overall it’s a good watch and it made me cry.
I’ve just finished watching it and yeah he got back to his old self but **SPOILERS ALERT** Personally, I don’t like the ending- -The girl Ah Reum real body was dead, it’s shown multiple times, even her soul was shown literally! And it’s been Like a few days of her being dead! But again they prolly switch body With Bong Gi and that’s why real Bong Gi is in a coma! But it has one plot hole they switch body when Bong is trying to save her, yet he changed body in his room! And at the end we literally saw her soul haunting and sh!t but she also came back to life at the ending like howw!? - also they didn’t even make Bong as good looking as he was in Highschool! The ending sucks, it should’ve ended in either two of these ways- 1. Sae mi’s brother not know about Ah Reum and she didn’t die the second time(and came back for the 3rd time🙄) and they go with the flow after defeating the bad guy. Both Ah Reum and Sae Mi’s brother continue their love life(I know it’s weird) or 2. ah Reum tells Sae Mi’s brother the truth, and they continue as a friend but Bong as Reum! And that bad guy’s sister and Sae’s brother get back together! I know the moral of the story but Bong only got a job! I mean it’s enough but not as much as what he could’ve got if his legs were never broken! Some might say it’s realistic, but this anime doesn’t deserve a realistic ending with such bs magic going on! The ending makes little sense!
@@grandefrppc honestly I get how the ending didn’t stir well, but it’s just anime being anime. with bonggi, he wouldn’t have lost all of his weight, considering his build but he did dropped some pounds.
