My cousin is a diehard fan of Naruto, as soon as i showed him Kinich's trailers, he immediately pestered me to pull for him.
I was supposed to save for Xilonen, but he IS my best friend, i suppose.
It's a shame to spend all my hard earned primo-

Long story short, i showed the trailer for him and he immediately picked up Sasuke and Naruto's VAs. Then i told him i wanted to skip Kinich for Xilonen, then we ranted. So, i said, ''fine, i'll pull until a 5-star, if it's him great, if not, i'll pull for Leopard mama''
The plan slightly backfired but not really. I like his gameplay, so i thought it'd be worth a try.
Plus i didn't spend much, so there's still plenty for Xilonen and depending on my luck, her weapon or any new 4-star weapons

When HSR started, i made him do pulls for Jing Yuan.
He scored me two of them in a single 10-pull.
I'd like to think he ''pestering'' me was just a push for trying a character i wanted, but was controlling myself.
It was pretty funny tho, a 5-star exclusive on 50/50 at 0 pity (last i pulled was Arle and her weapon) with 20 pulls, all bc of a bet 😅
Kinich has to be the most fun I've had in a while. He's not even fully geared as I only farmed the new domain a few times but still hits hard
I also pulled for Ei, but I lost the 50/50 again so now i'm just waiting for new characters
I managed to get c1 and his weapon tried him in abyss, only level 80 and hit 450k lol i was stunned

FYI recent theory shows the "special effect" or the Capturing Radiance effect, shows up when you've lost at least 2 50/50s in a row STARTING FROM 5.0. Meaning it works like: lose 50/50 > next one is regular guaranteed > lost 50/50 > next one is regular guaranteed > 75/25 (capturing radiance) > IF you lost 75/25* regular guaranteed > 100/0 guaranteed Capturing Radiance. It's essentially a new system to prevent those "i lost 10 50/50s in a row" horror stories you sometimes see on the internet lmao

I feel you so much. I started with like 378 pulls and was left with 110 after losing the 50/50 to Dehya and a standard 5 star weapon, lol. Let's just say by the time I got Kinich and his weapon I was so damn done. However, he's so much fun to play and explore with so overall it was still worth it. Haven't seen anyone play his story quest yet... Looking forward to seeing you do it! It's good!
Everytime i see Arnold does a pulling session that's a very different side of him because he is such a lore guy.

I love him so much, he’s the first character I ever went for a constellation for! He’s so fun too haha
(Also I know it’s just a meta thing which isn’t important but Kinich doesn’t really use Nahida bc she doesn’t buff him at all since he doesn’t scale with EM like Alhaitham does)

I love the Natlan Music so much it just makes one relaxed it fits the vibe of the canyons and savanna plateaus, i love both the vibe of the children of echos but most the canopy peoples and also the yumkasurus so far I also got only Thomas or Saras XD

pulling for 4 stars is the worst experience ever...specially when certain 4 stars are kept hostage (like kirara kaveh chevruse faruzan) by hoyoverse....when will they finally update their monthly shop? speaking of, 4 star weapons are an EVEN BIGGER pain, because unlike in HSR limited 4 star weaps don't go to the standard banner AND they have 5 4 stars on the banner compared to 3.... and certain 4 star weapons are absolute must haves (xiphos moonlight for example)

I usually have terrible luck at the start of regions. But for my Kinich pulls I got extremely lucky. I did 40 pulls and got Mona then Kinich, and a Chevy constellation. And I still have 80 wishes to spare. So this was a nice change of pace for me.

My goodness I felt the complaint about the saurian whelps in the Abyss, and it hurt that we have to beat them to progress through the floors.
On a more positive note it seems that they are better positioning enemies in the Abyss such that it is easier to clear time-wise (less running around). Then again I still use current non-meta teams there so I end up cutting it close sometimes (a.k.a. I didn't use Neuvillette and I don't have Mualani or other current meta dps units, unless Navia counts).
But I did pull Kinich after losing a 50/50...but I'm not all that salty. C6 Chevreuse fortunately came my way (from c1) and now I'll get to experience a more comfy DPS Raiden despite being only C0. Again not meta, but I love her playstyles and teams.
I lost my 50/50 on mona but got him on hard pity. But now i can't get his weapon but i figured that was the sacrifice

ngl my pulls went pretty good because i got c1 kinich and his weapon in 90 pulls , and as i began with 9 pity no guarantee on his banner and 0 pity on weapon banner
I've been saving wishes and primos for two months and I saved up to 159 wishes. I was on 19 pity. I got Kinich in about 69 (lol) wishes, so basically hard pity. But then I wanted to see if I can get Raiden in 90 pulls without pulling a Qiqi. I pulled a Qiqi in like 60 wishes. But then I also got Raiden in the next 10 pull 😭👍🏻 So, I lost and won all the same lmao

I sniped my C6 Chevreuse in a single 10-pull. And because I strictly only pull for characters who I know I want to play and I only get one copy of 5-stars, I already have 435 pulls stored away for Chasca and Mavuika, and maybe Citlali.

Lost my 50/50 and I am currently at 68 pulls and no Kinich. Then I see people here posting how they pulled him in 20 pulls. Makes my heart break as an F2P who has been saving since last three months.
i initially wanted 3 characters from natlan mavuika chasca and xilonen and look at me now having both mualani and kinich i got him on 60 pity 50/50 cause i wanted c6 sara and i finally get the c6 sara with some con for chevreuse and im happy with the pull result he is so fun congrats on getting him arnold

I was pretty sad but then i exchanged the star glitter i got from her and the next pull i got kinich

Lost my 50/50 at first and then I had enough to pull for him like 61 more and I ended up getting the special animation and got double Kinich.

Not only is the Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King none other than Kongamato himself, but the other 5.0 world boss, Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant, is none other than Ngoubou. You can see their names above their health bars while fighting them!

I saved up 130 pulls for him. I got him and pulled on the weapon banner but i got the raiden shogus weapon. BUT im on 62 pity now and enough days to scrounge up some more pulls. 🎉
