Even the 100% cotton jeans stretch out a little. I have one 501 90’s in 28 and 2 in 29 and the 29 get too loose and my waist is like 29.5. I even have a loose fit Levi’s in 27 that fit. In store I saw a 501 90’s in a true black Sz 28 that were much smaller than other rinses. So weird. Great vid!
I agree, I take 27 waist in 501 & high rise styles, but black ones are made in a different type of denim so I sized up to 28 in those,for exactly the same fit as the blue jeans.

I find that rib cage never fits my waist it gaps and the hips are tight I know some people love them so I think they are best for certain body types. I prefer the 501s myself that waist height is much better for me.

You're totally right with the ribcage. They will stretch out quite a bit. Also they come in an ankle length which is nice for petites.

The rise is not high enough on you with the first few pairs of jeans.
Mid rise are not supposed to be high.
