Beautiful locomotive! I hope the crew on this train "really likes it hot"! By the time they reach Texas and Laredo in particular and all the heat the steam locomotive generates. Oh, boy!

Get rid of the diesels all together. A steam train is just that. STEAM.
Good that it got off, ruined the whole entire train.
@@waynecarwile7486It's a liability issue so not bring along a diesel or two, plus the 2816 would never be able to pull this consist on her own.
It did not "quit", CP just didn't intend on bringing it all the way down to Laredo.

Is this train headed on a cross-country tour, or is it mainly a western thing? I’d take time to go see it if it came out to the Maritimes.
It's not in Canada anymore. It just went into North Dakota and will continue into Mexico before returning to Calgary.
